Very crispy on the outside, tender inside. Tasty. Fries were good. Drink was just canned soda. Place is modern and service good. I'll be back to try another flavor soon. read more

This is our go-to fried chicken place, and we usually order once a month. We order Uber Eats. However, today, Sept 7, our entire meal was awful. The chicken and rice cake tasted like it sat in the restaurant for 7 hours. The chicken texture was soggy and not fried. The fish cake in the rice cake tasted spoiled. I had to ensure I write a bad review of this BB.Q Chicken in Brea because my family and I had the worst experience. We were looking forward to some fried chicken, buy ended up eating only 1/4 of the entire meal because it was very bad today. What happened today? Is the manager absent today? I placed a pickup order a little after 12 PM on Super Bowl Sunday and confirmed the scheduled pickup time. Before my daughter left home to pick up the order, we checked the estimated time again. However, when she arrived at the store, she was told she would have to wait an additional 40 minutes. Upon hearing this news at home, I called the store 9 times, but no one answered--the calls kept going to voicemail. While I understand it was a busy day due to the Super Bowl, I cannot help but feel deeply disappointed by the lack of preparation and the terrible customer service. In contrast, American franchises have well-established systems in place. My delivery from one was only about 5 minutes late, and their tracking app worked so well that even the slight delay did not cause any communication issues. I don't know what problems BBQ Chicken Brea location was experiencing, but they should have stopped accepting orders if they couldn't handle them. Instead, they continued taking orders without recognizing their internal shortcomings, which made yesterday truly regrettable. Of course, I also missed the beginning of the Super Bowl, and it was not a pleasant day at all. read more

0 stars, but it isn't an option, sadly. I've supported this particular location since they've opened, approx 2 years. Until this last experience I've always enjoyed their customer service and quality of their chicken. Ordered over the weekend, to my surprise, their chicken smelled absolutely rank. Horrible. As if it were fried in month-old oil. It was inedible. I bought it around 5pm but didn't get to have dinner until around 11pm. Obviously too late to go back to the store. Requested a refund that night over their website and was denied. They basically stole from me. I cannot in good conscience ever give them my business again. If you ever buy from them be sure to taste it immediately or be subject to the same treatment I was subjected to. Fortunately, they're definitely not the only korean fried chicken in the area. Never, ever again. read more

Food is mostly great: love the wings and rice dishes. Fries typically very soggy, even though I keep ordering with hopes that they'll be good. This week, I had an issue with the app. I could not login and everyone was playing stupid with regard to fixes. I called in my order and waited 25 min. When the survey arrives, I complain but am unable to submit because the "terms and conditions" do not have a valid link. My issues are not with the food or dozens of times I have frequented the local franchises. The app promises rewards and avoiding wait times. BUT IT DOESN'T WORK AND NO ONE WANTS TO FIX IT. So I guess I vote with my feet. read more

I was so happy to hear when this place opened because it's closer to home so I can get my Korean fried chicken fix! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, we have ordered the Golden original, honey garlic, soy garlic, cheeseling chicken wings and they're very delicious. The batter is crispy and the chicken is moist and juicy inside. I think they might use peanut oil for frying since I can taste a faint hint of peanut, so just be careful if you might have a nut allergy (you can call them to verify as well) I highly recommend their rose ddeokbokki. The rice cakes are my guilty pleasure, and the sauce, fish cakes are perfectly yummy and creamy! Prices are decent, credit cards are accepted, and there's plenty of parking. read more

Hooray for another fried chicken place in town with a Korean flair! Beware - the golden original is actually rather spicy and not mild as advertised. The secret sauce is great, but only if you can handle really spicy foods. I personally like the golden original, as the kick is just right for my preference, but it's great they offer a half & half option for those who want a mix of both. The kimchi fried rice is great and surprisingly authentic. The fries and dumplings aren't good. I'm not a fan of deep fried dumplings and unfortunately, they don't offer a pan-fried option. This is definitely an indulgent meal - not a place I'd frequent, but great if you wanna treat yo'self! read more

Maybe if they paid more attention, I would've got the correct portions. For almost $20 a plate, this place is way overpriced. I will never comeback. The restaurant definitely needs work all round.

The beef ribs were terrible. 3 bones and barely any meat on them. They were also quite dry. Like if I'm eating beef jerky off the bone. Don't get the beef ribs! The chicken plate was fine, but if you can, visit the other locations mentioned. You're welcome.

That's why this particular interaction stood out so much. One employee was incredibly rude and dismissive from the start. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable, yet I was treated as if I was an inconvenience. His tone was disrespectful, his attitude was hostile, and the entire interaction left me wondering why someone working with customers would choose to speak to people that way. What frustrated me even more was that when I calmly asked for his name, he refused to give it to me. He also wasn't wearing a name tag. If you're willing to treat customers poorly, you should at least be willing to identify yourself when asked. The other employees I've encountered here have always been courteous and professional, which makes this person's behavior even more disappointing. One employee shouldn't be able to damage the reputation that the rest of the staff works hard to build. I don't know what was going on with him that day, but there is simply no excuse for treating customers with that level of disrespect. Hopefully management takes this seriously because nobody should have to deal with that kind of behavior when they're simply trying to enjoy a meal.

This place did not disappoint. In addition to having the door open allowing fresh airflow, the machines worked lovely with the grill in front of us. For a table of six also the grill was large and there was enough table space for all of our items and everybody to eat comfortably. Also, for the price it was pretty reasonable. Staff was friendly and I look forward to coming back again sometime again in the future.
