I was so happy to hear when this place opened because it's closer to home so I can get my Korean fried chicken fix! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, we have ordered the Golden original, honey garlic, soy garlic, cheeseling chicken wings and they're very delicious. The batter is crispy and the chicken is moist and juicy inside. I think they might use peanut oil for frying since I can taste a faint hint of peanut, so just be careful if you might have a nut allergy (you can call them to verify as well) I highly recommend their rose ddeokbokki. The secret sauce is great, but only if you can handle really spicy foods. I personally like the golden original, as the kick is just right for my preference, but it's great they offer a half & half option for those who want a mix of both. The kimchi fried rice is great and surprisingly authentic. The fries and dumplings aren't good. I'm not a fan of deep fried dumplings and unfortunately, they don't offer a pan-fried option. TERRIBLE SERVICE! They ruined my dinner! AND I'm still waiting on the $5 refund I had to advocate for over the course of 25+ minutes! I come here all the time, because I love korean fried chicken. Today, after a very long day, my boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to 16 honey garlic wings. I normally don't count the wings, but today, I decided to divide the wings, so we could have 8 pieces each. This was when I realized they only gave us 15. I called the store to make them aware of their mistake. At first, they asked how I would like to be accommodated listing a variety of options: discount, rewards, or refund. I selected refund. After I selected refund, they handed the phone to Sam Yoem (the store manager), who told me they wanted to deliver the missing wing in 15 minutes. I live a bit aways from the place, and did not want to disclose my address. I declined this option, however Sam kept insisting on it 3 more times. After, Sam put me on hold TWICE for 5 minutes each to ask his boss if he could process a refund, all while ignoring my request to speak with his boss directly. BOTH times Sam came back repeating the same options to me: get a refund and have them pick up the wings, or have them deliver one piece of chicken. Eventually, Sam texted me his boss's phone number. When I spoke with his boss, CJ, he attempted to negotiate a solution with me while continuously chuckling at the situation. He suggested he could refund me $5, and asked if I would be okay with it. I informed him, I was displeased with how they handled this error, and that $5 would not make me happy after being on the phone for over 25 minutes. He brushed me off, and proceeded to suggest the $5 refund. I have NEVER received such TERRIBLE service for a business's mistake. Even after the 25+ minute conversation, where they continuously tried to negotiate my options down, they still took another 30+ minutes to send over a text saying they "processed" the $5 refund. I used to love this place, and rave about them to my friends and family, BUT after how poorly they treated me, I will no longer be coming here anymore. If you come here, I HIGHLY recommend counting your chicken before you leave the store...or maybe just save your time and money and go somewhere else...other great korean fried chicken places I LOVE are Goobne Chicken in Fullerton or Flying Chicken & Pa-Dak in Cerritos. read more

Meat was tender & moist. I really liked the sweet tangy taste of the soy garlic. Not too overpowering, so there's a nice balance between sauce and natural chicken. The side radish came free with the meal. Great taste and perfect to cleanse your palette. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location is convenient and store was very clean. I was a walk in, so it took about 15 minutes to get my meal. Better fresh than pre-made! Definitely recommended if you are a fan of Korean fried chicken. This was my first time trying Korean chicken and it will not be my last! The services we received was amazing. Everyone was polite and seemed happy we were there! We got there at right at opening (11am on a Sunday) and right from the go, they were busy! Lots a phone orders and TOGO orders but they never once forgot about us. They only have 4 tables inside so I am sure there will be some wait times on busier days, it was clean and it smelled wonderful! The food was to die for. The chicken was tender & juicy but the skin was perfectly crispy! We tried the OG and the Galbi boneless 8 piece- which was more then enough (we even had leftovers). And the Rose' Ddeok-Bokki with cheese- this hands down stole the show! So delicious and perfectly chewy! This was a first time trying Ddeok-Bokki and I can't believe we waited so long!
