New place.....I called in my order but it was not ready when I got there and they said 5 more minutes minutes but it took another 15 to 20 minutes. I'm ok with that because they just opened and are getting everything figured out. (I called in because their website ordering was not functional.) The original flavor chicken was good. The fries - both regular and waffle fries were exceptional ! The wings (we had the honey garlic flavor) were good. My problem was the "8 piece" original flavor chicken. My guess is this was maybe 3 actual pieces of chicken cut into very small pieces - so small I couldn't tell what the original piece was. For 17 dollars, I was very disappointed in this. Horrible value. But the flavor was good. The wings are 17 dollars for "8 pieces" but these are actually 4 wings cut in half. These were bigger and delicious, but for 17 dollars..... I feel they were also a bit overpriced. The fries were each 8 dollars but they were large enough to be split, so I won't quibble about the price because they were also very good. Just want to shout-out the owner SK and one of his workers, Abel. He genuinely cares about his clients having a good experience AND the best possible chicken they can have. For me, that's the most important thing. If you're in Burbank, definitely try this spot out. The red chak chak, spicy galbi, and gangjeong are my favorite flavors. Yes, there's a wait. This review is about the customer service. The food was delicious as always but.... So when picking the food up, my wife asked for some radish pickles, which they give out for free when you eat in the restaurant. But because it was to go, they said the dont give the pickles for free and we would have to pay for it. We ordered almost $80 worth of food to go. The pickles are such a small thing compared to the size of the order. Its like ordering $80 worth of burgers at a burger place and being told you can only get one ketchup packet per burger. Can't you accomodate your customers request? You would have given it out for free if we ate in the restaurant anyway so why the hassle. I dont know why customer service is so disregarded nowadays. I haven't had much experience with Korean food and I was feeling adventurous so I ordered the Rose' Ddeok-Bokki with steamed rice and pickled radish. I have nothing to compare it to, but OMG it was good. It was strange and delicious and I couldn't stop eating it! I also got the Golden Original wings and they were crunchy and addictive. It seemed a bit spendy at first, but it actually turned into 2 meals so overall it was a decent value. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I'm so glad they opened a location in Burbank! I've only ever ordered from the K-Town location and eaten at home it would be fun eat it super hot and fresh. The spicy sweet chicken is fantastic, the pickled radish is to die for and their have a nice array of dipping sauces. Nope. Gross, overpriced and tasteless. My 10 year old got the Original Boneless and I got the Black Pepper Boneless. The black pepper was just dumped onto the chicken inside the box - way too much - it really killed it. All you could taste was grease and black pepper. The Original was - meh. It was breaded chicken - absolutely nothing special about it. Just tasted like bread and grease. The fries - were fries. The bill came out to 49.00 (two 8pc boneless, fries and tip). Very pricey for 16 wings and fries. We ended up tossing out half our order - it was just gross. It's a shame - we've been looking forward to trying this spot out since it opened. read more

We have been to this place before in Sawtelle, but were pleasantly surprised to see this open when walking through the Burbank Art Festival. The chicken here is INCREDIBLE. We got the half chicken with secret sauce and my gosh the chicken is so moist and juicy. My wife, who normally doesn't really like fried food, devoured the chicken. Also one of my fav things here was they provided free gloves to use to eat your chicken. No more sticky hands afterward! We are definitely going to be back here again and again. Fair bit of warning, the chicken can take a while to come out as they fry it fresh so it's best to eat it immediately. However, it's worth the wait. I hope this is a positive step forward in getting more legit Asian cuisine in Burbank. read more

We ordered the boneless small Golden Original & the boneless small Honey Garlic. The Good: 1) DELICIOUS in terms of taste, 10 out of 10. The bad: 1) Very pricey. Paid around $36 for 16 small pieces of chicken. 2) No extra radish. If you want extra radish, you have to pay more. 3) Wait time. But all these, I knew going into the restaurant. What I didn't know was the wait time. When I ordered my food i was told my wait time would be 20-25 minutes (2 other parties inside the restaurant). But I ended up waiting 35 minutes. But I'm hoping this is something they can improve on since they opened last week. read more

5 star for the food and for the girl name Clara ( hope I spelled her name right) 1 star for her co worker who took my order, she's just plain rude. No personality, it's sad because she's so pretty! I'm not going to take it personal because she talked to everybody that way which is kinda crazy since she works in customer service. Anywho, I'm a fan of the food I've always buy it from the little Tokyo location and super stoked that Korean fried chicken have made its way into Burbank. Side note, Yelp say they closed at 9pm but beware the kitchen closed at 8:30pm the place is nice and clean. They have a big monitor with the menu on top of the register. Chicken was good but this is more about the service. When you order chicken here, they usually give you a side of radish pickles for free. I just made a large order ($145) through their website and was picking it up. When I got there, I saw the bags didn't have any pickles, so I asked for some. I was told that they only give out pickles if you order on the phone or in person, not when you order online. I was confused about that policy because it made no sense so I asked for some anyway. After some back and forth and reminding the two women behind the counter about my large order, the girl asked me if I wanted one, she would give me one. OK, that was the whole point of that exchange. It seems customer service is now a thing of the past. Something that would have been given out for free was a nuisance to hand out to someone who just made a huge purchase on a Wednesday night. It's too bad that the younger generation knows nothing about customer service nowadays. read more

Yesterday around 5:30pm I ordered almost $300 worth of chicken for a show. I called prior out of courtesy to make sure it was ok and they immediately answered the phone and said yes. When I went to pick up the order around 6pm, the 5'3" big headed woman there had a terrible bratty attitude. She either didn't wanna be there or is just a miserable person because her level of customer service was non existent. I politely asked for a bag to put the plates, gloves, napkins and chopsticks and it seemed to go downhill from there-- like I was really inconveniencing her. Before leaving, I asked if I could please get a printout of the receipt to submit to my job and she barely pressed a button on the register and said to get it from DoorDash. When I dropped off the chicken, people started asking what was what of all the different red sauces (Mala, Gangjeong..) since it wasn't labeled. I called to ask how I can find out without tasting them all and she would just pick up the phone and immediately hang up-- then not pick up at all after that. There was no one in the store before me or after me besides her and the cook. I can honestly say that I would rather drive to a different location over the hill at rush hour than come to this Burbank location again. I regret tipping in advance and wished it could've gone to just the cook, not to a miserable human. read more

Great Korean fried chicken. In college, I spent several months in Seoul and fell in love with the food. I have been dreaming of Korean fried chicken ever since and am thrilled to have this here in Burbank. The chicken is not as spicy as it is in Korea, which I think is kind of sad, but it still tastes great. I love the original signature sauce with the side of kimchi. Skip the fries. The good: the wings were plump, juicy and flavorful. The not as good: $17 for a small basket of wings without any sides is pretty steep, and having to wait 25 minutes for our order in an empty restaurant is just not going to be a good way of operating. Ever since I found out what tteokboki was I fell in love. I make it at home, experiment with different styles and ingredients and it's so hard to go wrong. This place does the best rose tteokboki I've ever had or made! So much flavor, so cheesy and creamy. It's not an easy food to find so I'm super happy I got to try it here and love every bite.
