I just found this gem with a friend the other day. Amazingly everything is uniquely homemade and it is a small business run my family members. The staff is so kind and the drinks are truly well crafted and just so good!!! They even make their own red bean paste. Tried this because of all the reviews. Ordered the small shave ice and it was huge. Two of us had a hard time finishing it. The bananas and strawberries were very fresh and the shaved ice on the bottom had lots of flavor. The interior is quite plain, the front of the cafe is crowded and dirty,There isn't a lot of choices of the menu, the prices are so RIDICULOUS! I walked in craving an iced mocha and saw the ridiculous price! My jaw dropped almost $7 for a large coffee and other drinks, $2 more than if I got it at a well known coffee franchise like Starbucks. I bought it anyways and tried it and it was disgusting and disappointing...$7 for that was a joke! I told the person that was working there that I didn't like it and they offered to make me a new one and of course I said yes, but when they gave it back to me...it was more watery than the first time! I love how this place has so many options to choose from. And what's even better is that the items on their menu are all so good. I got the Taiyaki which was hands down one of the best I've ever had. I loved how it was still soft and moist but the outside of the taiyaki had a nice crunch to it. And I liked that they didn't put too much nutella filling like other places do. Boba review - don't go there for boba. Just don't. I had the Jasmine milk tea with boba and my brother had the taro milk tea boba. The boba was overcooked but worse, it was so bland. I even tried to let my drink sit for a little so the boba would have some flavor but it didn't work. You're chewing tasteless overcooked boba. The jasmine milk tea was mediocre at best. The taro milk tea is from powder, which is the norm but there is a boba place in town that uses fresh taro. read more

Considering this isn't Southern California, I wasn't setting my expectations too high.
