Chicken teriyaki plate

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I definitely recommend it and will be coming back again!

The food was bad and service even worse. Dont come here. Decent vibes inside but not worth the money

Great spot for a quick meal! The portions are generous and the sides are actually decently flavored. However, I got the spicy chicken and it wasn't really spicy, I thought they could have added more heat. The service is similar to Chipotle, and goes pretty smoothly. There is seating inside but also outside overlooking the ave if you're into eating al fresco.

The beef Teriyaki was hard and dry. A good teriyaki sauce has a balance of sweet and automatic. The smoky salty flavor of the soy sauce should complement the garlic and ginger flavor in the marinade.. The teriyaki sauce was so sweet It tasted like corn syrup.. also the price on the menu does not reflect what is on yelp. I was also charged for double the meat which I did not ask for. Overall, if you're craving teriyaki and one large portions, this place is not bad.

A pretty good post workout meal spot. The chicken is tender and seasoned well. But the rice is too sticky and the chow mein is pretty bland.

Service is always good, ambiance is nice and I appreciate the holiday decorations. Food is always pleasing, good customization choices. Portions are also good for the price as well. A great teriyaki spot overall.

This place was super good and did not disappoint. The location is perfect and the inside was welcoming and super clean. My friend took me here this weekend and said it was the best teriyaki and the best bang for your buck. The service was super good they hooked it up and gave for good portion sizes, the food it's self was really good, they put a regular sauce and a spicy sauce on top that was just right. I will definitely be returning here and recommend it to anyone I know.

Good teriyaki, different from usual Seattle teriyaki, as it is more of a chipotle style of service. I like that you can choose rice and yakisoba and veggies along with the meat. The food tastes good and the service is nice, the price is reasonable, I do wish they served more chicken with the meal, but that is expected with the area. I will definitely go back if in the area.

We've tried other teriyaki spots but they aren't as good as BB. Food here is reliably tasty, and healthy.

Not enough sauce. The sauce and salad dressing I did get was very watered down. Like really watery.

Katsu is one of the finest fried items known to humankind, and even though eating fried food makes me feel like I've been punched in the stomach recently, I was willing to take a rocket to the gut for some stellar katsu and fries. Daruma has the set up of a no-frills establishment that knows they're going to be churning out orders. The kiosk order system isn't that common in the US because it seems ridiculously unfriendly, but Japan is about efficiency with a focus on the food. They only had two people working here so it was slow, but absolutely worth it. The spicy chicken katsu was incredible. Everything that was on this sandwich had a reason for being there. The cutlet itself was incredibly juicy and crispy. The right amount of sauce was applied so as to not make the sandwich itself soggy (critical on a sandwich with fried elements), and then the cabbage on top gives it a bit of freshness. I'm pretty sure the bread was fine, but that isn't why we're here. It's a vessel for fried food. The fries seem to need a bit of work. I think they may have gotten soggy because they came in a to-go box, but the seasoning was fantastic. They also come with whatever sauce you want, and there is a plethora to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy mayo, which I then added to the katsu sando as well. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the Fremont area.

The Peppercorn Ranch dressing is fantastic over the broccoli and celery. Normally I dislike celery, but this place made me sort of like it. This particular location was pretty empty at 1:30pm, though it was a rainy Tuesday. The interior is clean and modern. Parking is hard to come by in the Fremont area, but we were able to find parking near the Fremont Troll. We ordered the Jalapeño Business Warm Bowl and the El Sombrero Salad with chicken. Jalapeño Business (4/5): I liked how unique this bowl was. The use of raw chopped jalapeños gives it a fiery kick, while the Tilllamook white cheddar adds a nutty and salty creaminess with a Pacific Northwest flair. The pickled red onions add the acidity, while the black beans, chicken, and jasmine rice provide the body to make this bowl quite filling. The warm chipotle sauce binds it all together with a smoky chipotle flavor -- but in the menu photos the sauce is a small drizzle over the top, while in my bowl the sauce was doused and inundated everywhere like a biblical flood of chipotle sauce. The bowl was still good, but the photos don't match what you get. El Sombrero Salad with chicken (3/5): This one is actually vegetarian so we added chicken for some protein. This one was pretty mid -- the roasted corn and raw chopped jalapeños were nice touches but the romaine didn't seem like the freshest, and the leaves were too cold like straight out the fridge. Overall, I think Evergreens is a decent choice for salads but Sweetgreen is still my gold standard.

They have so much outdoor seating, on both sides of the cafe, which I really like. Way more than downtown. Food came out super quick too. My go to order has always been the Mr Breakfast plate, it's super hearty and full of great breakfast foods. However, the price has increased exponentially and quality has definitely gone down. I used to pay around $15 for this plate and it included bacon and now it's $17 + an extra $4 to add 2 pieces of bacon. (The bacon is totally worth it though). The potatoes recipe need to be completely refined, or they need to offer a substitution option for them. They are overly soft and they don't have nearly enough seasoning. That was the only thing that remained on my plate when I was done! and the soft boiled egg tasted a little off to me, like it had been sitting for a bit long. Other than that, the Turkish eggs and chopped chicken salad were very fresh and good. Staff were super nice when ordering at the counter, coffees and pastries were good as well. Overall I will come back here, just would like to see some quality changes with the Mr Breakfast as it used to be very good.

So I'm sad to see the decline in this establishment. Upon entering I immediately noticed the worn upholstery in the booths. A serious makeover is needed. So trashy. But I get it times are hard. My food arrived on a chipped plate - time to throw it away folks. The counter server was very friendly as normal so that's a definite plus. However the BLT I ordered looked like they threw all the ingredients on the toast with no real prep. The tomato jam was not jam but pieces huge chunks too big to eat. While I'm glad they aren't skimping on the ingredients it was piled so high that it was challenging to eat. I ended up eating it in pieces with my fork and as such lost the tastiness of a combination of the flavors as it quickly became a deconstructed mess. A huge plus - the Seattle Fog was probably the best "London" fog I've ever had !!! Bravo. Not sure I'll come back again this visit. Maybe I'll check it next summer to see if improvements have been made.
