First time visiting and I must say it was pretty neat. The food was good too. The concept of picking your own food is fun. Not all of the spices from the recipe cards were available, but there were plenty of options to choose from instead!

I really enjoyed the food here, especially that they had tofu and plenty of vegetables for a vegetarian option! I went with the orange sauce with some peanuts and a little bit of curry powder. I would come back for that same dish! I also appreciated that on the big cooking top, they put additional separators for my food since it was vegetarian, to keep it away from the other foods being cooked. The concept of building your own bowl is a fun one! The only reason I had to put three stars is because my husband needed his meal cooked in the back because he has food allergies, and it took forever to come out. We were halfway done with our meals when he finally got his food delivered. I also ordered a cocktail, and my drink came out when I was halfway done with my food as well. Also, the brown rice seemed like it was undercooked. It could have used a few more minutes to be fully cooked, but my friends got the fried rice, and that looked much better. Despite this, I would still come back because the food was good!

Service was great l! I sat at the bar with Cam who was friendly, patient and made a nice Long Island Food was decent and well priced. Will go back if I'm in the area and in the mood for buffet style dining. The only thing I didn't care for was that I requested a larger to go box and was told it was .50! Others than that it was good.

Food is great Management is horrible. Spending $50 on lunch. Being asked to buy 50 Cent to go boxes. I don't know if anything could be more than a slap in the face, of course if you don't wanna do that they'll give you these little tiny boxes that you have to spend 10 minutes loading up. Zero respect for the customers that support their business and for their servers who have to explain this horrible policy to every customer. This is a policy you would expect at a cheap ghetto restaurant so if that's what you're going for, OK Is anyone with a brain actually making decisions there?

    Create Your Own Bowl

I love the concept of BD's--create your own bowl from the bars filled with proteins, noodles, veggies and sauces. Unfortunately, what I don't like is the service when you order from the bar or the kitchen. We dined here today and haven't been in awhile. The create your own bowl cooked on the circular grill was amazing (probably cause you create your own!!) Delish. But we ordered Sri la from the bar and a kids meal of chicken tenders for my nephew. We had to remind several times about these orders and the kids meal finally came out after my brother and I were almost finished our bowls. If you're going for just bowls, you're fine. But beware if you order otherwise off the menu!

It was not crowded when we arrived around 2 pm, but apparently they just recovered from a huge opening rush that had people waiting to be seated. On one side of the restaurant there's hot pot tables (burner in the middle for your broth), and the other side is regular wooden table for people that want regular dishes and/or dim sum only. We got seated right away at a hot pot table because we wanted to get stuff from both menus. There daily dim sum offering is on a separate paper menu that you mark down how many servings you want of whatever tickles your fancy. Our server Kwan was fantastic! This was my parents first time for hot pot, and he did a great job explaining the process, what the sauce bar was all about, and how to order from their dim sum menu. We picked their mushroom broth, which I liked. For protein, we got the Supreme Beef & Lamb Combo for hot pot. Meats were displayed on a separate board (beef on one end, lamb opposite). Loved the assortment of veggies that come along; also liked that those veggies are served separately from the meat so it makes it easier to pick and choose what you want to eat. It was a super fun experience. I've done hot pot one other time many years ago, and I would make the same one suggestion for here, too: Wish there were dividers given to put in the broth to make it easier to ascertain which items are yours after dropping them in the liquid; it's hard to keep an eye on your very-thin beef shaves because it sinks before floating and easily gets pushed and mixed around. The dim sum was absolutely delicious! I got a few of the same things I got on my last (1st) visit, and shared a few new dishes. Their Black Truffle Siu Mai were excellent! Fantastic mushroom flavor, and each were big and filling. I highly recommend those, mmmm. Also loved the Crispy Minced Pork Dumplings! A thin fried outside around a bao-like wrapping, with minced pork and I think Kwan said mushrooms. I think Coco's is a new favorite. Their menus are full with a lot of flavors and dishes to pick from. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. There's plenty of free parking, and in my experiences, staff are friendly helpful and efficient. I'll definitely be returning to try more!

The food was good, but they felt that the schezwan dishes were not as authentic as Chilispot. I don't know if the restaurant was having an off-day but I too liked the pork belly and the water spinach more than the schezwan dishes. Hopefully, it was a one off and will be back to try other options. The ambiance is nice although a little loud.

So I'm visiting my brother and I had to take my nephew to try it. Facility: It has changed... definitely been updated since I was there last, but overall it still had the same basic layout as I remembered. Service: the waitress was great. She was tending bar too, but she never left us hanging. The manager was nice too, and the cook. Everyone made our experience great. Food: I have always said anyone who doesn't like BDs, it's your own fault. LOL! You picked out the ingredients ‍ We got the mixed appetizer so we could try a few things. Of course my kid loved the cheese sticks. And he liked the eggroll. But I didn't think they were that great. They were a little soft and not crunchy. Also the potstickers seemed overcooked and a little soft too. But the stir fry... 10/10!!!! Oh wait, the reason I marked down my review to a 4 is because they stopped putting my favorite ingredient on the bar.... Cabbage!!! Like who ever heard of stir fry or Mongolian BBQ without cabbage. This is the main ingredient in my concoction and I was so sad they didn't have it. The manager told me it was seasonal. Cabbage?!?! They could even rotate the cabbage between green, Napa, red, and savoy, but please put some type of cabbage back on the bar!!! Otherwise it was absolutely delicious and my picky nephew loved it too!!! Overall: of course I will be back any time I go to any state that has BDs. And please put one in Florida!!!

It can definitely get busy (especially on weekends), but honestly that's because the ingredients are always super fresh and there's so much to choose from. Every bowl we've built has been delicious, and my family and I never leave disappointed. The ambience is cozy with nice dim lighting, though it can get a little loud when the place fills up. Service has always been solid. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and quick to help. And yes, they do take reservations, which is a huge plus on busy nights. If I had to point out one downside, it's that the bowl you fill up is pretty small and you only get one. It makes it a bit of a challenge to stack all your ingredients without them trying to escape over the sides -- a fun little game, but still worth mentioning. Overall, though, the food is fresh and tasty, the vibe is great, and it's become a go‑to spot for us. Highly recommend.

When I walked in the atmosphere was great, I could smell good food and heard conversations. There's a large area with large round tables to right and to the left are booths and almost all of them were full. The menu was a mix of Americanized Chinese, traditional Chinese and included Dim Sum as well. There were a number of dishes we didn't know much about and there were dishes being enjoyed by other customers that looked delicious. The wait staff was more than happy to explain the dishes and/or show us on the menu what someone was eating. They took very good care of us and shared the tasks of bringing our food, filling water, and just checking in. Now the food. The food came out very quickly! We all received a well filled bowl of rice. First out was the string beans, perfectly cooked, not droopy, and the flavors of garlic and hot peppers. Even though the peppers were there the heat was not overpowering at all. Next was the shredded pork with garlic sauce. The textures of the pork and bamboo shoots were a nice contrast and the sauce was perfectly balanced and craveable. The special grilled lamb, I was told, was some of the best in the city. It was tender and well spiced. Even when he said he was full he just couldn't stop eating it. For the dim sum order we got the shrimp dumplings, soup dumplings, scallion pancake, and sesame balls and they brought a soy sauce and a chili oil with them. The shrimp dumplings were tender but the dough was pretty sticky. I think this is normal and they were tasty with some of the oil on them. The scallion pancakes were very thin and gummy, this is the only thing we ordered that I would not get again. The soup dumplings were very small but packed a lot of flavor. The dough did stick together a bit so unfortunately some of the soup did leak out. The sesame balls were the hit and we're just the right amount of sweetness that we considered them desert. They were large, at least 2" in size, with a wonderful sesame seed covered exterior and a soft, sweet center. Chuan Jiang Hao Zi is a wonderful somewhat hidden gem. If you want traditional Chinese cuisine including all the different offal they have it and I would totally try it here over anyone else if I was brave enough. Portions were a good size for the price. I highly recommend checking them out!

Rodizio is a "churrascaria," which is a Brazilian restaurant specializing in barbecue. Located in the heart of the arena, District, Rodizio is a singular dining destination. Nothing quite like it anywhere nearby. There is a full salad bar, which is more like a food bar in actuality. Selections include traditional salad items of course, but also selections of pastas, vegetables, and other hot and cold food selections, as what can be best described "side dishes." This portion of the restaurant is self serve. There are of course menu items that can be ordered, but what most people come here for is the roving meat experience. A wide variety of beef, poultry, and other meat are regularly rotated throughout the dining area, by staff who act as carvers at your table. The word rodizio in Brazil actually means "rotation." Here's how it works: a meat server staff member, known as a "gaucho," will walk up to your table with a particular type of meat, and ask you if you would like a piece of that meat. If you reply, yes they will carve a piece from the larger cut of meat for you. These meats are hot, fresh from the kitchen, and ready to serve. This is how traditional Brazilian barbecues historically often work, in country. A carnivore's delight. The whole process is managed at table with a wooden peg/coaster, which is red on one end and green on the other. If the green side is up, that means the table wants to be served meats. On the other hand, if the red side is up, that means the table does not want to be served at that time. This is an immersive dining experience and very participatory. I find that it fosters conversation at the table with people you are attending with, and the entire restaurant is lively and vibrant. It is an experience that I highly recommend and always look forward to visiting.
