This is absolutely a five-star dining experience from start to finish. Make sure you set an a ocean front booth, stunning views up and down the Pompano Beach and Pier. My daughter and I started with grilled artichoke hearts with a Remoulade dipping sauce and sweet potato fries with a chipotle ranch absolutely to die for. She got the salmon entrée and I got the shrimp and grits. The cedar plank salmon was delicious don't miss the kale salad as a side. The shrimp and grits was Cajun style and hands-down the best I've ever had, this dish is stunningly delicious and honestly quite epic. I am a foodie of the highest order and for me to make this statement carries a lot of weight. My brother is a seafood chef and I come from a family of foodies that are all excellent cooks in their own right. I'm a local from Boca I know the food in this area and this is one of the best dining experience as you can have especially when you take into account the incredible waterfront view on the beach. And now to the desert LOL, we got the bread pudding with Berry sauce and vanilla ice cream. This is definitely the best bread pudding I've ever ate in my life and one of the top three desserts I've eaten all time, the berry sauce was lightly sweet and tart With plenty of real raspberry blackberry flavors and matched perfectly with the vanilla bread pudding and vanilla ice cream. The bread pudding did not have raisins or walnuts in it, and didn't need it, it was big moist and the perfect ending to a perfect meal. In town for work and only had 1 evening to spend at the beach. The views were spectacular and the service was fine, nothing to complain about there. I ordered a mango margarita, which was excellent. I was very excited to see tuna poke on the menu, but now I sit in my hotel room with an upset stomach and can't get the taste out of my mouth of the tuna. Have had much better! Eh...so this place is great if you come to get a few drinks and maybe some apps or a burger but it's not a fine dining place, it's kind of like a Sysco supplied restaurant. We came here tonight for the second time, and got a great table out on the lower deck. My wife got the fish special which was snapper with crap meat and lobster ginger sauce which tasted neither of lobster or ginger. It was $46, had no flavor, and the fish was under cooked. I got the strip steak special which was like $40 or something. I ordered it medium but it was so fatty I couldn't figure out if it was medium or not. The flavor was however really good, but it was squishy and not really enjoyable to eat. I probably should've sent it back but I really didn't have the energy to do so. My daughter got the turkey club and fries and it was fine. When the check comes they do this cute thing where they just show you the bills total on a hand held device and have you tip right there while they hold it. Personally I think that is really tacky, and I much prefer the old fashioned check in a book thing. She did get 20% because the service is great, but dont come here for good food. Went yesterday with a friend for a late lunch (2:30pm), it was busy but many seats available. I believe they have their grand opening on Saturday. I wish South Florida would have more places like this, the views are amazing, and if you get a chance try the second floor. The décor will draw your attention. At some point I thought most of the greenery inside was fake... well it wasn't. Had some drinks, and I can only hope for a happy hour to open in this place so I can go more often. I checked on some Yelp reviews and they recommended the chicken cordon blue... and when the waiter also suggested it we both had to try it... the reviews were not wrong. I also tried the ceviche as an appetizer (comes for a martini glass and good for one person), I liked the ceviche specially because they don't add tomatoes or other ingredients that some others do, ceviche is all about the fresh seafood, lime and salt in my opinion, so this one was good. Came here this past January and loved our visit. We came back with some other friends and were treated like trash. We were told to go upstairs to sit outside. I went upstairs and was told by FOUR different employees to ask the host for seating. My response each time was where and who is the host? Each person literally walked away from me. Worst service ever. I normally do not do reviews unless the business is worth rating as a 4 or 5 star review. This was so bad it was worth the post. Awesome addition to Pompano Beach. Beautiful views of the water with open air seating options overlooking the ocean. The decor and ambiance are indicative of chic boho beach vibe. Easy parking with the option to valet or garage across the street. The menu could be a bit stronger, nothing stood out and everything was ordinary. Ok I had to change my review very disappointed My family was visiting here from Michigan and I took them to the beach house thinking it would be a wonderful experience. We walked in and went right to the bar and ordered drinks. The bartender asked my brother if he wanted to open a tab and he said no I'll pay as I go. We were not sure how long we were going to stay there we took our drinks and walked down where the couches are and sat down. Within about 15 minutes a waitress came over greeted us asked us if we need anything and we said no she asked us if we had an open tab and we said no we paid as we go she told us that we could not stay in those seats if we did not have an open tab. We still had at least half of our drink left! We were in complete shock it was about 1 o'clock in the afternoon it wasn't busy there was nobody waiting and the most important piece was we were still drinking our first drink and had been there at 15 minutes at the most. There was no signage saying we couldn't sit there or for a limited time when we walked up to the bar the bartender never told us that we had to keep an open tab imagine our shock and dismay and embarrassment for myself who lives here. Oh and three mixed drinks and a beer worry about $60 amazing how that wasn't enough to be able to sit on the couch and finish our drinks I will never go there again and I have told at least 25 people about this I will continue to share that information it was disgusting JESSICA if you are serious with your response... leave me your contact information. A simple clean feel with beautiful views, even on a rainy day. Our waitress was great, friendly and always making sure everything was ok without being around too much. We had a great server named Matt -we were out on the patio great night it was the harvest Moon of September 14. Matt was an exceptional waiter always ready to please- we put in our order which was by the way phenomenal /I ordered the chicken cordon bleu and the hamburger was amazing. We had ordered as a starter "the clams with the white wine sauce-andouille sausage dish", However the entrées came out and the clams had not so we told Matt who was thoroughly apologetic about that occurring and my glass of wine was on the house. He then proceeded to have the manager Vinny come out and apologize for the same, wow talk about a wow factorthat's what the restaurant culture should speak to- so we are going to be going back to that outstanding experience many many times. Vinny the manager offered us slice of their award-winning Keylime pie which we certainly did not say no to. The food is definitely a 4 stars. However, they remain under staffed, so that is why I was tempted to give them 3 stars. Our waitress was actually super nice, even having to deal with a difficult client that was sitting with us and keeping her smile. I do feel that they need more wait staff for the amount of clients they have, but that is not her fault. The decor and atmosphere are great, indoors and outdoors. It's a great addition to Pompano beach. Also a delicious option to grab a bite and bring it to the beach. We tried the chicken kale salad, the cheddar grits, the crab cake, the grilled artichoke, the sliders, the cheeseburger, the cordon bleu sandwich, the peanut ginger slaw, the chicken tenders kid meal and my favourite, the green goddess sandwich. Everything surpassed our expectations. To be fair, I thought this place would be a tourist trap with mediocre food, but it's definitely not.
