Our waitress was very nice, continuously coming back throughout our time to check if anything is needed. I had gotten the cilantro key lime chicken and it was delicious. The size of the chicken they give you is very generous and the fries it came with were salted great and tasted amazing. The outside seating was great. Beach House is a beautiful setting right on the beach with fantastic food and great service. 5 star ambience: the setting is beautiful right on the ocean with plate glass windows for a wraparound view. Outside it's a rejuvenated area of Pompano rebuilt in the last decade or so. There's a crowded parking deck, but also valet parking for this cluster of restaurants. 5 star service: Megan our server was excellent. She was friendly and sweet, plus it had recently been her birthday ( we were there for mine). No one asked and I kinda hate the sparkling cupcake sorta stuff, but Megan brought one, which was sweet and thoughtful. 5 star food: kale and chicken salad was also fantastic. Ok, so we're in Florida at moment and we wanted to visit a nice restaurant. I will admit, I am quite spoiled with Northern fare but I have an open mind everywhere I go. Today I went to the Beach House. We were hungry. The fresh oysters were actually pretty good. The chicken wings were tasty and warm. The honey bbq sauce was good. The blue cheese authentic. My in-laws got sandwiches, which seemed pretty decent considering that they ate most of their food. I tried the mac and cheese. It was ok. Nothing special. I had 2 mojitos because the first one was watery and I wanted to make sure I wasn't just an alky but both were bla. This leads me to the burger and service. My husband ordered a burger. Nothing fancy, he asked for it to be plain with cheese, medium rare. Normally, I really wouldn't care but it was mostly the response that got me. I told the waiter that the burger was cooked well done, he said, "I see that, I didn't make it, what would you like me to do?" I said what I hate to say, can I see your manager. She came, she said let me get you another burger and brought out the same, well done burger, again. So don't ask for medium rare. The manager never came back to check on us again after. I heard they do things differently down here in Florida. I get better service at Outback. I don't mind bad service as much if the food is spot on but messing up the food and being dismissive is a red for me. Lastly, it's loud in there. If you're looking for a fake pre-club, pre-party scene this is the place for you. The view of the beach is nice. I would not recommend this place for a true foody. The vibes are immaculate, the views are one of a kind and most importantly the food is bomb. Location is great , the ambiance is phenomenal and service is up to par. You can have a really good experience here at what ever occasion. Inside seating is cool and still get to enjoy the ocean views but out door seating is where it's at. I mean why are you in the beach if can't enjoy the sweet ocean breeze right? I do have to say that the coleslaw I had here was the best I ever tasted. We made a reservation for a Friday evening and were offered immediate seating on their downstairs outdoor patio or wait for an upstairs booth for 45 min. We came here twice with friends - the ambience is very laid back/beach vibes. We ordered from their brunch menu & had the French toast + salmon Benedict which were both very good and quite filling. For appetizers we had the tuna stack and it was large enough to share. A friend of ours ordered the artichoke appetizer but it was difficult to eat because it was hard to chew. It is located in vibrant downtown by the beach hence the name. There is outdoor seating and the restaurant is open window (the only way I can describe it). There is a full bar and a second floor which can be reserved for private parties (that evening there was a wedding reception). We shared a hummus appetizer which was very good. The view of the ocean is breathtaking, this alone is worth it. Food is on the pricey side but quite good and considering the location, it is worth it. I recommend asking for an upstairs table to get the best view. I removed one star because service is always an issue. During lunch time we had our host forget about us, he cleaned the table but then did not come get us, so we seated ourself after 5 minutes waiting. For that same lunch, our waiter was nowhere to be seen and it took a while for the food to come. We were not in a rush so it was fine but definitely too slow. Another time we went with friends, one of the guests did not get their food. As the table was done eating, he told the waiter to cancel the order. While the waiter apologized, I think it would have been nice for the waiter to offer the food to go or perhaps offer something on the house like a desert or pay for the drinks. Because going to a restaurant and not getting your food served is unacceptable. Overall it's a good place but don't expect the best service. read more

I can't believe it took me so long to try out this restaurant. The view first of all is amazing. The food is also excellent. I got the shrimp tacos and I asked for them to be lettuce wrapped and they were so good. I even made my own version of them at home the day after because I liked them that much. They were kid friendly and they had an elevator in the restaurant so that someone with a stroller or wheelchair could get up to the top floor. I definitely recommend eating on the top floor because the view is fabulous. read more

Such a nice spot right on the beach. No pictures because we sat outside and it was dark. The food was absolutely delicious. I got their famous BGR salad, and it was one of the better salads I've had. We went for my mom's birthday and she went with the burger, which she said was really good. My husband got the key lime cilantro chicken and the sauce that came with it was delicious. We ended off the meal with the white chocolate bread pudding, it was delicious. Be aware everything here is ala carte. The burger didn't come with a side. We were asked if we wanted ice cream with the bread pudding, which was an additional $6. We went in knowing these things but it is important to know beforehand. The service was also a bit slow, as was the restaurant. We had a reservation and it still took 20 minutes for our table to be cleared, and they were fairly quiet. Also, the prices are pretty high, but that can be expected by the beach. It's definitely a good spot right on the beach. It would be beautiful during the day! read more

Our dinner at the Beach House Pompano was excellent! First let's start with the ambiance, it is incredible. We ate upstairs and were sat in our own booth with a direct view of the beach and ocean.
