I can't believe it took me so long to try out this restaurant. The view first of all is amazing. The food is also excellent. I got the shrimp tacos and I asked for them to be lettuce wrapped and they were so good. I even made my own version of them at home the day after because I liked them that much. They were kid friendly and they had an elevator in the restaurant so that someone with a stroller or wheelchair could get up to the top floor. I definitely recommend eating on the top floor because the view is fabulous. read more

Such a nice spot right on the beach. No pictures because we sat outside and it was dark. The food was absolutely delicious. I got their famous BGR salad, and it was one of the better salads I've had. We went for my mom's birthday and she went with the burger, which she said was really good. My husband got the key lime cilantro chicken and the sauce that came with it was delicious. We ended off the meal with the white chocolate bread pudding, it was delicious. Be aware everything here is ala carte. The burger didn't come with a side. We were asked if we wanted ice cream with the bread pudding, which was an additional $6. We went in knowing these things but it is important to know beforehand. The service was also a bit slow, as was the restaurant. We had a reservation and it still took 20 minutes for our table to be cleared, and they were fairly quiet. A really nice spot with great service and a great view! (I think you need a reservation if you want the nice tables out on the deck overlooking the beach). The clams were really good, and the sauce was light and refreshing. I thought it would get too heavy after eating a few but that wasn't the case at all. I thought the smoked trout dip was okay though. Way too salty for my taste, but also not enough pita bread if you just put a reasonable dollop of dip on it. Our dinner at the Beach House Pompano was excellent! First let's start with the ambiance, it is incredible. We ate upstairs and were sat in our own booth with a direct view of the beach and ocean. It was quiet and wonderful. If you are looking for a little more noise, you can sit closer to the bar and still get the same views! Now for the food. My wife had the beet salad and she loved it! TL;DR: a bit pricey but great food that actually matches its price point. Some dishes on the salty side. Parking: street side, no private lot. Atmosphere: casual but feels on the formal end. Service: wait to be seated, you will be watered, food brought to you, check brought to you. Kid friendly: high chairs available upon request, single paper menu with crayons. Menu: short and to the point with no photos. Things are a bit pricey but the level of presentation and taste with each dish is spot on. Drinks: you can ask for light syrup in mixed drinks if you don't want it too sweet. Smoked Trout Dip: the dip itself has really small thin bones (edible) and is really salty. Definitely something you cannot eat by itself -- you NEED that pita bread. That being said, it tastes really good with the pita but there isn't enough pita bread (at least for my group of 5), we had a lot of dip left and not enough bread. Walk the Cedar Plank Salmon: comes with a generous helping of kale salad that is mixed with lots of Parmesan cheese and sprinkled with what looks like crouton bits -- there was too much Parmesan in my opinion, which made the salad a bit too salty. The salmon was extremely tasty. You can have it cooked to your liking -- I chose Medium Well and it was divine. The sauce on top was not too overpowering and gave the salmon a nice flavor and slight tang. I also enjoyed the crispiness of the grilled portion of the salmon. read more

The drinks here are INCREDIBLE and the views of the beach are stunning. They have these beautiful large curved booths that face the ocean and the restaurant is two stories. There was a wait for the booth, so we sat at the bar for a few drinks first. We went for brunch and there was a fairly limited brunch menu, but their typical lunch menu also had pleasantly of great options. Normally a beach front restaurant is on the pricier side, but I would say that there were options for all budgets which was pleasantly surprising and the portions for food were also excellent. Went here today for lunch and sat at the first floor bar. We did bottomless mimosas and it's such a great price. I have the coconut mojito and it was also very good. Ordered coconut shrimp sushi and it was excellent as a starter. For lunch we did the tuna sushi and the Krab sushi along with the grilled Caesar with blackened shrimp. Everything was very good. We chose to dine on the second floor and the views did not disappoint. It was a clear day and the ocean and beach were a perfect setting for dinner. For drinks my wife and I had the white and red sangria. Both were done but I preferred the more spritzy flavor of the white sangria. She had the punaluu beach fish which tasted very fresh. I had the pecan crusted trout. The pecan crust added an excellent texture and the citrus-Chardonnay sauce really brought the dish together. The only down side was there wasn't enough of the sauce. Amazing views of pompano beach. They have two floors with the top floor having their booths facing the views. The only air conditioning floor is the first floor. We went to beach house on the last day of our family vacation. Getting sat was a little confusing but it was worth it for the amazing view we had! I had the special which was a chimichurri steak and the whole plate was inhaled. Whatever the potatoes were, i'd eat them 1000x over again. My mom was so excited for the hot dog and was shocked when it came out.. pictures don't even do it justice but she said it was just what she wanted, a GOOD hot dog.
