If you're looking for a non-Italian deli sandwich, this is the only place to come in a 50-mile radius (besides other Beach Huts). I don't know what Kristi H is talking about here - what the heck is a "real deli"? I can't find it in Websters. Everything here, from the beer selection to the ambiance and the owner, Troy, is fantastic. I'd give more stars if I could. I highly recommend the Surfin' Bird & Santa Cruz sandwiches. read more

This place definitely deserves a solid 4 stars! I've been to other Beach Hut's but I have to say this location is the best. I love the chill vibe from the moment you walk in. They have a very good beer selection on Tap and in bottles which I was pleasantly surprised to see. My daughter was craving a BLT so that's what sparked our visit for dinner. I decided just a regular BLT wasn't going to cut it so I added avocados, cream cheese, red onions and Tabasco (because they didn't have Sriracha). It was delicious!!! I ordered the small and I could barely eat half. Portions are huge! Everything was super fresh looking and tasting. The only thing I would change was the bacon was too salty. Even my daughter said the same thing and she loves bacon more than me. I would definitely come back when I'm craving a sandwich! read more

By far my favorite location! Great sandwiches, great selection of beers on tap, and ever better service. I highly recommend stopping by!

We recently did a very large order from this location. Nothing about our order was done correctly. We requested that the sandwiches be cut and wrapped individually due to covid restrictions. We confirmed that this could be done MULTIPLE times. When we went to pick up our order, the entire cut sandwich was wrapped rather than each individually piece of the cut sandwich like we requested. When we pointed this out the lady did offer to re-wrap each sandwich properly, but by that point we had people arriving within a half an hour and did not have time to wait for the job to be redone. THEN, when we got back home, we cut them up to put them in individual ziplock bags ourselves only to find that yet another mistake was made. We asked for the classic package and we received the specialty package. When we called to speak to someone regarding everything that was wrong with our order (which was literally everything), we were advised that a manager would give us a call back and we may receive a refund. To this day we have not gotten a call back from anyone and it has been almost 2 1/2 weeks. This is completely unacceptable customer service. read more

I miss you Beach Hut. You were the original and the first "adult" sandwich I ever had. The Surfin Pig or the Santa Cruz are my favorites. You want meat? Ron Swanson would be in heaven with a sandwich from Beach Hut. I love the portions, although sometimes I had to step back and think DAMN I am paying over $20 for two sandwiches and drinks. But it's okay, because it's worth it. Much nicer girls at this location too. The one by the Galleria they are constantly playing with their hair and then making sandwiches. The original Beach Hut deli is a Granite Bay kid's favorite nostalgic spot! Check out their walls FULL of photos of staff, friends, customers, parties, families, etc. Everyone is smiling and having a good time. In junior high and high school I used to love coming here for their delicious Marley Nachos and Surfin Bird sandwich. When I turned 21, Hawk Shots were a must!! Beach Hut deli is so successful because of the awesome owners, staff, and ambiance. When they added on the second room about 5 years ago (complete with a bar and two pool tables and TVs) I was so impressed. Not only is this a great lunch or pre-lake spot, but now its great to come for after work beers and pool. I highly recommend any Beach Hut Deli location! read more

Ordered ahead and came after the pickup window and they hadn't even started my order and I waited another 20 minutes.

I just tried to get a sandwich, but the women making my sandwich decide in the middle of making it to go help the women at register. Which normally is all good but after touching the register with her gloved hands, and being right next to three people with out mask leaning over the countertop she just went back to making my sandwich without putting new gloves on or washing her hands. I just left at that point because it was clear to me that they do not follow health and safety guidelines. read more

Every time I come here I have the worst experience. Now they charged for each sandwich way more than what the menu says I ordered three sandwiches norma size smalll sandwiches they charge my card $70 and they tipped themselves also with my card. um I picked up my order I did not sit down to eat and have a waitress serve me. I called ordered picked it up and it on my card I didn't even sign anything didn't even realize cuz it's so loud in there and you're too worried of socializing with others and not listening to what I I was trying to ask him how much was my order but don't worry it's all done here you go . I didn't even realize that I paid $70 for 3 small sandwiches and a tip that I did not authorized for the girl to charge on my Visa card. That is just crazy. going there tomorrow right when they open and requesting my money back or I'm reporting it to fraud and whatever else I need to report it too star rating and give it a zero nothing this is not the first time I've had a bad experience with them I thought I'd try them out again and they fails. i will never go there again read more

Been here dozens of times and just now getting to a review. The staff is awesome, the beers are great, and the atmosphere is fun. How many other sandwich places have shuffle board and pool tables? Best sandwich I have ever had!!! I had just the turkey and cheese with the added vinegar and Brussels sprouts, so amazing! I ordered a whole sandwich and definitely would of been ok with a half. I saved the other half and it was just as good the next day. The environment was super upbeat and made me feel like I was in a little surf town. The outdoor area was super cool. Great food. Try the Super Bird. One of the best sandwiches and bring some friends. Lots of food!!! Staff is a little slow, so keep that in kind. Stopped here as we began our 10 plus hour journey home after the holidays. Wanting something good but fast we stopped at Beach Hut Deli. Ordered a nine inch sandwich and it was $13.75. It took them over 40 to make us one sandwich and their place wasn't crowded or anything. Beach hut is my favorite spot to grab a sandwich or beer in the entire area. They have a huge selection of great, reasonably priced food and drinks that I can enjoy on a regular basis. Pavlina, Kristen, and Alyse were the only three girls working in the store this Thursday; up to their eyeballs in orders, they worked double time to get my food and everyone else's food out in a timely fashion. They were quick to comply with all of the customers requests, even though they were working so hard. The service at beach hut is always amazing, but these three girls really went above and beyond and deserve to be recognized for their hard work. All in all, beach hut is a great place to eat at any time and they always have a great staff on hand. But, if you have any of those three girls working while your in, get ready for great service and even greater food. read more

I like beer and sports and food loaded with meat & toasted cheese. You would think this place would be a slamdunk. Having never been before, I found the sandwiches, conceptually, awesome. I would've enjoyed mine more if my bread was closer to toasted than charred. My beer, which I had to make an additional request for after ordering, tasted alot like Budweiser even though I ordered a Longboard. To sum it up, food good. Lots of loud televisions showing sports and a very "irie" decor. I wouldn't mind paying the prices they charge if it was all being served to me by competent people who are a bit more customer-service savvy. read more

I'm kind of fed up with the Douglas Blvd Beach Hut Deli! The El Dorado Hills location also has a thumbs down. The restaurants have a very lively, fun atmosphere and great music. However, I think the workers are more focused on the social aspect than the reason they are there-to prepare the food on time and with care. Here's why I am giving only 2 stars- EVERYtime I call in an order or even order at the counter it is never ready at the time they say it is going to be. Today I called in my Mesa salad order ahead of time at the Douglas Blvd location because I was on a tight schedule. I knew I would have just so much time to eat my salad in the restaurant. It was 2:30pm, way past the lunch rush. The gal who took my phone order said it would be 15 minutes. She seemed very friendly on the phone as all of the employees there are nice. When I showed up 15 minutes later she said, "Oh, it's not ready yet, but we're working on it." (In other words we forgot about it and we're just starting to make it now) I waited another 15 minutes before it was ready. Then I only had 10 minutes to eat the salad and didn't have time to finish it as I had to leave right at 3:10pm. It was pretty good as usual, but this time they badly burnt the bacon on the Mesa salad. Some of it was actually black. I would have sent it back, but since they took so long to make the order I had run out of time. I dumped it in the garbage as I had no way of keeping it cold. I left in a hurry as I have done before because the orders are never ready in a timely manner. I'm all for having fun at work, but pay attention to your job! The El Dorado Hills location is actually worse about timely orders. A few weeks ago I took my son for a haircut next door to Beach Hut Deli at Great Clips. They were very busy so it was a 45 minute wait. We thought is was perfect because we would have time to have lunch at Beach Hut Deli. Well, guess how long it took to make a salad and a sandwich? 45 minutes! We were really hungry and neither one of us had time to eat our lunch as we were being called for our hair cuts. We placed the order at 1:15 PM and it wasn't ready until 2 PM. That is absolutely ridiculous! We took the orders to go and it was about 3:30 PM before we had lunch that day. This time I thought I would write a review in hopes the manager or owner sees it. They really need to train the employees there to better respect other people's time! I won't be going to either location there again anytime soon unless I have to and there are no other choices. read more

At one time the best sandwiches in the world now not any better then the chain sandwich spots and you will pay more. So sad, I'm a OG beach House guy and they have went down hill, not saying the food isent good it's just not up to what we had before the franchise started getting big. It is a fun chill spot if you doesn't know the awesomeness they once where. The prices wouldn't be completely out of the world if they made the sandwich that made them famous. I can get by the dirty kitchen and workers caring about the music more the the customer or the food being over priced or the TV set on a talk show or the sandwich having no cheese or the bread being crumbly but when you get all of those at one time it sucks to pay out the ass. My first and last experience! It not only took 25 minutes to make a Cobb Salad, they also don't listen. I asked for no onions, peppers or tomatoes. Obviously no supervision. And we are going to have pay lazy workers $15.00 an hour. You can have your business of lazy HS kids. read more

How did I ever forget how amazingly good Beach Hut sandwiches are? I remember hitting up Beach Hut in high school, but haven't really popped in since. I love beach hut deli. I love the expansion of the restaurant in the last few years. Best overpriced sandwiches in town. The girls working here are hit and miss with service. They take a really long time on orders, in between chatting(mostly gossiping) with regulars and friends that slow them down at the counter. All in all I love the food.
