SMALL Margherita pizza with cauliflower crust
    Vera W.

Beach Pizza in Manhattan Beach is definitely a local favorite. Even with the mix of reviews it gets, I think it's worth checking out if you're craving good pizza near the beach. They have plenty of specialty pizza selections on the menu, plus the option to build your own. You can choose from regular crust, gluten-free crust, or what might be the best cauliflower crust around. One of my favorite specialty options is the Del Ray -- a great twist on a basic vegetarian pizza with sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic, and Parmesan eggplant adds a really nice flavor. The dining area is small, but honestly that's part of the charm. It's easy to grab your pizza to go and walk a few steps to the beach to enjoy it while watching the sunset. The staff is also very friendly, which makes the experience even better. Definitely a solid spot if you're in Manhattan Beach and want pizza with a beachside vibe.

    Large Buffalo and BBQ Wings

Wanted a quick bite before a night out in Manhattan Beach. Came across this pizzeria that had real nice beach vibes! Upon arrival we were greeted by Cynthia who had exemplary customer service! She gave us a real good suggestion for pizza that gave us a bang for our buck. The pizza was very delicious, in which all the toppings were savory. Every bite you could tasted the mozzarella cheese that was complemented with the BBQ sauce the purple onions, pineapple and chicken blended well together! Although the wings weren't as big as I liked, it was pretty hot and spicy! Thank so much for the extra ranch. Cynthia made our experience in the whole in the wall gem, definitely will be returning soon!

    Meat Lovers Pizza

I had pizza delivered from here for a work meeting. We got the Meat Lovers and the Pesto Chicken Hero Pizza and they were okay. Your standard pizza quality, but they could've done more with the crusts like making them salty and buttery, they just felt like plain mouth fulls of bread. The chicken wings were pretty good though, crispy, meaty, and had nice flavor. The garlic knots were a bit disappointing, they felt like crusts. Nothing flavor or texture wise made them great. The salad was the saddest thing the though, it felt like school cafeteria quality salad. No fresh or homemade dressing, just dressing from a pack you would find at a regular cafeteria. It was also hard to eat since they were big pieces of lettuce. Would've been nice if they were chopped up more. Also, they didn't give us plates, napkins, or utensils? It would've been sad if we didn't have any on hand.

My friends and I were recommended this spot by another friend, and it certainly did not disappoint. We were able to try out their Dine LA menu, and everything about this experience wowed us all. From the moment we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the hostess, who went out of her way to move some reservations around to better seat our party (we had 3 people but were only able to book a reservation for 2). I really appreciated this gesture, as well as the friendly and attentive service we received throughout the evening. We were seated on their beautiful outdoor patio, though it seems like you can't go wrong with either indoor or outdoor seating. Now, onto the FOOD: Caesar Salad: 5/5 Damn, I really wish all Caesar Salads could taste like this. Fresh, crunchy romaine drizzled with a spicy Caesar dressing and topped with toasted breadcrumbs - simple, but done very well. I really liked how tangy the dressing was! Chicken Parm: 5/5 First of all, can we take a moment to appreciate the massive portion? The chicken cutlet was perfectly breaded and fried, and the crispy exterior was nicely contrasted by the velvety, decadent vodka sauce and generous layer of melted cheese. I couldn't finish it all and had to take some of it home, which ended up being a delicious meal the next day. Meyer Lemon Pie: 4/5 I love pie, I love lemons, and I love lemon pie done well. The tartness of the Meyer lemons really shone and cut through the sweetness to create a perfectly balanced dessert. The dollop of whipped cream on top definitely tasted like it was freshly whipped in-house. Although the whipped cream tasted a tad bit salty, I still enjoyed and devoured it all. I just wish the portion were a little bigger since it was so yummy! Parking: There is a small parking lot out front, though it seems to fill up quickly in the evenings/on the weekends. Thankfully, we were able to find street parking pretty easily. My friends and I all raved about our experience here, especially for the $45 Dine LA price tag. I can't wait to come back!

This is a great place to meet a friend for a chat. The vibe is good, and it's a nice, open place, and it's not too noisy. The food is delicious, and it's presented in a most excellent fashion. I'd say that's the way to go if you wanna' just snack, sample, and share. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. The Garlic Bread ($9) was delicious, with a perfect combination of cheese, herbs, and sauce. The Garozzo's of Kansas City Sausage ($19) was flavorful and satisfying, served with roasted peppers, onions, and polenta. The Roasted Beets with Chicken ($21) was beautifully presented and tasted fresh and great. The highlight of the meal was the Lasagna ($29)--rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. To finish our lunch, we shared the Tiramisu ($15), which was the perfect ending. The service was outstanding. Our server was friendly and attentive. During our conversation, we learned that the owner also operates Slay Steak + Fish House and a French restaurant.
