Dough is always fresh, mozzarella cheese is good quality. Wings and salad along with their italian/vinaigrette is good too. Been coming here since 1992 when we used to live in Redondo. We live a little bit further but when in Manhattan/Hermosa, we try to grab a bite here. Everyone at the restaurant are customer service oriented, super friendly and nice. We come back every year to year and a half and Beach pizza NEVER disappoints. We've been to the Westchester location too. It is also very good. Just okay pizza! I'm from New Jersey so "beach pizza" is a little different to me. I got a pepperoni slice and it was a decent size. The service was not super friendly and the vibe of the restaurant is very minimal. Just a few tables inside. Overall, not a bad choice if you're really craving a slice near the beach, but definitely not the best pizza I've ever had in LA. I also wish they had more options by the slice - they only had plain and pepperoni when I stopped by. read more

I called to place an order for delivery and they stated they don't have delivery today. STRIKE 1! Then I placed an order to make sure it goes over $40?to redeem coupon for $5.00. They said they couldn't apply. STRIKE 2! Based of their advertisement I ordered the Absolute amazing Mozzarella sticks (noted on menu) and they were just ok! I was craving pizza one night and got the Vege-terranean (what a cute name). I was excited because a topping on it is eggplant and I love eggplant. My fiancé and I traveled from Chicago to LA and reached LA around 10pm and by the time we reached our hotel, it was almost 11pm. The delivery took around 45minutes and when we got the pizza, it smelled so good( could be be ause I was hungry?). We opened the box and it looked really good specially because I loved olives as you can in the picture. The pizza was was good, not too thin not too thick And taste was really good. I felt like ai had been craving for this type of pizza for so long because Chicago pizzas are totally different from this style of pizza, you cannot find this appropriate crust there. Román was busy with a customer so I introduced myself to him after he was done. I ordered my pizza and he was super attentive and asked me if I wanted something to drink. I don't like pop so he displayed the other options to me: Snapple, water, and cerveza. I then said and asked him "you have beer but no wine?" (I did that nicely so calmados). He replied "why yes!" Found this little hole in the wall by sheer luck.. parking in this area can be a challenge. Today took the first parking spot I came across.. just so happened to be across from this pizza place.. the ocean air was mixed with the smell of marinara and pizza crust. I ordered a meatball hero.. full size around $8.. trust me get the full size cuz you may think you will take the other half with you but if will be soooooo good you'll tell yourself "just one more bite" & before you know it... there's no more sandwich in front of you!! The meatball is tender.. the marinara is perfectly blended with Italian spices.. the roll... crispy on the outside, soft on the inside..& let's talk cheesy... gooey stringy.. everything a meatball hero should be! i ordered an XLg Florentine pizza yesterday, I paid additional for mushrooms and black olives to be added. Some slices had just one piece of chicken on it, some slices had none. couldn't tell if there was any mushrooms on the pizza. Everything else was chopped miniscule. Pizza craving, anyone? After a long day on the beach, it's sometimes hard to motivate to make dinner or even to go out, so Beach Pizza to the rescue! Especially if you stay a few blocks away from this location as my family often does when we visit Manhattan Beach. Beach Pizza may have a small storefront and dine-in area, but they are great with both take-out and delivery. The pizza will not be the best you've ever had, but it's pretty damn good and they have *almost* every topping (regular or gourmet) that you can imagine. I personally love that they offer eggplant as an option although we tend to do half cheese / half pepperoni in my family. There's also plenty of other options on the menu from sandwiches and salads to pasta dishes, wings, fries, drinks, desserts and more. The only thing we've ordered that was not a hit was the side of meatballs, so I'd caution about going in that direction. You can't go wrong with pizza and salad though. I caved. I even indulged in an entire large to myself. Eight slices? Is that enough? That fresh, hot, pepperoni pizza was made with love I tell yuh. I absolutely love eating wings but I have to say these were some trash ass wings. We got the mild sauce for the wings ON THE SIDE... can you guess what is sitting under the wings and even under the celery sticks??? Pile of oil. I am writing this review in advance of my trip tomorrow and my 20th year eating Beach Pizza. The quality is excellent and the staff is great. Great sauce freshly made dough and toppings of your choice NY style. Everybody who works here is enthusiastic and customer focused . The only issue is the outdated telecom system which means on a busy nite you'll hear "please hold" If these guys ever upgrade their telecom their business would go up 20%!! read more
