The staff waiver between friendly and helpful ( eg: dude with the black wool hat with the pen stuck in it ) to vague and aloof ( girl barista ) It's forgivable as it's just opened so everyone's finding their feet but a little more hustle would help. The prices are regular for a cafe, not tried any food here so can't comment on that. The space is open and roomy, great if you have stroller, wheelchair, cart etc. Also there is a variety of seating/ standing options. That is a great idea! The cashier was absolutely rude to the customer. Every time my friend and I walked in and grab a coffee before we go to work, she always ask "are you going to eat here? Our policy is no outside food" Because she see we carry a take out paper bag(we bought breakfast to office). That's very annoying. I won't go to this place anymore. read more

Tried their Jamaican Blue Mountain since there aren't that many places that do pour over, or do Jamaican since it is the "king" of coffee, and wow, what a great experience it was. It tasted just about great! I would love to try the other pour overs, too. Definitely recommending it to my coffee lover friends! read more

This place is so great. First off the the seating and open space is fantastic. Everytime I go to the bean or starbucks I feel like I am being closed in and claustrophobic. This place has so much seating with an industrail decor. Second off the prices I though were very comparable to the bigger chains, I got a match green tea latte and a bagel w cream cheese for $7. The internet is fast and I did not have a problem finding an outlet. I know finding an outlet at La columb is impossible I don't even think they have any. Plus the staff was very friendly. Really enjoyed the vibes in this coffee shop! Lots of tables (though it gets super packed on the weekends) to study. Free WiFi which is ALWAYS a plus. Electrical plugs are a little sparse, so I would definitely come in with a fully charged laptop if you're planning to stay a while. I also really enjoyed the music selection! Great study music, pretty mellow, not too distracting. I also really liked my cappuccino! Although, I'm not sure if I really got a good caffeine kick out of it. I come here to work very often. They have a nice vibe, relatively quite working environment (with exposed brick, high ceilings, wooden tables, open floor plan, many high windows which let in a lot of light, etc.) There's something about their floor plan that let's the mind wander and creativity flow. Their coffee is quite good and uses all organic beans. I'm especially partial to their drip coffee, matcha tea, and pumpkin spice lattes. Internet is fast, and the baristas are friendly. When I first walked in, I was surprised by the amount of space this location had. I was please to see a high ceiling and an open space. It's not like the small coffee shops that I often find. There seemed to be a lot of seating too. I mean, not available at the moment I went, but there. I couldn't speak to outlets for computers/chargers because I didn't need one. I ordered a honey latte and it hit the spot! I was impressed with the open space and there were a bunch of tables. It's not the best place to study since there are windows everywhere you turn, so privacy might be an issue. Like the other user mentioned, the internet can be glitchy sometimes and it would frequently disconnect. The time I was there, I think they kept on burning their toast, so it would consistently smell like burnt ashes. Overall, their drinks were good. All it is are beans in a predilection container...not hard to add extra beans to the grind. I ask her if she could just pour much less water which she agrees to. This is a really nice, very open coffee shop. I appreciate a good cup of coffee, and ORGANIC at that :) I've only been here a few times but all three have exceeded my expectations in a coffee shop. The tea selection is pretty nice, and their coffee is delicious. It's definitely fresh - they only brew their coffee a few days within grounding the beans. I had their gluten free coffee cake - I am typically cautious of trying any gluten free baked good but it was so good! Pairs nicely with the coffee. I also love the fact that the space is very big. A nice little coffee shop in Chelsea that isn't a chain, and doesn't feel like one. The interior is modern, and the service is friendly and freakishly fast. The coffee drinks, particularly the iced chai latte, speak for themselves, but the other elements of this place that they nail means that they won't have to. For those in the area for the upright citizens brigade, which I often find myself here for, it should be noted that this coffee shop has alcohol. The bars by the UCB theatre are a bit sparse, at least by the "stones throw away" definition.
