    Latte with cinnamon
    Noopur D.

The coffee was nothing crazy but the interior was very cute! Love the cozy vibes and we hung around there for a bit and played the table topics games. It's a nice spot and service was good, there was just one barista and she was nice! I wish there were more various types of lattes instead of just adding a flavor to it. I got the latte with cinnamon, and it was just alright.

We stopped by this place for breakfast one morning during the Dreamforce event. The place was crowded (likely due to the event) and therefore service was a little slow. I ordered a Latte and a Bacon & Egg breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was very small .....for how much it cost it seemed a little out of proportion. The sandwich was fine, but nothing special. If I am being honest, this is not the pace to come for food....but the latte was nice and tasty treat. The actual place was small and woudl be a great place for one to hang out and drink coffee at a less busy time.

Bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and a vanilla latte

Stopped by here Sunday morning and got a vanilla latte and bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Latte was good but I was kind of disappointed by the sandwich. It was premade and came out of a plastic wrapped bag and heated up in the toaster. Was not freshly made and also pretty small for $8. The employee working was nice but I could tell she was overwhelmed. It was only her working so she had to work the register, make drinks and food all by herself. Please hire more staff so your employees are not so stressed!! There was a long line and orders were taking awhile to come out. This inside of the cafe is cute, decent amount of seating and books/games available to play. This cafe is located inside a hotel so it's convenient for people who are staying here. I don't think I'd return but glad I tried it out!

The atmosphere is very cute and calming. Small and limited seating but overall comfy vibes. Ordered a bagel and croissant both were very good just a tad expensive but to be expected with a small coffee shop. The coffee was good, nothing too special but good. The lady at the front seemed rushed but still took time to get our order correct.

Good place to chill and work, have a coffee or snack. But please don't order the "muffuletta" sandwich. Something tasted funny. I'm not eating this. I managed the bread, but I'm fearful about the bites I already took.

This coffee shop is located directly below the hotel. There's plenty of books and board games available for customers, which I thought was a nice touch and feature for customers. Their cold brew was pretty standard and perfect for a hot or 70+ degrees SF day. I also enjoyed their breakfast sandwich. I had the sausage, egg and cheese. The perfect pick you up as you check out of the hotel. My only gripe was timing. Not too sure if they are equipped to make everything on their menu under 15 minutes. It took quite a while to make the breakfast sandwich. Other than someone sitting down (who had already gotten their coffee) I was the only person in the shop. There were also two people working there, so you would think with the 2:1 employee:customer ratio, the service would be a lot quicker.

So it's not technically a small business coffee shop by the way - owned by and attached to a Hilton hotel. That being said, the coffee and espresso is good and there's a great selection of beverages. Average baked goods and mini quiches.

Located in the former Funny Library Coffee shop, Bean Bar Café is the new coffee shop at the Canopy by Hilton. Their cold brew is fantastic. The barista didn't know where it's from, so I'll report back later - but it seems to come premade from a third party vendor. They have both regular cold brew and nitro available. Main downside is fairly high prices, even for SF - my cold brew was $6. I live nearby, so I'm excited to have a new coffee shop. See menu photo, attached.

My espresso was good. The baileys latte my wife ordered, she wasn't a fan of it, she didn't finish it. My son got an $8.00 cranberry juice which was outrageous for a 16 ounce or so cranberry juice. We ordered food, which we thought was going to be made. It was premade food in wrappers that was just tossed in the microwave. Service was good. She was quick for being by herself. The store itself was cool, books and stuff as its decor. I don't think we'd eat here again.

I went here in the morning to get a drink and I LOVE this place! The barista was super nice when I asked her for recommendations. There's also a lot of seating, with a longer table and smaller tables with pillows for getting coffee with a friend. There are also OUTLETS everywhere which is so convenient for studying or doing work in general. I love the natural lighting and options for seating. A cafe gem!

Cute café attached to the hotel we are staying at. We went here our first morning for breakfast. The food is tasty and made to order. I really liked my Decaf Latte with Almond Milk and a shot of Dark Chocolate. I went back the next morning and the girl remembered my order, which was nice. There's lots of books and games for customers to use while there.

The only thing break bar has going is the ambiance. The coffee ended up being a one sip, then tossed.

So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

We chose this large city location thanks to easy parking and a convenient stop on our drive. It was a beautiful morning, which was easy to enjoy thanks to the high ceilings, big glass windows, and open main door. The first floor has a central counter to order food and drinks; the glass cabinet has a bunch of rotating pastries from a local bakery. They have restrooms and a merchandise area here too. At the front are counter seats along the front window, and also a horseshoe that looks into the roasting area, which is a great place to smell the beans. There's an upstairs loft that overlooks the cafe below, also with a test kitchen area and offices across to the front. They definitely have a larger business going on, and I can see why it's so popular. We ordered a latte, iced coffee, and various pastries to start our day. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Whether you are in the mood for a katsu sando, curry over rice, ochazuke with their matcha twist, or something sweet like the matcha cream pie, it is hard to go wrong here. All of the savory dishes I have tried have been great, but the fish katsu sando is one of my absolute favorites. The huge fish fillets are perfectly fried and flaky, tucked inside pillowy shokupan and topped with tangy yuzu shio koji sauce, tomato spread, and fresh crunchy cabbage. Every component works together beautifully, with richness, brightness, and texture all in balance. The pork katsu curry over rice is another standout. The katsu comes sliced into thick pieces that are still juicy inside, and it is fried expertly so the breading stays attached as you eat it. The curry has a really balanced flavor, even if I would not mind a little more spice, while the pickled radishes provide a nice contrast. I always add an onsen egg (for an additional $2) because breaking the runny yolk and mixing it into the curry adds another layer of velvety richness and creaminess. You can also tell they use high-quality matcha in their drinks, so the beverage menu is really more about choosing what fits your mood that day vs avoiding any bad options. Stonemill Matcha is a great option for a grabbing a drink on the go, a full blown sit down meal, a quick dessert stop or all of the above!
