Great place for gourmet or regular pizza. I especially love the cheap movie tickets, beer selection, and occassional concert in this venue. I've never had to wait for a table, though I always have to wait in line for a while to see a movie or a show. My only complaint is that the menu is kind of limited to wraps, salads, and pizza. I wish they had sandwiches or a few dinner entrees to choose from, but then again, I usually go here for the pizza! read more

Who doesn't love Bears Tooth? Pizza, beer & movies all in the same place. Pizza is one of a kind and hands down best in Anchorage. Chicken Ranch, Avalanche, Gyro, and the Thai pizza are just a few of my favorites. Side order of ranch is a must, and might as well get a large even if you don't plan to eat that much - cold left overs are some how even better. Unimpressed We rarely come here and by rarely I mean a couple times in 6-7 years. Told we can't order what we want "on this side" but on the other side of the gift shop we can? Great brews, great food, great service. I had the peanut noodles on the recommendation of my server, Jade. She was awesome and took 8 orders perfectly without messing anything up. And it was a great recommendation. I normally dont eat tofu but it was great. I also drank their Apple Ale and Cream Ale. These were both very good. No problems at all. My family and I absolutely love and miss this restaurant location. Great Beer, Best Habanero Bloody Mary (only one I have found so far) and gourmet dishes. It is always packed for a reason and never disappointed. Some favorites were the Bah mi burger, rosemary burger, blackened fish tacos, fish sandwich, rice with cilantro and black beans. Kids loved the potato burrito, and their brunch was great also. We are back in lower 48 and the restaurants here just are not as good as BearTooth. Highest recommendation! First time I've been here and it was a fun experience! You pay for your movie, then you stand in line and order food. We ordered popcorn, drinks, two different kinds of nachos, and a pepperoni Pizza. All the food was amazing! Then you pick a table to sit in and watch your movie and staff brings you your food when it's ready. I personally don't go to the movies nor like it but this was DEFINITLY fun and a fun place to take the kids! Staff was friendly and very helpful with first time customers. Every person we spoke to was more than willing to help. The movie was really cute for the kids. I would DEFINITELY reccomend this. Think of it as an inside drive-in movie! SO FUN! This place has had it's ups and downs food wise, but over the last few years, it's gotten really good. The last several times I've eaten here, the grill has absolutely knocked it out of the park with food, drinks, and service. My last visit was a week or two ago. Somehow, it wasn't very busy when I arrived, and I was seated promptly. My friend joined me shortly after, and we ordered shortly after. Our waiter was exceptionally personable (when I ran into him a few days later at Middle Way, we greeted each other with smiles and waves). All of the food that we got was delicious (we shared the chips and 3 salsa appetizer, I got the calabacita tacos, and my friend got the cod [I think] sandwich). I got a margarita, and my friend got a beer. THEIR MARGARITAS ARE STRONG. Like, really strong. We ended up taking up our table for a really long time so that I could be sober enough to leave (and we went on a walk after that to make doubly sure that I could drive!) The waiter was really gracious about it. Their food is good and while I find some of their items a little higher priced than I think they should be, they are pretty reasonable. I think that it goes without saying now that their margaritas are a good value. My share of the bill was just over $20, and for that, I gorged myself and got really drunk. I haven't been to the pub side in a while. I've gotten some poor service there over the years, but haven't been there recently enough to give it an accurate review. The theater concept is awesome. Based on the Yelp reviews I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The local beer selection was excellent and the menu was diverse. I arrived at approx 6:30 and they had a full house but I was seated right away. I ordered fish n chips and a Pipeline stout. Both were excellent. We found ourselves walking through the theater (I put 'theatre', but I get the red line of death under the word) section to find out the different types of movies playing. Wait! A bit surprised since we were a table away from the bar. Well, I ordered the Miso Salmon, just because I enjoy salmon so much. The plating looked delicious and savoring to the taste. But wait a second. After a few forks poking at my salmon, I discover the inside slightly under-cooked. I've eaten under-cooked salmon, and it didn't look that under. Great food and a relaxed atmosphere. We ate on the movies side, but the resturantn side looked very nice. I fell in love with the poster art. Do you like contemporary art? There are TWO menus here - Theater side and restaurant side. The theater side caters more toward the pizzas which are probably the best we have in AK! The restaurant side has some awesome dishes. Love this place :) the bar is available right inside the theatre, the food comes right to your seat. The chairs are spaced out nicely. And the movie selections are usually great! My husband and I just ate there last night, and it was SO AWESOME! The service was quite excellent, the food was AH-mazing, and the atmosphere was fun yet not too loud. I had the seafood chowder to start and it was perfection. The flavors were great with a light smoky flavor, pepper, salt and subtle salmon and halibut flavors in a well-blended, cream-based broth. My chicken and mushroom fettuccini in Marsala sauce was dreamy. And my husband's pork loin with roasted apple slices, baked Mac and Cheese on the side, and steamed kale with a nice buttery drizzle, was a perfect blend of slightly sweet and savory, combined. Ate there today and saw a good movie. Great place but beware. The parking lot is not a safe place after dark where there is bad lighting. Several cars had their Windows broken and this is not untypical. Do not leave valuables in your car and be careful where you park. Love love love! Being vegan isn't always easy in Ak--- and this place has a multitude of options that you can customize. The blackened tofu tacos are positively amazing. The entire experience is wonderful. For the actual theater I always like getting a booth (which are much roomer than for just 2 or 4 people) and enjoy whatever show or movie is playing. Great for kids as well. The bistro/and theatre pub outside he theaters are great to go to solo. Always specials, good beers and nice cocktails. I personally think the pizza is a bit different than at Mooses Tooth (can't put my finger on why)--- so if you are on a mission for pizza only I would likely go there instead. read more
