One of this place's sister restaurants, Moose Tooth, had a 45-min wait on a random early-June Monday night; Bear Tooth had a 20-minute wait. These were recommended by the staff at REI nearby (with lengthy debate about which was better), and we see why. We did not go to the Theater part. Bear Tooth is probably a bit more 'upscale' with less of an immediately-obviously kid-friendly menu (Bear Tooth doesn't have Pizza, which --from the windows looking in-- was the main draw for Moose Tooth). But the food was really nice - one of the best burgers I've had in a long time; perfectly flamed, hot, and I don't eat beef very often (it's from a local ranch, too). My tween son agreed about his. A Spinach & strawberries salad was nicely (lightly) dressed (I hate it when fresh greens are swamped/dripping!) with a multi-seed balsamic vinagrette, and I had to fight my tween daughter for it. Knowledgable staff and informative menu regarding allergies; kids' menu is available but standard. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Anchorage, so I came here with my friends, and we enjoyed it, when you are going to try visiting Bear Tooth Theatre Pub, visit them on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night it was a blast. They have a delicious mixed drinks and a lot of flavorful food to offer. Their staffs are so friendly, skillful & we seated quickly. They did not disappoint us, we also tried the theatre and try some pizza and also nachos it was so good together with our drinks, it was perfect. read more

Relatively fast service Great pizza and beer, should have bigger dining area though bc when there's people with family's or kids they're loud and crying and running around disturbing everyone else/ and bc this place is more hipster oriented obviously the parents don't do anything about the misbehaving kids so everyone else has to suffer for their life choices and poor parenting skills...it would be a much better experience e if there was a separate sections for family's/kids and regular diners read more

3.5 A great alternative to the long waits at moose's tooth. The interior isn't very nice, but I think they're in the process of updating. Parking situation is ridiculous and is pretty dangerous in the winter with the high snow banks. The line for paying/picking up to go orders is very unorganized and bleeds into the movie line, which also bleeds into the line to buy tickets. If you haven't been here many times before, it's hectic and difficult to know where you should be standing for what. read more

Best movie theater in the world. I've been to movie houses that offer more than standard concessions fare in other cities, but the Bear Tooth beats them all. Food so good that I don't even care what's on the screen; I'll watch any movie if I can have a Bear Tooth pizza or burrito in front of me. Definitely order the Caramel Turtle Fudge Ice Cream Pie. Ask for it when you place your dinner order; by the time you're done eating dinner it will have thawed enough to enjoy. read more

Bummed that they took away the Tuna Tostada's. Those were awesome. They replaced it with shrimp, wasn't that impressed with them. The menu is kinda "up in the air" for me - there are times where I want everything on the menu & there are times when absolutely nothing inspires me. And now they've taken away my go-to meal!!! Argh. The Basil Crush is probably the best drink I've come across in a long time. I gulped down 4 in one seating & could've easily taken down 4 more. read more

Though overflow parking is often needed, Beartooth is always an enjoyable time. I like sitting adjacent to bar side because the wait is typically less. I like how the two sides have a slight difference in menu. And the theatre itself is a treat. To dine with food and beverage is complete with a cone of brought to service. Love the Bear Tooth. Great movie, enjoyed with a glass of wine or house brew, and absolutely the best pizza in Anchorage. How can it get better than this? I'll be back, and back, and back again. My family and I have been going to Bears Tooth for quite some time now and we love their food and that you can get a great meal while you watch a cheap movie. They've made a couple mistakes when picking up food to go, but when we call they always offer us at least one meal free, or something to compensate. read more

This is the place to go. cheap cheap movies just as they're coming out of theatres AS you eat pizza, yummm!! and I would disagree with another poster, I LOVE the chicken bomber. but get there early for the films, there is always a line. read more

Great local brew pub. A setting for many different tastes and styles of food all in one building. Can be crowded, but worth the wait. A more diverse menu than Moose's Tooth Broken Tooth brewing is putting out some good products. Tap list could be more diverse. read more

Talk about an all-around date night! Moose's tooth pizza, broken tooth beers, and either retro or current films. Be sure to get there early though. I would suggest ordering right before entering the theater. read more
