We were pretty hungry by the time we were seated but when we finally got our food I realized it was worth the wait. I had the Southwest Daddy bowl which seemed pretty basic but I have to say that it was the most delicious meal I had the entire trip. Everything was so flavorful and blended really well. So if you check in for breakfast and there is a line, I do recommend you walk the block to their newly opened bakery for tea and share a bite from this bakery if the wait is over 1hr. They'll txt you when your table is ready. You have 7min to make it to the restaurant once they alert your table is ready. The bakery is 3 min from the restaurant. The back patio was closed so the wait was a little longer but the venue is beautiful. There is bar, indoor booth, indoor table, outdoor tables and upstairs outdoor seating. Pets allowed on patio We came for breakfast and it was delicious. I had a breakfast main & two drinks for about $55. A nice portion size and the walk to the stadium for the game was about 15 min so we got to walk off some of what we ate. Highly recommend. Great for parties of 2-5. read more

Unfortunately, we had to sit outside in the hot summer New Orleans heat to wait for our table. The water they had for people was warm because it was out in the heat, but at least it was something. I ordered the crab dip (gluten free) and scallops and grits (available gluten free) and they were both delicious. I had a mocha for my drink and I highly recommend it as well. Our server, Jess, was also very accommodating and very kind. Someone told her they didn't like their meal and she kindly comped it. Lightly seasoned...they were good. First time eating bison and it was good. I can't wait to try a bison burger. Potato were slightly over salted for my taste but were super crispy. I visited here for the first time on Saturday afternoon. I found parking a few blocks away off the street. The parking price wasn't unreasonable. I was told that they don't typically take reservations and so quests could end up waiting a while to be seated. So I'd recommend keeping that in mind. I really enjoyed them. My boyfriend got the crab scramble, which he also enjoyed. There was a good amount of crab. The star of both meals though, were the potatoes. In my boyfriend's words "they were delicious." After tasting them, I would've ordered a batch to go if we had time.
