Always love coming here for a sweet treat especially after stopping by Chongqing House for a spicy meal. The store is always cozy and clean. Service always very friendly, even though sometimes you need to wait a few minutes for them to fill your cream puffs. But it is definitely worth the wait. Love the combo of chocolate puff with matcha cream filling. Price is very reasonable. I look forward to trying their specialty flavors like ube next time I come back!

Stopped by here for Elite event and got one regular and one strawberry cream puff with matcha filling. These cream puffs are a nice choice of dessert, easy to eat and tasteful! The worker was very kind, while I was waiting for my turn, he made sure to let me know that he'll be right with me. The indoor is clean, spacious and has a little booth selling cute goodies!

The pastry wasn't as soft as I expected - it was more flaky and a bit crunchy. But the filling inside was light and sweet, which balanced it out nicely. I tried the s'mores pastry with chocolate filling and the ube pastry with vanilla filling. Both were tasty, and it was fun trying something new. Overall, I enjoyed it!

Consistent with other locations I have been too ..this place provided freshly made items at a reasonable price ..quick friendly service chocolate with vanilla filling tasted great ...recommended

Cute little place with a unique vibe. I tried a few different flavors. Tasty pillows packed with flavorful cream. I would totally recommend trying.

Cute little shop with tasty dessert! They have a lot of flavors of shell and fillings that you can customize. Shells have a nice crunch but still soft and filled with a generous amount of light, smooth, flavorful cream. We got Oreo with vanilla filling, original, and matcha with matcha filling. My favorite was the matcha. Came on a weekday night and it was empty. Service was quick & friendly. This location is readily accessible. It's right off the highway in a strip mall with ample parking lot.

My favorite cream puffs! I love the coffee puff with Vietnamese coffee filling ($4.20 including tax), but you can mix and match from their many puff and filling options. They fill the cream puffs to order, so the puff is always fresh and crispy. The cafe area is cute with a few counter /bar stool seats. Service is friendly, and since there's usually only 1 person working, you'll need to a wait a sec for them to fill your puffs to order. But it's so worth it and always so delicious!

Tried this place for a Yelp event and glad I was able to go! I honestly don't remember the last time I had a cream puff to compare but these were delicious! I really really liked the Ube cream puff with vanilla filling. It was light and not too sweet which I appreciated. They have a ton of flavor options so if you like really sweet then they have something for you as well!

Super cute cream puff shop. In love that they keep things simple and fresh. Super tasty cream puffs. Service is friendly and a tad slow but they have a help wanted sign. Hopefully they can get some help soon. If they were really busy it would get kind of rough. I wasnt mad at waiting a few minutes. It was totally fine.

Came into the store on a Sunday evening and it was quiet. There is bar-top seating in a small area of about 4 seats but otherwise no other seating or restroom. Most people opted to grab and go. I picked the regular matcha cream puff but there are many options. It took about 5-10 minutes for one to be made. Some options were not available anymore like ice cream style. However, they did have others such as chocolate, vanilla, ube, and others. I think people who enjoy pies would like this and the cream puff filling is very much like a light pudding. It's a good size - about 5" and you can probably share with a frien

Limited selection however extremely delicious eclairs and filled doughnuts. Prompt and fast service with a smile and proper recommendations. Small, however, very comfortable on the inside. Getting, make an order and you are out on your way. Thank you.

I've been to several BPs around the west coast but never seen one this sparsely decorated. I've seen some of the old pics and the countertop display case was missing. Looks like a going-out-of-business sale. I bought the mixed 6-pack. The plane with vanilla filling was good. The puff was crispy and the cream was fluffy and light. I hope they stay open.

Been to many beard papa's but first time to this location. Decided to get the mini cream puffs. The display was't filled up will all the flavors like other locations normally do. The cream puff has that nice crunch I'm familiar with but felt that they didn't put enough filling. Small location with no seating other than the bench, the rest is just standing table against the walls.

An absolute gem in Richardson -- we'll definitely be back!…read more La Casita Bakeshop completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming, and our server Diana made the whole experience. She was knowledgeable, genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, and so pleasant to talk to -- exactly the kind of hospitality that turns a good meal into a great one. The food itself was outstanding. We ordered the French Toast and the Birria Brisket Croque Madame, and both were incredible -- beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The Croque Madame especially blew us away; it's the kind of dish you think about after you leave. The side hash rounded it all out perfectly. And then there are the pastries. We grabbed the Mango Sticky Rice Cream Puff and the Amaretto Cherry Basque Cheesecake Brownie from the Weekend Selections -- both were stunning, not just visually but in flavor. The cheesecake brownie topped with those cherry meringues looked almost too good to eat. Almost. Washed everything down with the Salted Honey Matcha and it was the perfect companion to the whole spread. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing -- the menu is so creative and well thought-out that we already have a list of things we want to try next time. And there will be a next time. La Casita has earned a regular customer. Highly, highly recommend.

While the food itself was definitely good, the front-end operations were incredibly poor, and the service left a lot to be desired. The serving staff seemed completely untrained and lacked basic common sense, right down to knowing how to properly handle plates and utensils. To make matters worse, we encountered the shift manager, Jesus, on Sunday, May 24th. Not only was he arrogant, but he completely lacked Customer Service 101 skills. At one point, he told us the wait time would be an hour, yet there were four completely empty tables inside and servers were just standing around idle. He is clearly an inexperienced restaurant manager who does not know how to efficiently run a floor or manage a team. A major caution for potential guests ordering takeout: The staff has absolutely no clue how to properly pack food. They packed runny eggs into a standard cardboard box, which inevitably leaked right through the holes and made a massive mess everywhere (see attached picture). On top of that, for a bakery and coffee spot, they didn't even carry basic options like 2% or Lactaid milk. My humble suggestion to the owners is to invest some serious time and guidance into improving your front-of-house operations and management training. The kitchen is doing its part, but the front-end experience and sloppy packaging are dragging the whole establishment down.

Located among the shops and bars of historic downtown sits 1418 Coffee, a cute and genuinely great little shop that fits the area perfectly. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.

The baristas are all super friendly and were happy to answer all my questions. It's also super cozy with dim lighting, and the music isn't super overpowering or loud. There's mostly comfy couches but also a few tables and high top seating. Just a little chilly, so I'd recommend bringing a jacket. I was able to comfortably complete some work on my laptop, with working wifi. There were also people here socializing in the morning. They no longer serve breakfast tacos, so I opted for a bacon cheddar scone at one visit and a lemon blueberry scone on another. They were both delicious! The baristas told me that their chai leans toward the sweeter side versus the spicier side, so I opted for an iced sugar-free vanilla latte, which was not overly sweet. I also tried the beez neez (latte with honey and cinammon) another time and enjoyed it! They offer 2% milk, which I don't always find at coffee shops. Since it's in downtown Plano, there's street parking, which wasn't difficult for me since I came at 8 AM. I believe there are parking garages located nearby. Overall, I've greatly enjoyed 1418 Coffee and will most definitely be visiting more throughout this month while I'm working in the area!

The typical bakeries in this area (Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen etc) are often chains, and focus on soft breads such as donuts and cakes, with the token boring croissant, and the Asian bakeries (also chains) offer a completely different style of breads, so to finally come across a place with innovative crisp laminated pastries is a treat! Note - they do not sell breads. I visited on a Friday morning around 8am and although there were only two people ahead of me in line, they were already out of almond croissants and I took the last sausage roll on display (but the bakers were probably baking more). There was a continuous flow of people in and out. The location is definitely set up to be a to-go place and NOT somewhere you come to sit and eat. No ambiance. No need to bring the friends and family, just send someone to buy a box of treats and enjoy at home. Being in a strip-mall complex, parking is easy.
