I had my eyebrows done by Tina last week and I am very happy with it. I was very skeptical about permanent make up prior to meeting Tina. She was very patient and explained the three techniques for eyebrows. I was instantly relieved and felt safe because she was very competent and well versed with all three techniques. Tina explained that she will combine the hairstroke and airbrush technique to fill in all the gaps in between my eyebrows. Just like she said, my eyebrows peeled off nicely after 5 days and I have received a lot of compliments. I will be going back in for a touch up in about three weeks and I was told that I do not need to pay for it. Overall, I am very happy with the service and how my eyebrows turned out. Loved it! Went to Nancy for my first brazilllian ever. Disclaimer.. It hurt ... but Nancy made the experience comfortable and fast. She made me feel very comfortable, was super friendly and for the first time I don't think it could gone better. It's hard being that free in front of a stranger but from the beginning she was welcoming; texted me confirming my appointment was booked, the day of to remind me and when I showed up 45 min early and she took me right away! I came here for lashes and I found them through groupon, and I can say I got a good deal because my lashes lasted a lot longer than usual. I had went to a place precocious and it did not even last two weeks. So when I came into Beatrice salon I asked the lady but a little bit fuller because I wanted it to last longer. At first I was pretty overwhelmed with the amount of lashes, but I did ask for them to be pretty full. Within about three days, some had fallen and it looked perfect! Some fall out everyday but it just looks more and more natural. I would recommend this place, and especially for the reasonable pricing for lashes. Don't expect full stellar customer service and a full on consultation, however I was able to get my point across clearly. Highly recommend for lash extensions! read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my sister-in-law, Cherie Mc, who is visiting from Texas. She comes to see me twice a year and has gotten her eyebrows done by Tina for the last four years. She makes sure to get her eyebrows done once a year while she is here. Tina always squeezes her in on short notice and always does an amazing job! I bought a groupon for permanent lip makeup but it had expired by a week. I booked my appt after numerous text messages with Tina. She was very sweet and informative. When I arrived I was greeted nicely, Tina did a small consultation letting me know what she advised and what would be best for my lip shape. She strongly recommended a natural color which is what I was wanting. She numbed my lips with a topical for an hour and I felt no pain! When she thought I was feeling it she made sure to stop and numb me some more which I appreciated. She was very clean. She showed me the brand new needle right out of the package and wore gloves the whole time. She told me I can text or call anytime with questions and sent me off with a bag of stuff to care for my lips. This was a great experience and I will for sure be back. I would give zero star if I could. bought groupon deal $59 for full set of lash extension. yes, 'full set'. But the lady was telling me that the groupon deal is not for the full set although it says full set... ....? Basically she was telling me that I have to pay extra $20 to get the full set. Groupon is wrong. and kept askig me very agressively, "So do you want it or not?". And she also tried to get me return my groupon and get better deal from her. The whole thing was a total disaster, and her thick accent made everything worse. I ended up paying extra $20 more for the 'actual' full set. Whatever, I could not deal with this bs anymore. The procedure takes more than an hour and you need to have your eyes closed during the procedure. I wanted to relax during the procedure but did not happen since she was on the phone in her language during the procedure.. so annoying.. After the procedure, i paid the extra 20 dollars with my hundred dollar bill. And I got my change with bunch of 5 dollar bills. I guess she was passively asking for tips in five dollar bills. I told her this is too many 5dollar bills. (my change was 80dollars) And she started talking to her co-workers in her own language and threw 20dollar bills to the table. Yes she was talking in her language that I do not understand and thew the money at me. Very rude. Oh and my lashes starting to fall off already. It's been 2 days since the procedure. read more

If I could turn back time I would have NEVER walk into this place. What I thought would be a pleasant eyelash extension experience turns out to be one of the most painful experience next to being stung by man-o-wars. Tina had Phoung (last name unknown she wouldn't disclose it) do my lashes. They used SCOTCH TAPE instead of padding to separate lower lashes from the top. And more SCOTCH TAPE lifting my lids!! Why?! I'm part Asian, do I want anything that'll screw w my eye bags and cause more wrinkles? NO!! Can u imagine them coming off?! (I have viewed several YouTube segments on extensions and spoke w friends about this) So I said to phoung that I thought normally pads are used and she said, "tape more better". To make a long story short. My inner lash line and lids have never been brushed so hard by a bristled brush. Why did she have to touch the skin there it's so sensitive let alone brushed over and over. The tweezers were even touching my lash line skin. I was literally tearing when I left 2 hours later. Tears, puffiness, and 2 hour tape marks! Tina later called to apologize and "fix" my lashes cuz there was also some spacing. But really, I was not about to have anyone especially at that establishment touch my eyes again! I asked her for a picture of the license of Phoung and her "establishment". And she said she will not be in town for a week and that everyone is licensed. I texted her to please prove it and I'll be happy w that. And that was it no response, nothin. I mean, she just asked me to go back and fix things but why not just send me a picture of the licenses??!! I later researched and found they are NOT LICENSED. It has expired 3/31/2005!! Steer away! I bought a groupon for lash extensions and figured this would be the perfect time to try them out for the first time. Darlene was able to schedule me for the same day I called in but that's about the only good thing I got out of this experience. I told her that it was my first time with extensions and she didn't offer any advice or give me any information on the process or what lash options there were; I was practically pulling answers out of her. Not only was she extremely rough with the application, (used scotch tape to tape my eyelids which was super uncomfortable and didn't seem like proper procedure) but she also rushed through the process. Laying down for 1.5 was obviously uncomfortable but she kept having someone come in and out as she was working which slowed down the process because they kept conversation while I was laying there. The worst part was that since she didn't tell me what she was doing, she took it upon herself to put ALCOHOL on my eye lashes to wipe away any remaining mascara and it burned/irritated my eyes. At the end of it (by this time I just wanted to leave asap)my eye lashes were longer yes, but really, it wasn't that dramatic of a difference. Honesty, for the price and how little care they have for their customers I had to write a review and warn others in case they are considering going here for eye lash extensions. I strongly urge you girls to go somewhere else! read more

It started innocent enough. I bought a Groupon for permanent eyeliner, and had no problems scheduling an appointment. Tina was GREAT! When I went to my appointment, I was thinking of having some microblading done on my eyebrows. Tina showed me how she could improve what I currently had (delicately!:)). I loved her look! I ended up having eyeliner, mIcroblading, and lips done. What a difference! I look younger, and even my hair stylist has commented on how perfect my permanent makeup looks. In addition, as a nurse, I was looking out for cleanliness, and her shop and technique was perfect. I am now 4 weeks out from my services, and no problems. Tina will do a great job! Great place to get your eyebrows tattooed. I have very thin and fair eye brows, and doing my eyebrows in the morning was getting too tedious. I came here twice already and they always do an amazing job. The tattooing is semi permanent, so it fades in about 6-8 months. I liked the semi- permanent tattooing cause it looks more natural, and not harsh like a real tattoo. The tattooing itself is a fairly long process, about 30 min - 1 hr. They put some numbing cream on your brows so you don't feel the needle so much, but it still hurts, but the pain is bare able. Once you are done, the brows are dark and harsh, but in about 3 days they start peeling and getting lighter and more natural. You can always go back in for a touch up if you want them darker, but after a week of healing they are perfect. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking to get your eyebrows tattooed. I always get compliments, and when I tell people they are tattooed they don't believe me. #eyebrowsonpoint read more

Had the worst experience here ever. I made and appointment a week in advance to get my eyelashes done. Night before my appointment received a text from Darlene confirming the time for the appointment. Getting to my appointment I wasn't greeted nicely or barely at all. Stated that I have an appointment with Darlene and right away was told to "have a seat" ten minutes past and I inquired the where about of Darlene; "is she here? I have been waiting for 10 minutes" no answer... Maybe it's just me but when running a business some sort communication should be verbalized to a paying customer. Moving on 15 mins past at this point I am OVER it!!! What is going on. One of the other employees saw it all over my face and went to inquire of "Darlene's" location. They exchanged words in Vietnamese. Not knowing what was truly exchanged. The other employee shrugged her shoulders and sucked her teeth and that was that. So to you who is going by "Darlene" you shouldn't work in customer service because you lack the basic knowledge of communication and assisting of customers. In other words you SUCK!!! Find yourself another profession. You don't even deserve a star!!! You deserve a cloud for making my day miserable. After waiting 32 minutes to be exact for your unprofessional lack of service, I left unhappy and unsatisfied. Another salon will get my money! Not you, not today or ever. Had my eyebrows done with Tina today as a retouch and I have to say, amazing work as always. Tina takes her time and makes sure the brows are aligned correctly. She shows great patience and professionalism. And I have to mention her new numbing gel is a winner for the brows!! She recommends you come to your appointment a little early to set the numbing gel on. I have to say I was impressed! There of course was still a bit of pain but the numbing gel definitely helped. I also had a pedicure done here at the salon and it was done very well. I recommend the Salon and Tina for any permanent makeup procedure. I'll be back in another 6-8 months for any needed retouch. Eyelash only. I got the Groupon for eye lash and had them done in July. So this may be outdated review. She is very sweet and really trying to make you look pretty but at that time she lacked experience and it took 2 hr for the set. Also the eyes were taped with medical tape and it was very painful and red when the tape was peeled off at the end. Also she said that the lashes were mink but it is hard to believe it was true. They started falling out the next day and were very heavy and very stiff to the touch like wires. The total time they lasted was about 2-3 weeks. So do them at your own risk. read more

Just like most nail salons, it takes a while to figure out how the real inner workings of an establishment work. Basically, this place has been a hit or miss for me. Some days I come and I find the pedi's and manicure's to be done great. Other times, I feel rushed, like people are talking smack, and spontaneous "hush hush" price changes behind consumers and the worker's backs. This kind of thing really makes me feel uncomfortable. I might come back every once in a while for waxing my eye brows..because that's one thing that's been consistently good but everything else can be taken care of elsewhere.............where though is what I'm still striving to find out. read more

Both my cousins ranted and raved about this place. Bein the frugal person I am you want me to drive allllll the way to Campbell AND pay more than I usually do?! ehhh .. I dunno. BUT since my cousin kept goin on about this place I figured .. why not? The first time we went (a few weeks ago) - they didnt have any openings. Well it WAS late on a saturday evening .. so thats understandable. So this past Friday afternoon my cousin yet again convinces me to go get a pedi. Being that Happy Nails (oh! best believe i shall be reviewing them in a moment!) scrubbed my ankle so hard the last time my skin felt like beef jerky ... i felt it was time to splurge a little to try and get my footwork lookin right for summer. We called first to see if they had openings and they did. When we get there I tell the lady what happened at Happy Nails and she nodded. I pick out my color and she gets to work. Then she asks me if I would like the scrub for $5 more (on top of a mediocre pedi that runs $20). *sigh ... Sure, why not I'm already here. I had been needing a fill for sometime now and I didnt know when I would be able to make it to see my regular nail tech, so I asked if I could just get a whole new set of nails as well ($20 for acrylic / $25 gel). After I was done with my pedi (and she burned me TWICE with scalding hot water then rinsed me off with ice cold water, then proceeded to paint my skin as well as my toenails) - the woman grabs my slippers and TOSSES them toward a nail station. Then she tells me to put vaseline on my rough patch at night. (duh I knew that) No "okay you're done!" or anything .. she just walks away. So I walk over to the nail station and the older lady begins to work on my nails. The reason why I'm very particular about new people doin my nails is because my nails are VERY hard to work with. I wasn't trying to be a nagging customer but I pointed out that she had glued a lot of the tips on crooked. She said she would fix it ... I reminded her 3 times in the nicest way possible but she said there was nothing wrong with it. SMH ... My nails are STILL crooked but what the heck .. its just for two weeks. Then when I went to pay ... my cousin showed me the brochure and it said that the scrub is supposed to be included with the spa pedi (which is what I got). I pointed it out to the woman and she looked at me like I was a liar. She said .. thats only when the owner is here. So I took it as .. they over charge when shes not there so they can pocket the rest? I paid and I left .. NO TIP. Needless to say ... I will NOT be goin back. It's just another typical vietnamese nail shop masquerading as a wannabe high end spa. I refuse to drive further and pay more for somethin that comes a dime a dozen. read more
