I was originally very happy with my backyard landscaping however have had some issues with a side gate that they put in and did not do a good job with. It is not secured very well and i have contacted them on many occasions asking for it to be fixed. There were initially Covid issues which was understandable and I have been very patient but at this point is has been about 9 months and my gate still is not fixed and I am not receiving any response in regard. I've contacted my rep who was helping and was supposed to fix it two Monday's ago. I also request contact directly through their website and still have not been contacted. Ben and his team were recommended by my pool Contractor. While I will say I'm happy with the paver work they completed they didn't complete the job. We hired beautify to add pavers and build a patio cover in our back yard. Ben created the plans and we agreed to what I thought was a fare cost. From then on trying to reach the owner for additional info or updates on our project was a nightmare. We have been trying to reach him regard the structure build and remaining yard lights (also drawn up in the plan) but he won't return my emails or text. At this point the only thing I can do is hire a new contractor to finish the job...if you're looking for an landscape team I would highly recommend that you look else where! read more

We had a large backyard project to undertake and I opted to higher specialists for building the pool, landscaping/decking and BBQ & fire pit. Within each of those trade groups we interviewed multiple contractors and within the Landscaping & Decking group Beautify LV stood out the most. Ben was very accommodating to our design styles (clean line, easy to maintain and lots of artificial grass). He even competed on and won out business for installing our shellock decking. His crew worked diligently and was on the job site by 8am each day and never left before 6pm. The Beautify team was responsible for irrigation, artificial grass, trees & shrubs, landscape lighting, gravel play pit and matching/extending our paver driveway with a sidewalk around the side of the house where we keep our trash and recycle bins. His crew even took on the responsibility of opening and closing the wall and front/side yard at the beginning and end of the construction project (while the pool was being built). Ben and his crew were also very patient with the delays on the pool construction side of things and when his crew overlapped with another there were no issues at all. We've since hired Ben and his team to maintain our landscaping AND pool moving forward and the price and service offerings were very competitively priced to others when we shopped around. I would highly recommend Ben and the Beautify team for any and all landscaping installation and maintenance as well as pool maintenance. they're experts at their craft, hard working, competitively priced and a pleasure to work with. read more

Ben Johnson, the owner, took personal care of my concerns. I live in Hawaii and can depend on Beautify to keep my pool clean. It's so easy, I receive my invoice electronically and able to pay online. I bought a pool robot and auto fill, great price online where they told me go and they installed it for me. No extra charge :-) Hopefully will use them for my yard maintenance needs too. I don't even know where to start. If I could I would give this company zero stars. I have used this company to do my monthly landscaping for a few years now but the quality of their services and their customer service has just declined. This company failed to maintain the appearance of my landscaping that my HOA said I was in violation and even when I asked Beautify to send someone asap, they gave me the run around. I then told them in December of 2021 that I no longer needed their services and to take me off their list of customers, but they still invoiced me for January 2022. When I called to inform them again that I cancelled, they once again told me they would cancel the invoice link but up to now January 26th, the link is still asking me to pay. This company does not care about their customers. I would discourage anyone who wants to do business with this company. read more

First of all the long time owner retired and that changed the nature of the business. Recently the crew would show up maybe 2 or 3 times per month (maybe) and charge us for a full month. Phone calls and emails are rarely returned. I would not recommend this company. read more

I'm not sure if Beautify is still in business!! Last March (2021) they came out and redid my entire irrigation system - over 900' of new lines and 3 controller boxes. Bob V did a great job. Last month I started to try to get in touch with the company...texting Bob V, calling main number and leaving "please call" messages twice, e-mail to Ben. NO RESPONSE AT ALL! If they are indeed out of business their web pages should note that, if they're still in business I do not recommend them at all due to lack of response to my multiple unreturned contacts. read more

Do not use this company! This company came to my home and did work. They always trim 5 palms and a eucalyptus. This time they trimmed a palm that isn't even on my property and didn't touch the 2 palms on the side of my house or the eucalyptus. When called and questioned about it, Dolores lied and said they have never trimmed those tress. Yet they have always been trimmed becauae my HOA sees those! I have two past invoices that show otherwise! She hung up and was beyond rude when being questioned politely. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else! read more

My mom emailed them because she wanted her bushes trimmed a certain way. They ignored her request and cut off all the flowers on our bushes and lemon tree AGAIN. Anything I have asked, they have done..no problem. They take their time and notice things before I do. By being attentive, they saved a large palm tree from dying. Let's address the real elephant in the room, shall we? All landscape maintenance companies are marginal, at best, and that statement may be too kind for most. It's not the Spring uptick in clientele that makes them bad because it's the same lack of service in the fall/winter months. It's just that during that time of year we all really only need mostly mow & blows. Pretty sure anyone that is reading this review is already nodding their head. This company was no different. Personally walked both properties twice with the foreman, Bob. I was told both times that my concerns would be taken care of. Fast forward one month into their service and nothing but mow & blows for an entire month. He even took pictures for his crew so when they don't perform where is that disrespect?! For Bob, the property or us as clients?!? None of those options gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. It just boils down to this company not having enough time to fit in the workload that they have taken on and they haven't hired any extra workers for the springtime rush. I went round and round on this so many times, not only with Bob but with the owner, Ben, as well. Even though I was told they wanted to make it right for what I already paid them for it just wasn't happening. On our rental, which is the second property, most times they didn't even show up without even a phone call. And just trying to get them to follow through was becoming like a second job for me so I had to let them go! I've attached some photos of a lot of work that didn't get done, or subpar work, and also some tiles that they broke by stepping on them after I asked them not to. I have worked with the team for over ten years on countless projects and have never had an issue. They did a complete overhaul on one of my houses and transformed my "jungle" of weeds and trash into a gorgeous landscaped front and back yard. We literally took out everything added a few paver pads, lots of plants and trees, and a bunch of turf! They showed up early and stayed late for the ten days on that project. Fast forward to now, they have been maintaining my current house since we moved in about 5 years ago. They show up each week, clean up whatever the wind has blown in and keep my pool clean and sparking! Don't waste your time or money hiring this company to maintain your pool. I used them for two months. During that time, they never once added salt to my pool despite the low salt indicator being lit up on the salt cell/chlorine generator. One guy kept texting me that he was going to stop by and add salt multiple times but, never did. I ended up adding all the requisite salt myself which the owner never offered to reimburse me for although "all chemicals are included" in the monthly charge. Ben hires people who haven't got a single clue how pool vacuums, salt cells, pumps and auto-fills work nor do they know how to repair a minor leak in a PVC pipe. They tried but, the leak remained for the entire two months I paid them. On three different occasions, my pool vacuum was left not functioning. Twice, because we had had some high winds and there was a small piece of bark wedged in the gears of the vacuum - which took me two minutes to open up and remove. The third time the pool vacuum was left not working because out of the two pool "techs" who were here - neither could figure out the simple fact that one must prime the pump prior to turning it back on. Three different pool "technicians' came out to my house during those 2 months and I was hoping at least one of them would have a clue about how to operate and maintain my pool, to no avail. They were given a sparkling, clean pool and within two months I had algae growing on the walls of the pool. Hopefully they are better at landscaping than they are with pool cleaning because they certainly don't belong in the pool cleaning business. No offer of refunds nor remedies from the owner but, as you can see from his responses to negative reviews he doesn't deal well with constructive criticism nor customer service. Ben and his beautify crew were great to work with. We got a few bids to landscape our backyard and Ben was the only one who drew up a very detailed plan and gave us a quote in a timely manner. They had to remove trees and pull up turf to set aside. They brought in beautiful plants, large rock, and more turf to create an oasis for my husband and I. We had another contractor for our pool and Beautify's crew went above and beyond to work around them and also do some of their work. I'm a bit disheartened to see negative reviews on this company because I've been using them for well over 1 year now and haven't had any issues. During the first design appointment, I was educated basically on what would look good for my yard. The plan sounded great and the price was decent, so I did it. Just some basic plants, rocks, and LED lighting. The upkeep isn't much of an issue. Jus got to shoot a text to the owner and he will have the guys come out. Make sure to set a schedule so that you have the guys come out and get the fancy sprinkler system setup for each season. Other than that, they are awesome in my opinion. I had beautifylv come out to do some maintenance work along with replacement of some dead bushes. Their work was average. Not amazing, but it got the job done. If this was my only experience with the company I would give them 3.5 or 4 stars. During our discussion the salesman pushed for a maintenance deal, but I wasn't that interested due to an upcoming move, so I brushed it off. I would like to add that no contract was ever discussed, and I never signed anything agreeing to additional work. Over the next couple of months I received a couple of invoices for work, but I ignored them, because nothing grows during the months of October or November in Las Vegas, so I figured it was one of those "here's a quote for work; pay and we'll come out" kind of deals. After I received the second invoice I told them to discontinue, and they said I needed to pay for two instances of work. (I guess we pay people $70 to come out and stare at desert landscaping.) My GF and I both used them for work and are now moving into a larger home with a significantly larger yard, which will require new landscaping. We will not go through this company in the future. read more

None of them were punctual as far as showing up on time for quotes and estimates, except these guys. Owner is knowledgeable. Their price was very reasonable. He listened to what I wanted and didn't try to push me to do more than my budget or needs. Gave great expertise advice about what may work as far as plantation goes. Their crew is friendly and did a very nice job. The after service is also great. We had a few concerns after the install and they were addressed very promptly. We are very happy with how it looks and have had many compliments on our landscaping. Good luck getting him to call you back. The pool guy has no idea what to do since the information has not been passed down to him. This is no way to run a business. I have used Beautify for over a year now. I have my own house and a rental, and they do maintenance on both. I "inherited" them at my current house, as they installed our great backyard with the previous owner, and I am glad I continued their services. Many companies do great work around here, but Beautify goes out of their way to make sure everything goes smooth. When I had a bit too much water in the backyard, they came over and tweaked the sprinkler systems, they put a new lock on my gate so that it was easier for myself and them, recommended a few fixes at my rental house (which worked out great), and clean up after themselves perfectly so I don't worry about a thing. Online payment/receipt is great as landlord for tax purposes. Everything about them is easy, which is what I look for. My neighbors on both sides of me use them as well, which says people like their work! read more

Had them come out for a estimate to replace all sprinkler heads and start monthly maintenance. We agreed on a price and they set the appointment. I took the morning off of work for them, was even taking them to another property to set up having a tree removed. About 9:30 I called to make sure they were coming. The man who did my quote had no memory of setting an appt, proceeded to tell me one of their staff was hurt so I shouldn't expect a appt for 3-4 weeks. When I expressed I took the day off he just said "that's life" in a professional setting no, you make a appt you keep it and not waste everyone's time. I was referred to them from neighbors and a website set up for my neighborhood. I wish I had read the yelp reviews before bc apparently this is how they operate. Called another number and the man said he had 9 crews and would get this resolved and get back to me.... a couple HOURS later he sent a text saying they could do it in the afternoon. At this point I had already left home. I asked him how to resolve it and even though HOURS have passed I have yet to receive a response. This company must be doing so great that they can afford to not take on new business and risk having current customers find out about how flaky they are, after reading the reviews of how mediocre their services, guess I dodged a bullet! read more

I wish I would have looked at Yelp BEFORE we had our backyard done. Our backyard was new so all we had was dirt. We were so excited to get our yard done but the whole process was terrible and we settled with what we ended up with because we were tired of dealing with the company. We agreed on plans and a price estimate but when construction started we saw differences that we did NOT agree too. I spoke with the man in charge and was told that he couldn't change it to the way we wanted but that we would still be happy and he promised it would look nice. Our fence is a brick wall and along that we wanted a one foot wall from the ground to elevate the plants. Instead they put the plants in the ground BEHIND the small wall so you can't even see the plants. Now we have two random "benches". They couldn't figure out how to set our irrigation system so we didn't have water on for TWO WEEKS and the plants died. We didn't get to pick out the rocks or the plants. The pavers we picked were not right as it was the wrong color. I felt that our opinion and vision did not matter. We do not like our back yard but since it was "good enough" we settled and we didn't want to deal with them anymore. Somehow our 7 month old dogs were pulling the 9" nails out that held the turf down...? Please do your research before you choose this company. read more

The owner of this company is absolutely unreliable. He came to my house and gave me a quote. He stated his pool tech would be out in 3 weeks to begin service and I would be contacted by his office and the pool tech prior to service commencing. I was emphatic that I needed a company on point and that the pool requires weekly maintenance, as it is in pristine condition and I do not want that to lapse... I contacted him 3 times because I had not heard from the tech nor his office. I am days away from the scheduled commencement date and called today since I had not heard nor seen anything from his staff, himself, his tech or his office. Today he tells me he can not accommodate me and I need to seek out another pool service company - HENCE LEAVING ME IN A TOTAL BIND TO SCRAMBLE to find someone else. The whole company is unreliable. I am in a bind now, but grateful I know in advance these people are flaky. This is an advance warning to those reading so you dont waste your time and get in a bind also. read more
