Best cafe for breakfast or lunch! I had the special, Cinnamon Swirl French Toast. It was melt in your mouth delicious. Eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. Lived by it for years and never tried it. Came in this morning wanting chicken fried steak or maybe pancakes. I ended up getting both and a side of biscuits and gravy. The pancake was huge, fluffy, thick and delicious, the chicken fried steak was amazing. It was crisp and flavorful. The hashbrowns were fantastic and the biscuit was nice and fluffy. My Bobette loved her waffle as well as her ham steak. The service was great, atmosphere was nice and fitting for a small town breakfast and the price was just right! We dropped in for breakfast on a Wednesday morning about 9:30 or so as we were driving through. This is my second visit to Becca's. They offer a traditional selection of breakfasts that are cooked perfectly! Nothing fancy but the great preparation and flavor will leave you realizing that you don't need anything fancier! I had French toast with two over easy eggs and a sausage link. Each item was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The spice (not hot spicy) of the sausage was a pleasant surprise. Becca's is slightly off the highway and it is now a stop I look forward to when making the Hwy 5 drive! read more

Wow!! Great friendly family cafe!! Seating is family style, nice to meet new people and share a table so we didn't mind. Staff and food was outstanding. We both work for Ritz Carlton so we are hard to impress. We had breakfast, seated quickly but food took some time. We didn't mind because we were casually taking in the atmosphere. Food was totally worth the wait!!! My chicken fried steak was one of the best I've ever had, and I'm from The south, and my boyfriends ham, sausage and bacon were on point (to be specific the way they were cooked and seasoning with a slight char). Becca's is a total gem!! Lot of customers, old customers both in age and in frequency of visiting the restaurant. While the staff is nice, plan on listening to owner's kid yelling "Mom, Mom" every 30 seconds. My food was just okay but my wife's was not cooked much at all, it was almost raw. We would have sent the food back for more cooking but I just could not hear their child any more. I think I would try it again if I didn't have to listen to "mom, mom" so many times. I believe this restaurant has potential if the owners would pay more attention to the food and service rather than their child. Their customers are loyal so I'm not sure they see of feel the need to change the experience. I hope you have a better experience than we did... read more

Nice place, comfy and homey. But i wouldn't order the 'corn beef' for breakfast. As far as I could tell they use a can of corn beef hash from the dollar store. You might like it, but at first I thought they were serving me dog food. Menu says corned beef, not corned beef hash, nor soggy canned corn beef hash I could get from 7-11 or the dollar store. read more

Was in town for business and decided to try this place for a late breakfast since it had some good reviews. It is a true Mom and Pop local shop. Inexpensive menu with solid diner fare. Had a massive three egg breakfast which was solid. Best part was the solid service by the staff especially our waitress who we found out later, was the owner Becca. Becca and Marvin run this solid establishment. I saw her wait tables, do checkout and also cook in the kitchen. This boss is hands on! True down-home cookin. This place is the real deal! Usually have breakfast specials. Nothing fancy, just good food at VERY reasonable prices. No wasteful heaping piles of food but plenty to satisfy. Typical small diner fare. Could use additional servers, at times have to fetch my coffee refills if it gets busy with the one waitress usually on duty, no big deal. If you want to eating in someone's dirty living room, with children running around then this is the place. BUT DO NOT ORDER FOOD COOKED AS YOU WANT IT. They wont do it, in fact they will go out of there way to make sure it's not what you want. When asking for my hash brown well done the owner came out and screamed at me that if I want my hash brown well done I need to go into the kitchen at tell the cook how I want them. this place is filled with religious icons but don't look for christian care of kindness here, it's not on the menu. read more
