Est. 1956- Beeps started off as a small diner, but one wouldn't describe it as such right now. Back when it opened, they served the staples: Sundaes, Malts, Hotdogs, French Fries & Hamburgers. What else was there to eat in the 50's! Nowadays, Beeps calls it's self 'fast food' and the menu has expanded to a large variety of hot and cold sandwiches, Mexican offerings and their 'World Famous Steak Sandwich'. I can vouch for the Reuben Sandwich and the Chili- Cheese Burger, both were good purchases and tasty. Beeps is tiny. There's really only 4 small Booths and a few tables inside (which are all taped up). It's sad to see this little place all closed off inside, but fortunately their window/counter is ideal for the current dining restrictions. The service was good and I was grateful for how friendly and helpful the staff was. I came here solely for the nostalgia factor but I enjoyed the food and the service. Beeps is A-OK! read more

With several window counters, you order outside, with the menus conveniently pasted on the counters. I wanted to try the sandwiches au jus (sauce dipping sandwiches) because of course! But I decided to get the Pastrami Reuben sandwich because my mission, as I may have stated several times earlier, is to try every single Reuben sandwich out there. My sandwich was filling but it also tasted very salty. I'm not a big salt person and I'm sensitive to it too, so my sandwich was just a little too salty for my taste. The fries Adam got weren't too bad. We had friendly servers that constantly checked in on us to make sure everything is fine. Loved that. We wanted to sit outdoors because it's sunny out but there were too many flies for our liking, so we moved our food indoors. I ordered the Big Beeper hamburger three separate times and they always send me a cheeseburger. 3x now in the past month. Sorry, but you need to really learn to read your orders correctly and making sure they are correct before sending them out. It's a waste of food, a waste of time and a waste of my hard-earned money. Well, I tried again and now I'm done. Ordered a chicken finger and fries plate and when my husband got home, there were no fries. When I called they said we could come back (nope) or they could give us a credit. They said they don't refund ever on credit cards only on cash and the other side we got couldn't be refunded because it cost more than the fries. I was told the home fries were a $5 dollar side and not comparable to the missing French fries but it clearly states on their menu that fries are $3 and home fries are $3.49. The woman who I spoke to also was severely lacking in customer service skills. She gave us a ' small French fry credit'. Sigh. Their menu is absolutely massive and since they serve breakfast all day it is a bit of a struggle to decide what ya really want. My first time ordering from this place they definitely need to get a better cashier. The one with the gauges is OK and friendly for the most part. I called in and made the order. They said 35 minutes. I was there in 35 minutes, I also came on my lunch break, so it was time sensitive and once I arrived, half of my order was not ready which is fine so I asked them how long it would take, they decided to take someone else order to complete mine but the order was sitting there waiting for somebody else to pick up. The cashier handed me my order and I was telling her "I am sorry I don't mean to be a hassle it's just if you guys tell somebody 35 minutes then it should be ready and fresh within 35 minutes", She then said that they make the fries once you arrive if that was the case and why are you giving me someone else's chili cheese fries from an order being ready to pick up (MAKE IT MAKE SENSE). I just wanted to know how long it was going to be. That cashier has no customer service like how are you going to go back and forth with a customer who is trying NOT to give you a hard time. The breakfast was amazing. The waffle was fluffy and had a generous amount of chocolate. The fruit on the waffle was fresh and I had no problem with it. The table also was not well cleaned when we sat and neither was the outside of the building. Details are important. = 2.75 The ambience has been dummed down a lot over the years. They've abandoned a lot of the unique qualities that made them stand out like the pink walls in the eating space outside, pink trash can/decor and framed pictures. They removed the lit vintage menu and vintage decor and it's just a big slab of black with nothing. The vintage cola sign is gone outside but nothing replaced it. It's just a rusted sign with a hole. Why? Like why take away things and make the place look worse over time? Who's idea was this?? They also aren't even doing basic maintenance like fixing lights in the sign that go out. Needs fresh paint or a building pressure cleaning. Again, things are being let go of and please invest in yourself. = 2 The people were nice. It was weird the lady kept asking if I wanted this and that with my order and intentionally never mentioned these things were for an extra fee. The following week the guy did the same exact thing. Is that how leadership is training them now? Weird. Also didn't even get the grilled onions on the side I paid extra for. = 3 13.5 points / 5 topics = 2.7 Overall while the particular food I ordered was good, this low score is a reflection of the blatant disregard and inappreciativeness towards customers by not sharing access to the very basic need of using their restroom. Everything on the menu looked delicious, but I decided since this was the first visit to go with a standard bacon cheese burger and fries. SOOOOO good.
