We always seem to come to Bertuccis expecting so much more and leaving disappointed, I'm not sure why that is. The big selling point here is the rolls. They're hot, fresh, plentiful, and very good. But be ready to fill up on them, because you're going to be there for awhile. It always seems to be busy here, and they always seem short staffed. Its no fault of the servers, they're always hustling and working hard. It seems they just need more staff on hand. You do get seated relatively quickly here, and you'll be waited on quickly...but then you'll wait a very long time for your food. Keep in mind they don't take reservations here, so your mileage may vary for seating times. Speaking of the food, its OK. I don't think I've ever had anything particularly bad here, but it never really blows you away either. Its decent, if slightly bland. Just keep asking for more rolls...they might be terrible for you, but they really are the best thing about this place. Maybe we should try the take out, which they do offer. Avoid the long waits in the restaurant, just enjoy the food? Worth a shot! read more

Went here for a late lunch on a Sunday. The food is standard for a chain Italian restaurant. However, I had a Cobb Salad yesterday and the chicken tasted off. I picked it off and ate the rest which is good. Everyone else I was with liked their meals. What was awful was the service. It took the server a while to even see/notice us, we had to speak to the hostess. This wasn't her fault as she was seated with tables all the way in the back of the restaurant. However the hostess should have given her a heads up that we were seated a solid 15 mins ago, especially since we were right near the stand. My advice to management would be a few things - 1.. the waitress station for bread/drinks is in the middle of the dining room floor. It's weird and almost unsanitary. People walking by could literally just sneeze or cough right on the rolls which are just in a basket on a counter top. 2. The way the servers are sat, is all out of wack. read more

Went the other night and we had the most amazing service from Jenn and Courtney! The drinks were amazing and the food was delicious. The pizza took a little longer than usual but they were very apologetic (even though it wasn't their fault) and we didn't really notice because they constantly made sure we had fresh rolls or if we needed anything at all. First time to this establishment. Delicious dinner with my beautiful lady. Long story short, I ordered a small brick oven pizza with 4 toppings and my girlfriend ordered shrimp scampi. My order was missing one of the toppings I chose, but I wasn't crying over it. I caught the waitress and told her the situation and asked not to charge me for it, though she looked frightened when I mentioned it. She came back closer to the end of our dinner and told us that her manager made sure our pizza was remade for us because "she felt bad" and that it'll be ready to take home to eat later. My girlfriend and I were shocked, yet pleased for the first time experience we had. Even though we figured it was for tipping purposes, it definitely worked. Overall, I would definitely go again. Interesting fact: this location doesn't have a computer system for seating, it's all done manually on a laminated paper. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but sadly our take out dinner was less than mediocre. My bf and I decided to split a salami pizza and shrimp scampi to go. I also ordered a side Caesar salad. Let me say the pizza was OKAY, nothing spectacular but not horrible either. The crust was nice and crunch which was good. The shrimp scampi was terrible. It tasted like cheap shrimp that were reheated and thrown in with some white wine sauce that came from a jar. The side salad that came along with it, some lettuce thrown in a container with generic Caesar dressing on the side. I can't seem to ever avoid coming here. I love Italian food and I want to see Bertucci's improve. This location has so much potential. Anyway, my husband and I stopped here a few weeks ago for dinner. We did have to wait for a booth, which I didn't understand because it wasn't that busy. There were plenty of empty chairs in the place. Our waiter, I can't remember his name (unfortunately), greeted us shortly after we sat down. He was very cheerful, which you don't see much of at Bertucci's nowadays. He took our drink orders and even took our dinner orders! Everything was fast! We received the bread and of course, it was hot and delicious. Our food came just a few minutes after we were done eating the bread. We both enjoyed our meals! My wife & I wanted to go somewhere local, for dinner tonight, and hadn't been to Bertucci's in awhile. I was just looking for a bowl of soup, and spaghetti & meatballs. Who would think, that would be a tough order for an Italian restaurant ? To say it may very well have been the worst spaghetti & meatballs I've ever had, might just be an understatement. The meatballs were the size of ping pong balls & were so burnt & rubbery they could have probably bounced higher. This has always been a favorite restaurant but like many restaurants during Covid, the quality of the food has gone down while the prices have gone up. Maddie was our friendly and hardworking waitress. She had so many tables that service was slow--not her fault. She even had to make our cocktails--no bartender. Those cocktails were sky high in price--something that wasn't in the menu. The food was okay. My friend couldn't eat her Cesar chicken salad that was also overpriced but hardly any chicken. To be honest, I could give this place a 4 star rating, but based on two separate visits here, I won't. Don't get me wrong, the food is really good here, as well as the bar drinks. Can't complain there! But the servers sometimes have attitudes, to the point they had a full fledged argument with the kitchen guys right in front of our table (we were seated right near the open kitchen ). Unprofessional to say the least. The other "bad" experience while dining here my hubby chomped down on a olive pit on a pizza. The manager in both instances comped us , the argument one was a full comp, the latter hubby's pizza was free. That is great, but like I said, the servers themselves, it's kind of hit and miss. Our service was very poor, particularly when the hostess who was seating another table kept slamming their high chair into my boyfriends chair and kept saying "sorry, oh sorry". She clearly was not going to be able to fit the high chair unless she lifted it over her head or went around. We moved our table to accommodate her. This was after every table and chair around us had been moved while some lady was looking for jewelry she may have lost while dining earlier. We ordered: Spinach and artichoke dip.....Luke warm at best. Wing Sampler.....good flavor, rubbery chicken. Pizza....not attractive, tasted better after a reheat in the toaster oven. On Saturday the 16th my family and I were forced to stand outside in the cold for 45 minutes while other people seated themselves, we then got to our table and the waitress took 15 minutes just to introduce herself, she then took our drink orders and that took an extra 15 minutes for sodas. When our food came my husband's food didn't show up for 25 minutes while the rest of us had our meals, and when his food came it was cold. That night my mother in law and I (who ate the same dish as I did) started throwing up uncontrollably. My baby shower was on the 17th but I had to go into the hospital because I am 8 months pregnant, So I had to cancel the baby shower. When calling the manager he said I could come back for a free meal, I told him no, I told him I will be contacting a lawyer because he put my unborn child's life at risk. He then hung up on me. Went here for dinner on Saturday night. It was a bit crowded but we got a table pretty quickly. The service was just o.k. I wasn't impressed since we had to look for our waiter during the meal. The food is o.k. this is a chain restaurant, after all. If you're looking for some pasta or pizza, this is an o.k. place to go to. Prices are good and the food is o.k. I had a salad, which was tasty, and pasta with chicken which was a little dry and bland, although I think salt is their main spice. Do I have to leave a star? This restaurant is BY WORST the most disgusting Bertucci's I've been to. The rolls were not fully cooked.. I cut ALL 3 open and it looked like dough you could play with. My salad came in a dirty bowl. And to top it off I found a piece of sh!t looking like a snail at the bottom of my pasta while mixing it around. (The waitress didn't even know what it was!!!!) My husband and I were visiting family in the area and they took us to Bertuccis. This was our first time here but by the end of the night we def decided this would be THE place to come and dine with our family every time ! The food was spectacular ! We shared the Sampler, mozzarella fritti and meatballs for an appetizer. The meatballs were done perfectly and had the perfect texture. I'm always a sucker for mozzarella sticks but these were made with love and felt more high end. HANDS DOWN THE BEST IVE TRIED !! After our appetizers came out a gentleman named Mike came out to speak to us and make sure our dining experience was top notch. He was so genuine and actually took the time to explain how their pizzas were made and what sets them above the rest.. let's just say I was excited for our pizzas to come out .. we ordered the Bertucci pizza, Sporkie And meatball ricotta to share. . I can't even decide which I loved most.... literally the best pizza I've ever had .. you definitely taste the difference between reg pizza and a brick oven pizza . I was recently in PA visiting family and came across Bertucci's restaurant as a place I could take my Dad and younger brother out for dinner prior to leaving town this past Saturday. We order our entree's and waited for over forty-five minutes and watched another family come in after us and be served before we did which was just the tip of the iceberg. I ordered a shrimp pasta dish which looked nothing like the menu advertisement and I took one bite of my food and realized it was not edible and tasted like something was put in my food. Conclusion, I did not eat my meal and had the waitress take it off my bill. My dad and brother ordered a chicken salad & Lasagna meal which caused them both to be severely sick over the course of the weekend. I've now been there twice. The first time being over a year ago but I walked away happy. This most recent visit was a completely different story... After a 45 minute wait to be seated we were starving. The waitress was pleasant enough but clearly new, which she confirmed rather quickly. It took 10 minutes just to have our basket of bread brought out and another 10 minutes to receive our oil, which I fondly remembered enjoying though this time was inedible. Shortly after we received our bread, a plate of plain pasta was brought out, and not by our waitress. It was what my daughter had ordered though we were confused as to why it was being brought out without our food. The person serving it was as confused as us. We found out a bit later that it was meant for another table. By the time we received our own meals I was beyond starving but my spaghetti and meatballs was served without meatballs and the sauce was watery. My husbands lasagna was served with no sauce causing the top layer of noodle to be crunchy and unpleasant. We discussed this with our waitress who said the restaurant was under new ownership and that that was the way it was meant to be. Needless to say the entire evening was miserable. Even forgiving the faults of a new waitress, the food was the price of the Olive Garden but the quality was about the worst I've found since moving to the area. We will not be returning. read more

Finally went to Bertucci's for the last time. It's unfortunate because while the food is pretty decent, the place is just filthy. Over the past 2 years, my tables have been either dripping with water from a broken seal in the window, had fruit flies hovering above us, freezing cold temps in front of the fireplace, or dusty huge cobwebs within arms reach of my food. (Also oily menus and super dirty high chairs.) I even tried online delivery with disastrous results (missing entree and bread, adding over an hour delay to an intimate dinner party we were hosting). They comp'd that meal and gave me coupons to entice me to come back again (see "cobwebs" experience above). A thorough cleaning would vastly improve every customer's experience and Bertucci's bottomline. read more

I went here on a Monday night around 7:45 with my boyfriend. I've been to this location once or twice before, but not recently. Upon entering, no one was at the hostess stand and no one acknowledged us for a few minutes while we stood there awkwardly. Finally the bartender saw us waiting, and sat us. She led us past one dirty table after another. Also I should note, it wasn't that crowded, maybe three or four other parties. So eventually we were seated at a clean table and we see the hostess return to her stand. She was chatting in the open kitchen. The waitress though was very friendly and knew the menu very well. She offered us the rolls and olive oil, which were cold. Later she did offer warm rolls. For my meal, I had the lasagna which was okay, but a very large portion. I was able to take some home. My boyfriend had the grilled tuscan chicken wings, which he also said was okay. Overall I don't think I would return to this location, even though it's the most convenient. BERTUCCI'S - What happened? Obviously you are not interested in my business. We walked in about 3:30 pm on February 13, 2019 - there were more dirty tables than clean tables. We stood waiting to have a table cleaned for us, we decided to go next door to 5 below instead of waiting. We returned a few minutes later with the only clean table was the one she cleaned for us. I ordered drinks for my husband and myself, she brought my husbands water and my soda along with a basket of bread and dipping oil. She said we came during shift change. We waited 30+ minutes, then the wings we ordered were brought but we didn't have any plates or silverware or napkins. 15 minutes later we were finally brought plates and silverware/napkins, at this time we asked to see a manager. We waited another 10 minutes by this time we were fed up and we got ready to leave the wings were ice cold, it was obvious management didn't care. One girl asked us were we really leaving as the manager was busy but should be over in a while. I was really wanting our pizza and wings we ordered but ice cold wings doesn't make for a great time! This place was awful. They were out of a lot of things we asked for and their excuse was it's the holiday season. In my opinion holiday season you should order more then usual. The food came out cold and we had nats flying around as we were trying to eat our cold food. When we told our waitress about the nats she said oh yeah we have had them for months. Should they even be able to be open if they have bugs I don't think that's sanitary. All the tables around us were not cleaned at all no one came and bussed them..
