Unfortunately this is one of the worst Better Buzz locations I've visited. I only go because it's the closest to where I live. Every time I come my drink is always made wrong and when I ask for it to be remade it's not any better. The milk will be incorrect, the flavored foams always taste like the regular one, and the staff always has an attitude with me at the window. I work at a Starbucks and prefer Better Buzz but at this point it's not very worth it to me anymore. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but this was frustrating enough to make an exception. My daughter placed an online order for a drink, a bowl, and a Blackberry Lavender Danish. I picked it up and was handed one drink. I had to point out there was more and show the order on my phone. Ricky brought out the bowl, handed me a sealed bag, and said nothing about the missing danish. Running out of an item happens. Not communicating it and letting a customer get all the way home only to find it missing? UNACCEPTABLE. I tried calling three times with no answer, so I drove back. The manager offered a replacement, but nothing comparable and all cheaper. No refund option in store, no refund option in the app, and no contact info. Even the manager couldn't figure out how to process one. To top it off, staff barely acknowledged customers waiting at the window during all of this. Poor communication, no accountability, and a second trip for their mistake. Add in the terrible ingress and egress, and this was just bad customer service all around. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Support a local neighborhood coffee shop that actually communicates and values your time. This one isn't worth it. Anyway, time for me to go on a scavenger hunt for a customer service email so I can maybe, hopefully, get our money back. read more

There's ways a line here since it's still a new location. Parking is a hassle during peak hours and so is the drive thru. It can get pretty hectic so plan ahead. Best drink ever is my go to. Ive been making this my daily coffee spot for almost a year. There are a few gems that work this location, Anthony and Tracy being two of them I can recall the names of. Unfortunately, the quality of the coffee has declined- the machines arent cleaned properly and it seems like some staff run the same espresso thru the machine and forget to switch it out for fresh beans which makes for that burnt coffee taste. I decided to boycott Better buzz about a month ago. Crazy how you can go to the same coffee place at the same time every morning and the same girl who serves you doesnt remember you. Since better buzz opened in Bonita I have to say I get my weekly fix and I'm loving in. Their iced best drink ever is my favorite. I was very surprised how delicious their acai bowls were. My family and I actually felt it was better than Jamba Juice acai bowls. We also get their caprese sand which. It's so delicious. I love Better Buzz but this location is ALWAYS a hit or miss. I've been using mobile order on Sundays to get coffee for my fiancé and me before our morning walk. I noticed if I use mobile order before 8:00am, my drinks are perfect, but if I mobile order after that time, I end up waiting 10+ minutes past the "ready by time" or my drinks were simply skipped to be calling out because of the rush and were sitting in the back. Sometimes, after I check with the barista, I wait for my mobile order by the window long enough for people who ordered there to get their drinks before me! I didn't want to wait 20-30 min for my medication at the Kaiser down the street so I took advantage that Better Buzz is now in the area and I decided to put my waiting time in the drive through line which honestly wasn't that bad. They have designated yellow painted drive through lines that guide you and someone with a STOP & GO sign to direct traffic in the parking lot. When you pull up there is 2 lanes to order (similar to McDonalds and Chick-Fil-A) They have employees standing ready to place the order for you to make the lines go by faster. I see the Better Buzz has made it to Bonita. This location is mostly a drive-through and takeout, although they do offer two tables right out in front. I had one of my favorite items at the buzz, the better breakfast sandwich that comes on a pretzel bun with a fried egg, cheese, arugula, and bacon. I also had an Americano. I initially ordered hot black tea with milk, but it was overly sweet, so I changed it. I liked the pretzel bun because it tasted good and had a nice chew. The rest of the breakfast sandwich was very good. The egg could have been seasoning a little more, but it was cooked well, the bacon was tasty, and the sandwich came with a decent amount of arugula and cheese. The Americano was smooth for the most part. It was slightly bitter towards the end, but nothing to make it bad. I had it pure black with not sweetener. Customer service was friendly. Don't plan on coming to sit down and have a long convo with some, unless you get lucky with one of the two tables like I did. The parking lot is tight, and I am worried about the amount of traffic and line the drive-thru causes. It needs to be addressed, especially since I observed two close collisions while I was there. Quite possibly the longest I've waited just to place an order. I stood outside waiting for someone to take my order--two employees acknowledged me and said they'd be with me shortly. That "shortly" turned into 10-15 minutes of standing there... with no line in front of me. When someone finally came to take my order, she was somewhat rude. It honestly felt like she was talking down to me in a condescending tone. I asked if I could get my drink with a different milk, and she literally made a face--as if I was inconveniencing her. Sorry I don't know what's in the drink ‍ To top it off, after taking my order, she just walked away without giving me a receipt. I had to raise my voice to get her attention. No apology, no sense of care. Just flat-out cold and dismissive. Only reason I'm giving one star is because they did get my açaí bowl and drink out pretty quickly. That's it. It just opened! I highly suggest ordering online then doing pick up! It's faster that way. My friend and I came Sunday morning around 11:00am, ordered through the app to pick up. You may bypass the drive through line and park in the lot or you can park in the nearby plaza's and walk. It took us less than 5 minutes to walk from across the street in the Alex BBQ parking lot. Of course there was a bunch of people waiting in line for pick up, but it took another 5 minutes before our pick up order was ready.
