Cute spot. I really like the outside seating area it's super cute. The in side was clean and cozy. You have to get here early as there is limited parking, street parking or small parking lot. There is no drive thru at this location, BUT they are walking distance to the beach. The service was good. The girl that took my order was super sweet and patient. My go to is the Best Drink Ever. Can never go wrong with this drink. Thanks Better Buzz Del Mar for getting me buzzed on this Sunday morning. read more

The people watching is worth coming here alone. Wow! If I have friends coming in from out of town I would take them here. Beautiful cars and rich people walking expensive dogs mixed with tourists . Ordered an OG Açaí bowl and it was the perfect amount of everything. This was the Goldilocks of açaí bowls. Just right. Not too much toppings and not too little açaí. Wasn't too expensive either which was nice. Sometimes a bowl can go up to 15 bucks which is outrageous. read more

If you are in San Diego and looking for a coffee shop you need to go to Better Buzz!! The ambiance and aesthetic is super cute and trendy. Lots of outdoor patio seating which I love. The coffee is amazing - I had the Horchata coffee (can't remember the exact name) and The Best Coffee Ever. I liked The Best Coffee ever more (it was more sweet) but both were great. I enjoyed this location and found the barista to be very helpful. My drink came out quickly. I had the Moroccan spiced iced coffee and had almond milk instead of heavy cream. My one constructive feedback is that there were ants on the counter with the straws and trash cans and unfortunately it wasn't just one. Hopefully this can be rectified soon. Overall, it's a nice alternative to Starbucks. FYI, no drive through at this location. read more

Wanted to check out the new Better Buzz location. Everything was fine until my boyfriend started spitting out large chunks of macro plastics. He ordered an açaí smoothie which ended up having multiple of these pieces in them. Not sure how that happens but the plastic was pretty sharp. He was lucky enough to catch this and not swallow the pieces, but who knows how many micro plastics are being blended into all these smoothies. read more

Worse service! Got a to go drink the day before and it wasn't made right. I was heading to an appointment long distant and didn't have time to go back as well as the other barista that took the order that day was rude (Jasmin), second encounter with her and same cold rudeness., even if I had time I wouldn't go back to her. The next morning I told Emma the barista and she was very misleading about redoing it, initially she said I can get a different drink but was charging me, when I asked why she said "you're getting a different drink, do want the same as yesterday's" I agreed and then she was charging me for that as well, I asked why, her reply "that was yesterday" I felt like I was in some bad comedy show! :( today was a sad day. Stopped off to get some breakfast before heading out to Fletcher Cove. Got a pistachio croissant, latte, chili crisp wrap and blueberry cold brew. Got to the cove and ate half of the wrap. Took a bite of the second half and found a long blonde hair. So disappointed and grossed out. Sorry but I have to give this a no go. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait. Cherry mochas are hard to come by, and I haven't really encountered another one. This one was delicious! The espresso was bold, the milk perfectly creamy, and the overall taste not too sweet (unlike Starbucks'). Wow!! I can already tell this will be a drink I daydream about. Unfortunately it was $7.50, which will prevent me from indulging very regularly. The rest of the menu is pricey too, with avocado toasts nearly reaching $20. (I may be a millennial, but I can certainly understand the negative stereotype when I see coffee shop prices like these.) Besides pricing, the other downside of this place is the limited seating. There were only 4 small outdoor tables, so unless you're with just one other person and you arrive before 10am, I'd suggest grabbing your coffee to go and taking a walk. My friend and I sat down, since there were open tables when we arrived. She enjoyed her iced honey cinnamon latte. If you love a cherry mocha or are looking for coffee in the design district, definitely come through!

Both delicious and they came with housemade potato chips (which I thought was weird until I tasted them). I was so full but I couldn't not eat the chips because they were so good. One friend ordered the Quesabirria and she didn't love it. It was very strange as it was wrapped in fried cheese. They also ordered the other tacos and loved them. One of us was thrilled to see ube and taro ice cream being offered, so she ended up with that. The other person got something chocolatey, and our kiddo got cookies and cream (maybe? we can't remember!). They basically force you to order a big size of two scoops, which we did not appreciate. Our friends all got the Persian flavors because they are Persian :) The ice cream is good enough, but because we had to eat it outside in the heat, it melted quickly and wasn't the most enjoyable experience overall. If you're hankering for Persian-specific flavors, then you will love this place, but we'd rather go back to the one in LA at some point for nostalgia's sake. Three stars, but no bad feelings, and we wish them well.

I walked in and was greeted instantly. I was the only customer there. I ordered and was handed my chocolate chip cookies right away. I waited until I got home to eat them. I have to say the flavor was really good. It's crisp and chewy at the same time. The salt sprinkled on top was a good addition but I think a tiny bit less would have been better. I gave one to a friend and we both wanted more.

I had a disappointing experience at Better Buzz Coffee that just opened in Del Mar. I ordered an 'extra hot' latte but was served one that was barely warm. When I kindly pointed this out to the staff, they responded unprofessionally by giggling. To make matters worse, when my drink was called out again, they loudly and rudely said 'you're welcome' before I even had a chance to speak. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. It would be beneficial for management to properly train their staff or consider hiring employees who can provide respectful and courteous service. Customers deserve better than dealing with teenage tantrums at a place meant to be welcoming. read more

I love Starbucks but this place is not bad either. Better Buzz app has a good app and their app is better than Starbucks app. In terms of coffee I miss the coffee of Starbucks in Del Mar but this place has friendly servers and good vibes overall so I will support it. I like getting a coffee and take it with me for my walk at Del Mar beach. Coffee tastes good but they don't serve it hot enough sometimes. Order extra hot if you want it hot. read more
