There's always a huge line at this location. I shops the mall frequently but have yet to try this location. I came in early Saturday morning around 8:15am. Stood in line for about 5 mins the line was not moving. So I decided to mobile order. The service here definitely needs improvement. There were only 3 people behind the counter and there were probably a good 6 drinks that needed to be iced. My mobile order time was up so I waited for someone behind the counter to help me but no one made eye contact nor did they even acknowledge I was there. Once I finally got my Iced Vanilla Latte, the line was even longer. I probably won't be coming back to this location which is a shame because it Woolf be nice to shop and get buzzed. The customer service she gave my children and I was exceptional. In my experience these days to be honest with you sucks lately It's extremely hard to get even mediocre customer service in some places. Well this girl Maiya blew me away. She was kind, knowledgeable, and fun. I had my two kids with me and I think she could tell I was stressed and in a hurry. So she was quick and funny making my children laugh. My drink was perfect. Better Buzz is a local San Diego coffee chan. This one is a small kiosk inside the Fashion Valley mall. It's decent coffee, better than what you might usually find in a mall. I got the vanilla bean latte. It was slightly watery, not too strong, not that I prefer strong coffee anyways. It was also nearly $7... First time here at Better Buzzed this location is located at the mall and there is no dine in. We ended up getting a cheese danish and it was good but not as good as Starbucks. The OG Acai organic acai, vanilla almond granola, fresh berries, bananas, honey was really good it's like a frozen yogurt with fresh fruit and granola super delicious. I've reviewed Better Buzz up in Encinitas, but I had my first opportunity to try their Fashion Valley. While I can see the virtues and shortcomings of their North County location, this spot set in an upscale mall was in general disappointing. We will leave aside for the moment price--not cheap is a fair assessment, although to be sure not unusually so. We will forget the clientele whom they seem to primarily serve: wealthier customers who enjoy all sorts of extravagant, almost accidentally caffeinated, confections. We can even overlook the fact that this is more properly a coffee kiosk with no place to sit. When it comes down to it, the coffee just wasn't that good. The Cortado I ordered bordered on the undrinkable (a point I would have made to the barista had I not already walked some distance to find a place to sit). My friend's latte was equally lackluster, which she described as "warm milk with hints of coffee." In sum, two deeply unsatisfying espresso drinks from a local chain that prides itself on producing quality coffees. Having outlined my concerns about another Better Buzz before, this experience suggests to me that this is perhaps a systemic problem with the business rather than limited to a single location. If so, I would humbly suggest the owners consider what they can do to turn this around. Either way, I am not hurrying back read more

Ooh... it's a lot of hype. There was a HUGE LINE and paired with good reviews and my dad craving a caffeine fix we made line. They have ALOOOT of employees behind the counter which made for a quick turn around on our drinks. My dad got a Double Expresso with Steamed half and half while I tried the Vanilla Bean Iced Latte. My drink was very watered down and have little to no flavor. Idk if the reviews are skewed because of how cute the place is or what.. but I expected more Overall, I dont think I'll try again especially if there is another huge line - but maybe without one I'd get them another chance with a different drink. read more

Drink quality is always great here! Staff is nice and works diligently to get orders done. Only downside is this location is just constantly busy and lines are long. This is my go to coffee spot when I'm at the mall. I love their Best Drink ever which is best with the oatmilk, but today they were out :(. I always anticipate the long wait, especially on an afternoon weekend and so I order through the app while I'm shopping. I arrived at 8 minutes on the dot and my drink was ready! They do keep mobile orders cold by storing it in the fridge so make sure you ask for your order when you approach the counter. The pick up counter is always a cluster of people and the ones handing out the orders tend to ignore you if you're standing right there waiting for them to acknowledge you. Make sure you catch their attention or you will be standing there for quite a bit. I also ordered their pistachio croissant which was loaded with the nutty goodness both inside and out. You can grab the same coffee here than the other locations. The only problem is that you have a bunch of shoppers that need their caffeine fix and so it takes much, much longer than going elsewhere. I'm just glad that I am able to get the best drink ever here. I'm just not too thrilled of the wait time to get it. All in all, not too bad since you do have to walk around a bit to shop.
