Stopped into Fashion Valley Mall for some quick shopping before the drive back home. Needed a little pick me up. Grabbed a mint mocha blended. Flavor good. Very subtle mint. Would've like a bit more mint. The coffee they use is great full body coffee. No over roasting flavor. My only complaint is we waited 20 min for an acai bowl on a Monday and not a holiday. The mall was not that busy. Not sure what was going on as there was 4 people in front and someone in the back. Either way, coffee is great and wife loved the acai bowl. read more

I tried Better Buzz for the first time here. The coffee is disgusting. It was way too sweet and I threw it out after a couple of sips. Just go to Starbucks at this point, don't waste your money here. Service was alright, I was on an akward first date and the cashier took her time making small talk and asking me what my plans was as if it wasn't uncomfortable enough. Fire the whole night team that was working on Friday night 10/14 . The male Cashier doesn't greet you and when I asked if it's ok to order he just looked at me. Then he didn't get my order right didn't repeat my order back to me to confirm it . It must have been the theme of the night because the two girls before me were drink remakes and the barista gave me the biggest attitude when I told her my order wasn't even close to what I asked for 10/10 wouldn't recommend No one deserves to be treated poorly when ordering from anywhere. Didn't realize there was a location in the mall. It's across from Victoria's Secret Pink/Hello Kitty Cafe on the first floor. Lines get a little crazy later in the day but before 10am line was a breeze. During one of our visits the cashier seemed to be irritated first thing in the morning. Got our order wrong (didn't provide a receipt) but the kind barista fixed the order. Tried: Açaí OG bowl: has lots of Açaí. Was in a plastic to go container with lid which makes it portable which is nice. This took about 10 minutes to come out. New Orleans: Was good and not overly sweet. Best Ever: this was good at half sweet. Coffee was incredibly hot. Probably the hottest coffee I've ever been served. I had to take the lid off for awhile before it cooled down enough to drink. Honey latte: even at 50% sweetness this was pretty darn sweet! Wouldnt get again. Coconut cold brew: they had a coconut drink special that was really good. It was really creamy. A little too sweet though. Pumpkin spice latte: good PSL flavor. A little over sweetened and the drink wasn't as hot as I thought it would be (was more lukewarm). Matcha: They have the BEST matcha I have ever had. It tastes amazing and is my go to when I don't want a coffee drink. Hazelnut Divinity: So ridiculously sweet. Too much for me. A little pricey for coffee and an açaí bowl but better than Starbucks. Get their black card if you frequent here! Follow their FB or Insta to see when they have openings for new members. Paid an extra dollar for foam that I didn't get, and when I brought this to their attention, I was handed a cup with white cream in it... I'm pretty sure it's not the vanilla sweet cold foam that I paid for. Ehhhh... I can't say it's better than Starbucks but it's not bad. It's more on the sweet side. I don't understand why their so called popular drink is "Iced Best Drink Ever" because it technically isn't. My opinion, the best iced coffee I've had and will continue to have is the Sea Salt Iced Coffee from 85 degrees and no it's not because I'm asian. It's just waaaay better than the one I had at Better Buzz. Better Buzz because you get buzzed from sugar. Sorry. Oh by the way, this location is in a mall, so if you're coming here just to try this place... be prepared to park and walk. Strolling the mall on a hot day and decided to stop by Better Buzz for some Kombucha. They periodically change their Kombucha flavors and today they were serving Clear Mind. It was refreshing and tarty at the same time. It was a blend of rosemary, mint, sage and green tea. A great way to quench my thirst. It would have been better if the cashier knew how to explain what blend of flavors the Kombucha encompasses instead of having us do a google search on the spot to see if we wanted it or not. read more

The coffee at better buzz is great. I love it! But here is my experience at this location. Constructive criticism because I love better buzz I showed up around 7:52 they open at 8. Baristas were inside drinking coffee and doing high fives. I understand they open at 8 but a greeting would have been nice. You are in the business of being the first interactions with customers and their day. They weren't doing anything but waiting for 8 am. At 8 exact they opened the glass wall. It would have been nice if instead of waiting around to serve me they would have cleaned the counter from the previous day. My coffee was great though just not a fan of my experience today. I've been to this location a handful of times and have been very lucky to have received great service each time! I've gotten the iced honey latte, best drink ever, and most recently, the iced lavender black tea latte. All of which are extremely delicious! The iced honey latte is reminiscent of the famous "dalgona" latte. The best drink ever is not the best per se but it's pretty great. It's a staple drink that everyone should try. I'm a sucker for lavender so the lavender black tea latte is my favorite! Floral and sweet! Highly recommend! read more

I ordered two drinks online and they were out of one. I didn't get an email or a text being that the order has both. When I arrived for pick up the snooty barista told me they were out. I explained I was on my break that was about to end and if I could come back later. They were like "we're not allowed to do that and it literally takes me 2 minutes to make it". We were there for Black Friday yesterday. The line was very long, so my daughter-in-law placed an online order, which they said would take a 10 minutes. We got our food probably 20-25 minutes later. She was told they would call her when the drinks were ready. After 45 minutes I asked, letting them know how long it had been. I was told they don't call out the orders when they are placed online. The guy in front of us left. We finally got the drinks, and they were barely warm. As much as I like them, that was really bad service, especially since they were telling everyone in line that it was a 10 minute wait. read more

Hit or miss with pastries, sometimes they taste like they are fresh from the oven and other times they taste stale and DAYS old. I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with my experiences with your Fashion Valley location and your customer service line. Your Fashion Valley location has no direction and is overwhelmed. Today, I had ordered ahead for a Mint-infused Iced Coffee and was given a pick up time of 11:26. Come 11:31 the order was still not complete. When I went to ask about the order, I physically watched the barista/clerk mark my order as delivered then proceed to fumble around looking for my order. He then went on to tell me that my order was five cups behind. I want to take a moment to emphasize that your clerks are lying and saying orders are being delivered when in reality the order barely had the sticker placed on the cup. This is something I have observed several times over the past few months, including by the manager "Miguel." Back to the original issue, I then asked if they could cancel/refund my order to which I was told I'd have to go online to do that. Said it was fine and went to work thinking I could get that solved quickly. Boy, was that foolishly hopeful. I get to my job and after researching, I called not one but three numbers that were provided all of which went to voicemail. What customer service line goes to voicemail, thrice! I decide to go back to the app after I sent an e-mail refund request and found a cancel order button on there that directed me to call the store. Since I figured that it could be quicker if I spoke with the manager, I decided to give it a try. When the employee picked up, I asked about the refund again stating this time that the app redirected me back to the store; to which they replied with the same response. I asked to speak with the manager just as a final shot. I thought maybe the manager could provide an answer to make this whole thing right or at least she'd some light on the situation. Either of those would have been great, if I wasn't hung up on! That was the last straw. Operational inefficiency is one thing, but that was disrespectful. I went back to the store to speak with the manager in person. That's when I met "Miguel." I asked why he hung up on me. He said, paraphrasing "wasn't me." I asked why his team is hitting orders delivered blindly his answer was basically "everything gets mixed up." Mind you, I have seen Miguel himself do the exact same thing during non peak hours. I work at the mall. I've seen this store operating poorly at all hours of the day. I asked for any form of contact to his superior because at this point he is lying to me in my face his response... basically "‍‍shrug." Just because a store has sales volume does not mean it is ran well. This store will sell itself it just needs to open its doors due to location. This business needs to be re-evaluated. read more
