I love this better buzz! The staff are incredibly nice and welcoming, and they seem like they genuinely love working there. They even memorized my order, granted, I do go there a lot. Came here off recommendation from a friend that they had good yelp reviews and stopped in after going to Ralph's, as it is conveniently across the street and has a drive thru. Service was quick and friendly. I'd come here instead of Starbucks to support local if I'm in the area. With this covid thing I went drive thru and it was fine. I've lived here for two years and absolutely love this better buzz :) every time my friends visit from out of state they are always requesting we come here every day of their visit if not twice a day. Went there recently and the service I received from Jordan, Devin, James, and Loralie was amazing! Such kind and inviting people that really brightened my day with their attitude and lovely personalities as well as the delicious smoothie that Loralie made! I ordered a Lavender Black Tea Latte Iced 1/2 sweet with almond milk, HIGHLY RECOMMEND these mods ;) The new girl with blue hair at the register who's first day it is KILLED IT! I like the Better Buzz and yes, it is much better than most. Having a cafe au lait and the better breakfast sandwich, I was ready for the day's adventures. The cafe au lait was made just right with a 1:1 ratio. It was quite smooth with a mild coffee flavor and milky overtones. The better breakfast was bliss. First of all, it one a toasted pretzel bun that not only had that unique flavor but nice slight of a chew texture.The cage free egg was cooked to my desired temp, and the thick cut bacon was outstanding in flavor and texture. The Harvarti was light in flavor, the arugula peppery flavor and the garlic flavor of the aioli were all a match made in heaven. You can add more items such as tomatoes and avocado for an extra fee, but I felt what it came with, was just right. Service was upbeat and friendly. The store is located right next to Crystal Pier and features many windows to allow sunlight inside, as well as a drive-through. We got a London Fog and Vanilla Latte. While the london fog was good, it was definitely on the sweeter end. The latte was similarly on the sweeter side. I also thought they could've had smaller sizes, as my drink was too large and I couldn't finish it. Overall, this place is a convenient and reliable place to stop for some coffee. Hi! I love Better Buzz honestly, come here all the time- but for some reason, just wanted to share my experience on here because I was just completely shocked on the service and how they treated me! Here's my own experience: So on April 16th, 2021 around 2p I was at the Grand location drive thru in PB - I pulled up to the drive thru and was greeted nicely from the person taking orders. when it was my turn to greet her and start my drink order, I had accidentally caught her off as she was about to answer me. I apologized quickly as I knew that came across as rude from me and I didn't want her to think I was being rude at all. I apologized again and finished my drink order. When it was my turn to pay, the wait took longer than the people in front of me. I waited patiently and then finally got my drink- the woman working the window seemed friendly. I paid and then got my drink and drove off. When I finished my own drink i found a crumbled receipt at the bottom of my drink I was confused and horrified because my exchanged seemed normal. I felt disrespected and disgusted that I was treated this way. What if the receipt was from the trash? What did they do with it? Did they possibly SPIT in my drink? I had a minor mouth surgery, so just afraid the germs could possibly infect the wound. My thoughts are running wild and having a lot of anxiety from this experience. There is still a pandemic, COVID-19, happening and this is in no way to treat a customer. I understand there's a lot happening right now in the world and in our own lives. we're stressed, overworked, going through our own stuff but there's no reason to treat someone like this. read more

A good motivator to wake up on a Sunday is coffee! And today we got some from Better Buzz We ordered the best drink ever, the hazelnut divinity, a zucchini muffin, and the apple cinnamon muffin. The best drink ever is an americano with creamy vanilla. It's not overly sweet which is something that I appreciate, but I'm sure you can ask for it to be more on the sweet side. The hazelnut divinity contains white chocolate mocha with a hint of hazelnut. It was a bit sweeter than the best drink ever but not overwhelming. The zucchini muffin was delightful! You could actually taste the zucchini they put in. And it mixes well with the muffin textures, both soft and crunchy parts. The apple cinnamon muffin was good as well. It was more on the sweeter side of the spectrum but it was delicious. You could taste the apple, the cinnamon, and some nuts they mixed in there as well. I visited this location yesterday, and I'm a huge better buzz fan. This was my first time at the PB location with my dog (gotta get her a pup cup) and it is so beautiful with the roof top patio! Amanda took my order and had such a bubbly personality, I felt so welcomed and valued! I ordered an iced matcha tea latte and a hash brown wrap that she mentioned was a new menu item. Better Buzz is doing so great in San Diego and it's nice to see how many more newer locations they have throughout San Diego. This particular Pacific Beach location is off of Grand Ave near Taco Bell. Their coffee drinks are so yum and their food is just as good like their Avocado Toast, Breakfast Sandwich, and Pastries etc. I usually get Best Drink Ever and the name says it all. For food I tried their breakfast bacon egg sandwich which was amazing with pretzel bread bun! The drive thru gets busy, but they are efficient and have sweet service. 5 Stars. read more

I have lived in PB for a long time and visited most Better Buzz locations. The customer service at this one is bad. The girls working, this morning in particular, are burrrnnnttt! I tried to order my drink and the girl told me not to speak and to have my BF speak instead(super rude) and then wanted to argue with us that the label didn't say white mocha (we ordered a regular mocha). I'm ok with the miscommunications but talk NICE ladies. Use your customer service voices. I work at Sharp Hospital and can't imagine talking to patients this way. Don't let them ruin your morning. Go somewhere else. Was not surprised to see this Better Buzz location already has low ratings!
