Nice to have a Georgian cuisine option nearby. Service was great, our server spoke fluent Russian. 20% tip automatically added to every bill no matter how large your party. Standouts: $26 Khachapuri Adjaruli | Boat-shaped cheese bread with butter and an egg. - delicious and unique, can see why it's so popular and their signature dish! $16 Artichoke with Baje | Fried artichoke, walnut sauce, tashmijab (cheese melted into mashed potatoes), red adjika oil, svaneti salt. - the tashmijab was really good texture and flavor, unique. The main courses ended up tasting all kind of similar in flavor and accompaniments, ended up blending into the same style from dish to dish. We tried the Khinkali dumplings and ate them the traditional way, holding it upside down w hands - these were okay. The skin is thick and kind of blots out the flavors in the meat, and the soup inside was not particularly juicy. Cocktails were excellent, faves were Seo, Bounty Hunter, and Metamorphosis.
"Bevri" (): is a Georgian word that translates to "a lot" or "much" in English. This restaurant in toney DT Los Altos (was formerly in Palo Alto?), is a gem of a restaurant. I came here to meet some people in the rear private party room, but walked through it's beautifully appointed front dining space. The food is delicious, well prepared, and although somewhat familiar to other mediterranean styles you might be familiar with, it is also quite different in many ways. The spices are different, and the mix of accent ingredients have a healthier touch, at least at this restaurant's offerings. (Cucumbers, Pomegranate, others. Perhaps this is just California's fresh cornucopia of ingredients meeting Georgian recipes at Bevri?) Our little sub-group ordered or shared: PKHALI - Chopped baby spinach and beets with walnuts and herbs fashioned in 2 separate half scoop domes, served with eggplant rolls and grilled rosemary bread with olives. Good appetizer starter. KHINKALI - (Georgian Dumplings) - these are like Xiao Long Bao's (XLB) bigger brother! There is a little soup in there, but the dough is heavier. You can get Beef, Pork, or Mushroom, in 3, 5, or 8 pieces. You are actually supposed to hold these upside down by the tail and bite and suck out the soup with the bottom on top! AJAPSANDALI - Vegetable stew with eggplants, bell peppers, onions and carrots, cooked with tomatoes, cilantro and spices. PORK CHALAGHAJI - Marinated, slow-cooked baby pork ribs with Adjika sauce. (Adjika is a spicy, savory, and flavorful condiment or spread made from chilies, garlic, herbs, and spices. It's similar to a tomato pepper salsa and is often used in Georgian cooking.) KHACHAPURI ADJARULI - Boat-shaped bread with cheese, butter and an egg! (Bevri put this in their logo, it is so tasty and popular.) MTSVADI - (chicken or pork) Grilled medium-size meat cubes marinated in onions, herbs and spices. WINTER PEAR - (dessert) Ripe pear cooked in Georgian wine with Ice-cream paired with fresh mint and walnuts ZANDUKELI - (non-alcoholic beverage) - Pear flavored Sparkling Lemonade Soda Service was excellent, with a roomful of 25 - 30 diners, all arriving at different times, with separate checks, the staff brought out all the orders in timely fashion, hot and nicely plated, with no mixups! And Bevri doesn't charge for tips! You know, all these dishes sort of rhyme, makes my mind create a sort of Drake slow song/rap about sweet girls and good food... We had a party at Bevri, the first inside was Beverly, We shared a nice pear beverage, no alcohol, no leverage, Beets and Spinach Pkhali, then walked in pretty Dolly, We slurping up Khinkali, hold upside down, no folly, Queue AjapSandali, as here comes Jean and Molly, Served Pork Chalaghaji, Chicken, Pork Mtsvadi...... Play it on Repeat!
I really enjoyed this place! My favorites include the Baked Brussels sprouts appetizer, the cheese bread boat, and the Napoleon Cake. For the Brussels sprouts, I really enjoyed the flavor with the combination of cheese - I don't usually see that combo. The cheese boat was soooo good, but I'd definitely recommend sharing it if you can, it is very large. The Napoleon cake was much bigger than I thought. It tastes like cream puffs and was easily shareable among 4 people. I think my entree was a bit too dry for me. The portion sizes for most of their dishes are also a bit smaller, so I'd recommend ordering more than just one entree. In general the ambiance was nice and calm! We went on a Sunday evening and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Bevri is a popular Georgian restaurant around Main Street in Los Altos. There's plenty of parking nearby. Food 5/5: every dish was a star in flavor and presentation. Everyone on Yelp recommended the boat cheese bread and it did not disappoint! It's extremely filling and delicious. I would recommend sharing with 3+ people. The lamb Khinkali Dumplings were also quite delicious. It's more similar to a baozi (Chinese bun) than a soup dumpling. In total, we got 5 dishes (4 + 1 dessert) to share for 3 people. The restaurant automatically adds a service fee to your receipt and does not ask for tip. The servers were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. The overall bill came out to over $40 per person. It was a little pricey for the quantity of food, but taking into account the service, presentation, and quality of food, it's definitely worth coming for a special occasion.
Yum! I had never had Georgian food before so I didn't know what to expect, but my mom picked it for her birthday and I'm so glad she did! We loved the dumplings (all three flavors) and the chicken with potatoes dish. We also really enjoyed the bean filled pastries and the burrata filled bread (although that was a little too cheesy for me). I had the pear vodka soda and loved it and the desserts were really pretty (but didn't taste like anything spectacular). In the future, I hope to try the rosemary olive bread, one of the other cheesy breads, and their warm pear dessert. The ambiance and decor were cool - felt authentic. I will say our first waitress was nice, but it took a while for anyone to check on us after the food came out. Then, she seemed to have gone home because no one came to check on us until we pulled another guy over and asked for dessert and a drink, and he seemed confused about the menu, so it was a little disappointing. Had to deduct a star for the slow service. Overall I hope to come back soon!
Amazing food and good vegeterian options! Pkhali 5/5 My favorite dish on the menu. Khachapuri 5/5 Hype is real! :) Artichoke with baje 4/5 The mashed potato could use some more flavors/cheese. The adijka oil elevated the dish. Pista cocktail 2/5 it's sweet as opposed to tart as our server mentioned. They didn't take it back, but they were able to reconstitute it for us. Desserts seemed overly priced and uninspiring. Portion sizes are a bit on the smaller side. No typing policy is a nice touch. Service was a bit slow, ambiance is pleasant. There is a parking lot right behind the restaurant.
Tried this place for the first time and will definitely be back! I love the unique touch of the 'no tipping' policy--just enjoy the European cuisine. The cheese bread was my absolute favorite! I also tried the dumplings, which were okay for me, and the lamb was a good choice. The lamb kebab was flavorful, and the beef ribs were incredibly tender. We added a side of spicy sauce, which was a great complement. For dessert, we finished with the lava cake--it had a beautiful presentation and was perfectly gooey inside. Cozy and pretty inside! Servers were nice! Overall, a great experience!
Exceptional experience trying out Georgian food for the first time! Great location in downtown Los Altos, and excellent friendly and helpful service. All in all a 5-star. The best dish highly recommended to try is Khachapuri Imeruli, the boat-shaped cheese bread with butter and egg I strongly suggest to have the waiter to prepare it for you (see video). The second recommendation is the dumplings. Make sure you ask waiter to explain how to eat it properly as it's not traditional! It's dumplings with soup inside with your hand, and you are supposed to pick it up, turn it upside down, eat the bottom first and enjoy the soup/juice! We also got the chicken liver pate, which was amazing, too.
Great main and apps, not great dessert. But to be fair, the waiter did say we should go with another one. Everything here was great for the savory food. Cooked perfectly, great and strong flavors, and high quality ingredients. The pictures of the cheese boat are spot on and the hype for it is legit. If you like Chinese Xiao Long Bao, you should try the dumpling. It's a different flavor profile but still good. The beef and pork one reminded us of the spices you get on a beef Kafta. It was good but we would want to try the mushroom next time. The dessert was where it was lacking. The size was small (that's fine) but the pastry was soft and my wife caught notes of staleness. I think they just make it in the afternoon and stick it in the fridge. To me, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. The service was... service. We went at 5:15 and for 80% of our meal, the whole Wait staff was sitting at the bar scrolling whatever they were looking at. They didn't check on us and we had to flag them down for more water. It wasn't bad, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and they discuss we wanted to not be disturbed. The food came out hot and they mixed the cheese for us, so honestly it was ok, hence not marking them down a star. We would definitely come back it was very unique as we've never had Georgian food before
Mind blown! I'd never tried Georgian food before, and it was amazing. The food, service, and drinks were all fantastic at Bevri. I came in on a Tuesday for dinner to catch up with a girl friend, and Bevri was a perfect place. It was easy to relax and talk and hear each other over good food and tasty wine. The Khachapuri Adjaruli was out of this world - you've gotta try it! I drool just thinking about that cheesy bread with an egg on top. We also thought the chicken mtsvadi was tasty. The staff were very welcoming and helped us navigate the menu and pick a wine. If you're into wine, you've got to try the Georgian amber wine here! We went for the Dilao Mtsvane/Rkatsiteli Amber wine, and it was fantastic with hints of melon and cantaloupe. Can't wait to bring more friends or come back on a date!
Delicious food!!! The short ribs were really tasty. The cheese bread was a touch messy but still enjoyable. The natakhari drink was too sweet for me.
This was my first time at Bevri, and my first time trying Georgian food, and I was pleasantly surprised! Not because I expected it to be bad, but because I didn't expect to LOVE it this much. I highly recommend the Lobiani--hands down my favorite dish. I'd never had anything like it before: a flaky puff pastry filled with beans. It's totally vegetarian-friendly, but honestly, it's a great choice for anyone, regardless of diet. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of this one, but try it! You won't be disappointed. :) We also had the chicken kebab, which was flavorful and well-cooked. It was more familiar to me since similar versions appear in Indian, Afghan, and other cuisines I've had - but still, it was tasty. That said, the Lobiani really stood out. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
My first time having Georgian food, and I loved it! Parking is relatively easy. There is either street parking or the downtown area has some public parking lots just a short walk around the block. For a starter, I recommend getting the Pkhali. These tasty spreads come in spinach and beet flavors and are made with chopped walnuts and herbs. The colors are so vibrant and pretty! They also give you bread to spread it on, as well as eggplant rolls. You also must try their quintessential Georgian dishes--their Khinkali and Khachapuri Adjaruli! The Khinkali are Georgian dumplings filled with soup (similar to an xiao long bao if you've had those before). The Khachapuri is a boat-shaped bread with cheese, butter, and an egg. It's so yummy! Definitely big enough for sharing. For entrees, I was able to try a few different dishes, but my absolute favorite was the Kalmakhi! This grilled whole rainbow trout is stuffed with herbs and spices and is amazing! Sometimes when a whole fish is served, it can be difficult to remove the meat, but this one wasn't difficult at all. The inside stuffing was so tasty and really made this fish dish stand out! Highly recommend this and would definitely come back just to eat this rainbow trout! The Chicken Mtsvadi was pretty good, but a more standard dish of marinated chicken. Pork Chalaghaji ribs were also tasty. All entrees come with a dressed side salad. Many dishes are also topped with pomegranate seeds, which I thought was a great addition! Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience here. Get the Pkhali, Khachapuri, and Kalmakhi!
I like Bevri a lot and remember my first time eating Georgian food in their Palo Alto location. I did not know that wine was first created Georgia until then. I was excited to see them open up a second location in Los Altos. They have indoor and outdoor seating but we sat inside because it was cold. The decor is warm and comfortable. We tried the Georgian vodka for the first time which was good. Had to get the Kachapuri of course which was great...for my tongue but not my gut. It's ok to indulge occasionally in it but probably not daily, it's too rich for that. The fish was good too though you should be ok the way it is served...as the whole fish, eyes and all. Check out the robot clearing out the plates... a little tech to keep you amused. There was 1 waitress/manager who was great and I recognized her from the Palo Alto location. The other younger waitress was super grumpy, she said the right words but seemed annoyed to be there which was a bit of a downer. read more

I've never had the pleasure to try Georgian food before, but wow I have to say that I was blown away! They offer a bunch of different dishes and I tried to try their most popular ones. The service was amazing, being sure to give us suggestions as well as sharing the right way to eat the food in their culture. The restaurant has plenty of outdoor seating as well and it's perfect for a nice day out. Our dining experience was overall great and they were fairly busy for a Wednesday night too! (5/5) Khachapuri Adjaruli: This is a boat-shaped bread that's stuffed with cheese, butter, and an egg. This was actually mind-blowing. I have no other words to describe it because it was the perfect combination of melty cheese with an incredibly fluffy bread that soaked up all the flavor. It's a must order and their most popular dish! (5/5) Khinkali: These are Georgian dumplings and we ordered the ones with lamb. This dish almost reminded me of a Chinese soup dumpling but with a thicker dough and slightly different flavoring. It was really good and I loved how big each dumpling was too. (4/5) Lamb Kebab: These were super flavorful and served with potatoes and a salad. I really enjoyed these, but my only complaint is that the kebabs were slightly salty for my taste. (5/5) Chicken Tapaka: This dish is a cornish chicken that's perfect pan-fried and packed with so much flavor. The meat was incredibly juicy and not dry at all and it comes with the perfect side salad to enjoy along with the meat. (5/5) Winter Pear: This dessert is perfect for anyone who's not looking for something incredibly sweet. The pear is a little acidic from being cooked in wine but it pairs perfectly with the natural sweetness of the pear. read more

Above and beyond! My (now) fiancé planned a surprise dinner with friends and family. The staff were incredible, the ambiance was great/fun, and the food/drink was SO good. Everyone had a wonderful time and spoke highly of their experiences. As the only person with a severe allergy, they were able to accommodate my gluten free needs and provide alternatives. One of the best dishes of the night, a salmon salad was an alternative just for me. We will definitely return! Thanks for adding to our special day. :) read more
Comfortable seating, not busy on a Sunday night. Service was to the point. We tried the soup, the soup dumpling and the cheesy bread with butter and egg on top. The soup is like tomato beef soup with a bit of local spice, hard not to like. The soup dumplings are ok, indeed soupy inside, but compared to the Chinese XLB, I think this is lacking the flavor punch from meat in the right mix of spice and flavor. The cheese bread is a delight to kids and it has lots of cheese inside. But $23 seems pricey for a cheese pizza like kind, even with an egg on top. read more

In the same day I learned about Georgian cuisine i got to try it. It was delicious!! I'm a cheese lover for sure and definitely got my fix here. Great option for going with folks who are vegetarian. The Khachapuri imeruli (pizza looking one) was delicious and had crazy good stretch. It was so fun to watch them mix in the raw egg and butter in the Khachapuri adjaruli. The mkhlovana (new) had the most flavor because of the pesto, but I liked all the other dishes as well mostly due to the RICH flavor and gooey texture of the cheese (it was also NOT too oily at all). The bread part on all the dishes was soft and wonderfully complemented the cheese! The restaurant is nicely decorated and well lit. It was quite busy on a friday night. There's some street parking outside. They have a nice menu from scanning and paper menus and the staff are super friendly and helpful -- filling waters, allowing me to take pics, were very sanitary when mixing the khachapuris. read more

WOWWW! Delicious, unique, and authentic are the best words for Bevri. Nestled in Los Altos downtown with amazing outdoor and indoor seating Bevri is an amazing fast fine dining restaurant! The servers are very kind and attentive even when there are lots of customer cracking jokes here and there:)! We started off with a really cool drink called Tarkhun Tarragon soda which was a green drink that came out in a fancy glass authentic bottle. It looked like it was straight from Georgia! It was delicious and there was lots of it! It tasted like a super sweet and carbonated fennel drink. Very unique. For food we started with the Georgian special Khachapuri Adjaruli which was basically loads of delicious, steaming, and mildly pungent cheese in a boat of flaky, soft, and fresh bread. Now on the menu it makes it seem as if they just drop a raw egg yolk on the Khachapuri but that is not the case as our server clarified. Your server will mix the egg with the hot cheese partially cooking the egg making the cheese mixture even creamier! Very fulfilling and tasted like a superior fondue! After we got the Artichokes with Baje which were also amazing, but pales in comparison to the Khachapuri. The artichokes were well cooked with some kind of chilli oil on top of them which gave it a kick. The majority of the dish was really creamy mashed potatoes with cheese which were seasoned perfectly but they weren't anything crazy special! We only got one main dish because we were fulfilled just from the starters! I am so glad we got the Chicken Mtsvadi. The dish almost reminded me of Indian chaat because of the sweet zesty sauce on the potatoes and the green sort of chutney that came with the dish. The chicken was SOOO GOOD! It was PERFECTLY marinated and cooked! When complemented with the pomegranates for sweetness and crunch the chicken really elevated. The potatoes thought basic were cooked amazingly and the sweet zesty glaze on top of them just elevated the whole dish to another level. Finally after putting the tangy refreshing green "chutney" over the whole dish it tasted like heaven! OVERALL Bevri was amazing. It wasn't crazy expensive. In fact tips are not encouraged which was the weirdest thing I have seen! The servers were kind, the ambiance was beautiful, and the food was JAW DROPPING. For these three dishes which fed 3 people it ended up being $88 which wasn't bad at all for the quality. I definitely recommend Bevri to others and so am already planning my next visit! read more

Incredible meal every time! We've been to the Palo Alto location so we thought we'd stop by the new Los Altos location since it's closer to our place. Just as good! We started with a great bottle of wine ($44 -- insanely reasonable) and ordered the khachapuri, khinkali dumplings, and chalaghaji. The khachapuri is always a delight. The bread itself is incredible but add in the cheese, butter, and egg yolk? Say less. I think the chalaghaji is my favorite ribs of all time. The char and flavor are heavenly. The khinkali were massive and also delicious as well. Love the broth! We can't wait to come back and are so happy they opened a new location close to our place! read more

My family and I had an amazing and kid-friendly late lunch here. It looks upscale and trendy. Probably not my first choice to bring picky kids, but I was surprised to see my teen, preteen and 6 year old loving everything we ordered. I have been wanting to try Georgian food for a while and it was open between lunch and dinner. The staff were so welcoming and kind. Khachapuri was the star of the show but the dumplings were amazing as well. We followed the server's recommendations and ordered the pork ribs and kebab for our family to share. We also got the liver pate. Everything was great (especially the potatoes!). We are looking forward to coming here for cocktails and a proper date night. read more

My friend had her wedding reception here and it was an amazing experience. My phone died so I didn't get pictures of everything (and the resturant let me charge it there) - but all of it was so good, different, rich and flavorful, and the service was outstanding. Defiantly an amazing place for a group event, birthday, or holiday party. I started with a virgin narcissist which started a chain reaction of them being ordered with and without vodka - it was not too sweet and really good - the bartender is truly skilled. Then it was course after course after course of food. The spreads my section were torn on but since we each had our favorites - I loved the beet spread. It was surprisingly refreshing and very addictive. Then there were kabobs and this egg cheese butter and bread thingie that is just everything good all in one - must try if you go. The salad was different and probably wouldn't get it again but it was nice to try it. I'm forgetting a few corses - there was an insane amount of food and they gave us leftovers too. And besides the wedding cake they also brought us some delectable sweets - a few different things covered in chocolate, and the lightest napoleon I've ever tasted. It was just the right level of sweetness, crispy, flakey, and creamy all together. Truly an amazing experience and such a different but really good type of cuisine to try. Also how they handled the party of about 30 was really amazing - I've never left a wedding this stuffed but also it was so relaxing too. First time trying out Georgian food. Its like a cross between Slavic and Mediterranean food. Will come back to try more items on the menu. Service is good. Staff has very serious resting faces so they are probably not Americans. To me that means the food is probably legit read more

Liked this place a lot! It hovers around a 4.5 star rating from me! Khinkali (lamb) I was the most excited for this one. I didn't expect it to have broth inside like a xlb! But honestly, this was better than a xlb (xlbs are overhyped anyway, which i hope doesnt get my taiwanese card revoked) because the skin on it was amazingly thick and chewy. The little nub on top of it was delicious, I wish I could have just ordered a dish of the dough haha! The lamb inside was a little lackluster and one-note. I'm sure this is not authentic, but something mixed in with the meat, to give it a little textural contrast, would have improved it greatly, like chopped celery, perhaps? They also should have cracked more black pepper on the dumplings! Nonetheless, I will certainly be ordering this again whenever I see a menu with it. Ajapsandali I don't normally boil my bell peppers, or eat them with eggplant, but from now on I certainly will. This soup was delicious. Korcha Another very good soup. I would order the ajapsandali over this one though because you get more food in the former. Kachapuri imeruli It looked very nice and everyone at my table liked it a lot! Pkhali sampler I liked this one very much. After my meal, I looked up what was inside it and was very surprised, since pkhali is apparently made with walnuts, and I never thought about walnuts being cooked like this. It was so fun! And the balsamic drizzle was lovely. If you have never tried Georgian food like me, I would totally recommend ordering this to try something totally new. However, I don't like how they put oil on the bread paried with it since that just equals soggy bread. They should stop doing that. We came here near closing time so I didn't get to try dessert, sadly. I really wanted to order the vegan cheesecake thing! I hope I'll visit San Jose someday soon so that I can! read more

Huge disappointment -- skip that place. We went there after their Palo Alto location, with a huge respect to the Georgian culinary tradition, but it was not what we expected. First and foremost, quality of food is low. Second, the waiter had twice brought us wrong items: not the khachapuri that we ordered and then second glass of bubbles, that we also did not order. Everything was included into the check. Third, 20% tips for that kind of service -- are you kidding me? Avoid going there. read more
The ambience & staff are nice. However our waiter came to our table at 8:30 saying the kitchen is closing - on a Saturday night. Very disappointing. So as we're still in the middle of our dinner, we had to get dessert menu to order or miss it. - Kachapuri: Amazing, solid 5 stars for this dish. I'll be back to just eat this dish. The dough was soft, the cheese & egg were just sooo tasty. It was also a fun dish to eat, tearing off the bread and dipping in the cheese. - Mtsvadi: the chicken was better than the pork. The pork was so underwhelming & rather dry. The Chicken was cooked nicely & not dry. I didn't care for the tomato/ketchup sauce next to the pork. Didn't add flavor or help the dish. Potatoes were fine. - Chalaghaji (pork ribs): better than pork Mtsvadi but not great. We felt like eating at an American diner/BBQ place. Ribs were covered in BBQ sauce. Not sure what the red sauce next to it was for. Salad was standard. - Napoleon: It was fine, I didn't care for it but others seemed to enjoy it. Not memorable. - Poached Pear w/cream: I was excited cause I had this dessert at another places. This one didn't meet the expectations at all. Bevri Los Altos CA Soft Opening! Wed 5/25/22 © Elated to walk onto soft opening of Bevri's second location in my downtown Los Altos! Georgian cuisine, Georgian wines! I have learned in great detail how they're produced and stored, and how different the grapes are in comparison to our Californian wine regions varieties, or European French and Italian ones. I could write you a novel about that, but later my friends. First, the food! Bevri means A LOT in Georgian! Lack of Georgian representation in the San Francisco Bay Area was first broken by the owner Pavel in Palo Alto back in 2018. Great success! And now we have another spot here in Los Altos, hooray! Thank you Pavel, Maxim, and Tanya! Support local my friends! No brainer & a sure local hit for Khachapuri (hot and gooey cheese bread), Khinkali (Georgian-style juicy dumplings), and their absolutely unique list of Georgian wines! Dominik and Aiya are here! I attended a Ukrainian fundraising event at Bevri last night that provides medical supplies to Ukraine. First time in Bevri and I was very pleased to find this cozy place. The whole atmosphere is cozy, you're in an old European tavern with dimmed, comfortable lights. The staff is very efficient, helpful, and courteous. Everything is according to the Georgian traditions (I visited Georgia and their hospitality is one of the best in the world). Great food, and a great selection of very unique Georgia wines, plus Georgia chacha drink. If you're looking for a unique experience, a cool date, or just a casual dinner, please check this place out. It's going to be worth your time. read more

Came specifically to try their Khachapuri Adjaruli and Khinkali Dumplings. Went on a Wednesday night, so the restaurant was empty and service was quick and friendly. Interior was clean and each table lined up with the lighting nicely (almost as if you had your own spotlight for food pics) Khachapuri Adjaruli: I've only had this dish once at another restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised by it here. Definitely wasn't expecting the bread to be filled to the max with cheese and to have so much flavor on its own! It was also baked perfectly 10/10 Khinkali Dumplings: My first time trying this dish. We got the Pork & Beef. Love the thick, doughy wrap and how juicy and tender the filling was. I'm usually not a fan of cilantro, but it paired well with the pork and beef. We had been to the Bevri in Palo Alto once so knew what to expect. The menu seems to be the same or similar. I had the Pkhali, which I enjoyed: rosemary bread, eggplant rolls, and two spreads made from spinach and beets. My husband had the Chahohbili, a chicken stew with bell pepper, tomatoes, greens, and garlic. He enjoyed it, and finished it all. We tried the Khinkali, Georgian dumplings. They are meatballs inside dumplings in a broth. We were told to hold them by the knot on top, turn upside down then take a bit and drink the broth. We were unable to accomplish with without making a mess. My husband liked them; they were not really my kind of thing, but I wanted to try it out. read more

Yum! This is an awesome Georgian restaurant with great flavor! Went here for lunch with some friends, got one main dish and two appetizers. We rolled out super full! The cheesy bread is a must have! Staff is very nice and attentive, the restaurant is also pleasant. We sat inside but I think they have a few tables outside. Prices are kinda steep but, what can you expect in Los Altos ;) read more

Was in Los Altos doing errands and looking for some takeout to bring home, came across Bevri (soft opened in May). I've never had Georgian food but decided to try something new, and so glad that I did! Tried the pkhali dips, Georgian salad, and chicken mtsvadi, all were delicious (husband loved it too). Had a nice glass of Georgian wine while I waited for the food. We will be back to eat here next date night for sure! read more

Wow wow WOW! The food is AMAZING!! Had the bread with baked cheese with an egg and butter on top and the lamb dumplings. I paired these with a glass of Amber wine. Each dish was full of flavor. Everyone that worked there was very friendly. If you are in downtown Los Altos this restaurant is a MUST!! Sorry no pictures I devoured everything before I realized I didn't take pics. There is a cute piece of artwork that represents the food I had, and that I've included. This was my first experience with this type of food and loved it!! read more

Terrific time at Bevri sitting at the bar. The Liquid Gold cocktail was exceptional! So good! Love the vegetarian mushroom dumplings and pkhali sampler. The Staff are very wonderful people. Very gracious. They make it very enjoyable to be here ‼ read more

3 stars. Food is pretty expensive for the amount that you are getting. I paid $23 for a few pieces of chicken that were under seasoned.
