After a very popular pizza place in the area failed miserably to help me with my pizza order, big nicks came to the rescue. I ordered 5 pizzas and needed it to be done quickly. The person who answered the phone was very sympathetic as this was for an event and I needed it immediately due to the other pizza place dropping the ball. I probably should have gotten the people's names at Big Nicks, but they definitely did me a solid and came through. I got the pizzas hot and fresh, and quickly. They understood the urgency. This pizza was amazing, I did a half-and-half, but I did not enjoy the pineapple Canadian bacon side as much as I did the side with everything on it. I would definitely order from there again maybe next time try adding bacon bits to the pineapple and Canadian bacon but overall the flavor and the crust was actually really good! read more

Every time I decide to give their BBQ Chicken pizza another chance, I'm disappointed. They need to use a thicker sauce because the pizza always arrives dripping in runny sauce and grease. The pizza is soggy and the toppings slide right off. I've had BBQ Chicken pizza at plenty of other places and never had this issue. How they haven't changed the sauce by now is beyond me. My friend n I came to this place on a recommendation, and have been back almost everyday for the past few months (seriously)..We always get a salad no matter what, portion size is more than enough!! And they have the best wings!!..(ask for well done) fried/baked! Our guy is Christian, we love his service, knowledge of their food and recommendations. Just gave them another try, soggy greasy pizza, whole thing is like a soggy greasy bread with toppings. Don't ask for light sauce, they won't put any and then you'll have a piece of bread no sauce just cheese and toppings. Don't waste your time or money, over priced crap pizza. Also, girl that answers the phone has a bad attitude, sounds like the girl in the old movies that's filing her nails with the phone on her ear rolling her eyes. I came to order a pizza after reading Yelp reviews and after being tired of spending so much money and not getting anything from it so I was told this is better than Burratinos pizza that I was over. So first off the pizza arrived Luke warm BUT it was delivered so there's that. The amount of toppings I thought was ok. The dough was thick and chewy and I'm more of thinner crust with a crunch. Friends and I went here for lunch. Omg this place was so good portions are huge. The service was amazing I forgot the names of the two cashiers/servers but they were really nice and attentive. My wife and I have been customers for several years we are San Pedro lifers. Order a pizza and a sandwich.. I gave $10 tip for a $20 delivery. The pizza was fine, but the sandwich was mushy and had no flavor.. I called and asked if they would refund the money. I only took one bite out of the sandwich and they said you didn't order the right kind of sandwich they gave me all kinds of attitude. I came here yesterday and I just need to say, the Girls that work the front orders at the registers ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS look miserable. Every time I've gone they have such a weird passive-aggressive attitude towards me and other customers. It's kind of small inside limited seating maybe 6 tables so if you plan on eating there I would call and see if it is packed . The food is good. Love Big Nick's Pizza was introduced a few years ago And it's a favorite forsure.
