There are probably many excellent places to get an oil change, but the difference maker for this Big O Tires location is their level of service that borders on a hotel's hospitality. I took my vehicle in around 830am and the wait was minimal. Within 30-45 minutes they were able to diagnose the issues and provided me with a quote for the repairs. The quote was very reasonable for 2 tires, an alignment and to have the rear brakes cleaned. Michael was great to work with. The price I was initially quoted was for the wrong size tires. The tires I needed were more expensive and I was not charged the difference in price due to the error. They also repaired one of my rear tires at no cost. I am so relieved that I purchased tires from this Big O Tires! First of all, I purchased 4 tires about a year ago and they came with a warranty. After getting a hole, I stopped at the location on Arapahoe Rd in Greenwood Village. They looked at my tire, explaining that it couldn't be repaired and I'd need a new tire. I kept explaining I had purchased the tires at Big O and I thought I had a warranty. He looked for my account and continued to explain I'd have to buy a new tire (plus service, alignment and new warranty, etc.) Instead of dropping almost $400, I sucked it up and decided to drive to the Big O where I originally purchased the tires. Once there, it was finally explained to me that the customer database is not connected to each store. Instead of the original shop explaining that to me, they tried to take advantage of me by making me purchase a new tire. Don't EVER go to the Big O on Arapahoe Rd. They are corrupt and prey on unsuspecting customers. Glad I went to this location again who were extremely professional and prompt. read more

As a follow-up to my previous review I have to say I'm impressed by Brandon, the owner's response and the dedication that Wes and the mechanic showed in keeping a promise. Brandon reached out to me shortly after my 1star experience. 7/10 to be exact. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. I've been packing and moving and wanted to forget the whole ordeal but my van still seemed to be having alternator issues. Last week or early this week I noticed I had a voicemail from a number I ignored previously. It was from Brandon, the owner of this Big O location. I didn't call back immediately partly because I vowed never to go back. I talked to the manager at another location and he once again referred me back to Big O Havana. He said he heard there were major changes in staff recently and if Brandon had reached out I should give him a chance. So I called Brandon back. He apologized for the negative experience I had and told me it shouldn't have happened. He didn't make excuses but assured me that he took my feedback seriously and made changes to both staff and procedures so it wouldn't happen again. He asked me to come in so they could find out what was going on. If it wasn't the alternator they would continue looking until they found the problem and once they did we could discuss the next step. Finally, that was what I ultimately wanted. To rule out the alternator and to find out what the real problem was. He also promised not to keep it for days on end. Lol. I agreed and took my van the following morning. Brandon and Wes both apologized. They thanked me for the opportunity to make things right and Brandon even gave me a ride home. Because my van didn't always misbehave, I was worried they wouldn't be able to find the problem and would send me on my way. I was equally worried it might be more than one factor and they wouldn't look beyond finding the first. Finally I got a call from Wes. It was the alternator. He assured me that they would test the new alternator several times and go back over my van to make sure that there wasn't another contributing factor. It was about 5:30 They close at 6 and I would have been fine if they kept it over night but Wes said they wouldn't do that to me again. They had it for a total of 9 days before. Finally Wes called to let me know he was on his way to pick me up. They tested the alternator several times and made sure the alternator was the only factor. Then Wes picked me up so I didn't have to find a ride. Although nothing will erase my bad experience Brandon, Wes and the awesome mechanic who worked on my van went above and beyond. They showed me that they valued me as a customer. Most importantly they made sure my van is safe to drive. Thank you Brandon for reaching out to me as quickly as you did after my previous encounter. My truck blew a tire today while on the road and to my surprise I had no spare tire. Luckily I was near this Big O tire. As I rolled in with my flat tire fearing that the repair would take all day having to to wait as you do with most shops. The man at the front desk saw me and met me in the parking lot. I explained my situation that I had to get to an appointment. He evaluated my tires and suggested all new tires or he could just fix the one I had. He pointed out the balding issues. And a great price for all four and offered to take me to my appointment a few miles away. And pick me up when my truck was ready. Wow I was blown away that they would offer to do this. Needless to say I made my appointment. They picked me up. And I got to tell you my truck feels GREAT to drive. I feel much safer to say the least. Thanks Big O you saved the day. read more

First time at this Big O Tires. My dad called from outta town, had my new tires shipped to this specific location and scheduled me an appointment for 10:30 am. He even spoke with the manager Tim to make sure everything went well. Tim was the only person that I talked to and he was very polite and very sincere when apologizing for the delays. However, saying there was a "delay" is an understatement. I had a pre-scheduled appointment to put on my new tires at 10:30am. It is now 1:30pm, and I'm STILL here writing this review. I was told it would take 30-45 minutes (which in reality, we all know it doesn't take THAT long to put tires on. NASCAR can do it in 7 seconds, but whatever). I walked a mile to Target, roamed around there for an hour, walked over to Buffalo Wild Wings, placed a to-go order, waited for my order, then walked the mile back to Big O and my car STILL didn't even have tires on. Now they're trying to tell me I need a slight alignment and want me to wait another 30-45 minutes. Its now 1:45 and I'm FINALLY leaving a little over 3 hours later. I'm so annoyed because I spent a good portion of my afternoon sitting in a "showroom". Not impressed. The ONLY reason this place got 3 stars is because of the awesome manager. read more

STAY AWAY from this CHOP SHOP. Chuck and everyone at this location are liars and thieves. Not only did they put my winter tires on backwards but this last time I went in for an alignment. I was told I need extensive work done on my car for the alignment to be done. I made an appointment with my auto mechanic immediately. They told me they were booked for a little over a week. I rented a car in fear I would cause more damage to my car by driving it. I was finally able to see my mechanic on Monday. They had my car all day trying to figure out what big O and the boys over there we're talking about. I get a call late Monday with the great news that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car and that I could pick it up at anytime. If you think this won't happen to you go for it but it will soon be you writing a horrible review for this company. Thanks big o for my lost wages and money spent renting a car. read more

Been a happy customer here for ten years at least but no more. Came in to swap out my winter tires for my all seasons early Saturday, as a walk in, like I have done for years. Said they had appointments all morning. Asked to make an appt for later in the day and was told they don't do same day appointments. They received two stars because they did go to the warehouse for the tires but they said they couldn't do the tire alignment unless they put in this after market cam which would cost $600. They also said there was a rebate for Michelin tires that I could go online but never provided me with the details. I am not pleased with this store. read more

I went in yesterday to change out my tires from snow to summer. While waiting the guy at the front informs me that my tire pressure sensor was found broken and it was rolling around in the tire. He told me that it must have happened when I had the tires changed before or maybe I hit something. He offers to put a new one in for $83. I told him that my car is fairly new and that I would contact the dealership. Not knowing anything about tire pressure sensors I call my husband who is a certified mechanic. He explains to me that if it were broken prior to coming in I would have got a signal code displayed on my dash. I've never had the sensor display prior to this visit. I go back to talk to the employee and he then changes his story to say that it wasn't broken but that the mounting piece was broken. After questioning him his whole attitude changes towards me. When I pay for the bill I still feel not okay with the situation but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt until I can talk to the dealership and get a better understanding. I left with all the broken pieces which were all bent. The dealership looked at it and they confirmed exactly what my husband had said that they most likely broke it when switching the tires. They also said that the sensor would have came on prior to the visit. So, I call the shop back and ask to speak the manager. Well the manager was the person I spoke to before. After I told him that I believe the technician broke the senor and someone was not being honest he was argumentative with me and said that he was less likely to help me now that I insinuated his staff was lying. I didn't want to argue with him anymore so I asked for the owner's name and phone number and he refused to give it to me. He finally forwarded me to the voice mail and I have yet to hear from the owner, Brandon Elder. I never had such bad experience. I walked away with not only a broken part on my car which is going to cost me $200 but I lost all trust and respect for Big O. I will never bring my car to this Big O or any Big O. Maybe to them this is no big deal but for me I could use the $200 to put towards something else. If I could give them zero stars i would. read more

I am delayed in writing this but feel I need to. After spending quite a bit of time on the internet searching for my tires I went to Big O. Once there I got a quote that was reasonable and I had them installed. After picking up my car and driving home learned that my tires had the most incredible road noise! Parked my car and got out and looked - they installed the wrong tires! I called the shop immediately and let them know - of course they offered to install the right tires but I declined. The tires were the same manufacturer and very similar - slight differences but I could live with it. I like the tires, great in the snow - just very noisy. The biggest reason I didn't go back was time. I had been recently diagnosed with cancer and had surgery scheduled - spending another day on car maintenance was the last thing on my agenda. So I didn't. Now this next item. I'm driving one day about almost two months later and my oil light comes on - yes I'm due for an oil change but my car is only a few years old, still under warranty and a pretty tight little machine - no oil leaks. I ended up pouring 3 quarts in and then contacted my brother to see if I can head over and so we can work on my car. My brother rebuilds cars and has the tools and the space - just not a lot of time. He was available and so I went over. Now - I worked as a service advisor for ten years - I've spent a lot of time around cars and know more than some guys and more than most women. Turns out my oil filter was loose. !!! Big O was the last shop under my car - my previous oil change was a few months back - I honestly can't pin this on them, but between the wrong tires and mysterious loose oil filter - I have no confidence in this shop. Huge regrets because now I'm not comfortable going in there for tire rotation. Which I do religiously. I'm going to have to search for someplace to get that done but I see the Big O shops around town don't get the highest ratings. If I do go back to Big O - I will insist on watching them do the work - if they won't let me - I'll take my business elsewhere. Keep wondering if I shouldn't have stayed with discount tire where I've always gotten great service and I've been confident it was done right. Big O gets the 3 stars because they treated me well and they did offer to put the correct tires on - but no more than that for my lack of confidence in their ability to do the job right. read more

These guys WILL cheat you! I took my car here to get four tires mounted, balanced and have an alignment done. The ONLY reason I took me vehicle here instead of to a guy I trust is because the dealer I bought the car from agreed to reimburse me for these costs as part of the sales contract. He told me to tell them I was coming in referred by the dealer and they would give me a discount price. I called to set up an appointment, mentioned the dealers name and the phone guy said "sure no problem, I'm making a note of it". I came in for the appointment where they mounted and balanced the 4 tires and then told me that it needed tie rod ends and boots, I went to look on the car and saw that, yes, the car needed them so I said sure. They told me about 2.5 hours till they finished the car, would I like to wait? Having been there an hour already and with nothing else urgent I elected to wait. I waited 2.5 hours, and seeing that they hadn't even taken my car back to the work bays was then told that they had a problem with another car and they'd reschedule for the next day. I came in the next day and waited again. After 2 hours the car was done, I paid and left. I went to the dealer with the receipts to get reimbursed, where he told me that they had in fact NOT given me his discount, charging me $80 each for alignment and the tire work where the total cost should have been $95. We called Big O who said that I had requested a lifetime warranty on the work and that they had given me his pricing. I requested NO SUCH THING. I looked at the receipts again and there is NO lifetime warranty. They never mentioned a warranty, which I would never buy, and just lied. I don't even trust that the work was done correctly now. NEVER go to these guys unless you want your wallet to get raped. read more
