Fantastic customer service! The power window on my Element suddenly stopped working late Saturday afternoon (it was down and wouldn't go back up) and I needed to find an auto shop that could fix it on short notice. I called Big O Tires. The manager, Wes, said that his shop could definitely get the window back up temporarily and that the full repair could be done early next week. I took my car in and it turned out that Big O Tires could replace the motor and regulator that same day! I appreciated the prompt service and the price was considerably lower than the quote from the Honda dealership. Very relieved and grateful! read more

I made an appointment for 10 a.m. this morning, 3 afternoons ago. Got scheduled and brought my car in for an alignment, although I was running about 5 minutes behind. Got checked in and gave them my keys. I was told they were short staffed and it will take about an hour to an hour and a half. I know all about being short staffed, the place I work at has been since I started there. I expected some wait time, and an hour and a half wasn't horrible. There were 3 techs working and 3 manager types manning the counters up front. It wasn't until 6 after 2 p.m. when my car was finally up on the lift. I watched a half dozen other people who arrived after me, leave before I did. At 2:35, the tech pulled my finished car into a parking space and put the paperwork and my keys in the "finished" slot. The 3 manager types helped out another customer and I figured I would be next. Instead, they went back to their conversation. I finally walked to the counter and asked to pay and get my key back. They looked at me like I had 3 heads, before looking to see my paperwork was the only one left. One of them finally checked me out and gave me my key, I asked if I could get a discount for having to wait 4.5 hours for 25 minutes worth of work (they weren't going to voluntarily give me one.) They did give me $10 off, which was good, but again, only after I asked them. The car drives straight as an arrow now, the work was done very well. I'm happy with the end result, but the wait killed half of my day off. I suggest leaving extra time for your repair work if you go to this location. read more

Went in for a slow leak in my front tire. The wheel was cracked, and the salesman said that I needed new wheels. It's a Mercedes Benz CLK550 and needed all four replaced in order to match. I asked if I could get it repaired and he said no, that it would never balance and would always wobble. I purchased four new wheels - they wobbled and I could not drive it. They told me that because of the center dust cap, the wheels would not fit properly. I went to the Mercedes dealership and they told me that the old wheels could be fixed and gave the number to two people that could fix it. I told this to Big O Tires but they told me I could not return them because they are special order. They finally called me and told me that the manufacturer would take them back and to take my time. The information was in the system and I could return them any time. It took two weeks to get my old wheels fixed and I took them to Big O Tires to take off the new wheels and put the old ones back on so I could get them returned. They told me that it had been too long and now the manufacturer would not take them back. They then said that they could take the new wheels on consignment and would sell them for $1000.00. A few weeks later, I went in and the person that I was working with was no longer there and they didn't know where my wheels were. 1) They lied to me saying that my old wheels could not be fixed. 2) Then they stole my new wheels that were paid in full. I have nothing, no wheels but have paid. The new manager acknowledged that my wheels were there during inventory but are not missing. He stated that he was reviewing security camera footage but hasn't determined what happened yet. This episode has been going on for six months and I have little hope for resolution. The one thing that I know is that I am out $1200.00 and have nothing to show for it. This store WILL steal from you and then smile about it the next day. If you are smart (at least smarter than me), you will avoid Big O Tires. read more

My original review was a rant - I'll admit it. However, I believe I deserved that rant. They did screw up in ways that made my life unhappy. However, you can often tell a lot more about a business when it screws up than when it doesn't. Enter Brian. Brian saw what happened, figured out the good, the bad and the guilty, straightened it all out, gave me a ride back to the store and offered a discount for my trouble. Ok, that I can live with. The car runs great and they did their best to make things right after the screw up. So five stars for great service to the car, minus two for screwing up what they told me, plus one for a great second effort = 4 stars overall. read more

I have reviewed before. Back in 2012 my service was not that great then. I gave them another chance. I now live on the total opposite side of Denver and I still bring my car here. About 4 months ago I had about 3k worth of work done, mechanical and new tires. etc. There was a minor hiccup in that visit but nothing major. My main complaint is this last visit. I dropped off my car on January 19th to get an engine mount replace. The quote was 60 dollars. That is a great deal. I had errands to run so I went and rented a car at Enterprise for a few hours while I was waiting on my car. I got a call from Tim and he needed me to come by to check out something. We found something else wrong on the car which I do not blame them whatsoever. I am happy they found the damage and had me come and look at it. He then quoted me that the part would be 500 dollars because it is a dealer only part, we would have to have it shipped overnight so that they could get the car done by Thursday because they were busy and the mechanic to work on the car was out on Wednesday. I understood and agreed to that. This is where the complaint starts. I called on Thursday to verify that my car would be done Thursday so I would not have to pay for another day with the rental. He said that they tried to deliver the part on Wednesday and there was no check to accept the delivery, and then they tried to deliver the part again on Thursday morning and they still did not have the check to accept the part. So he was going to get the part delivered Thursday afternoon. This then caused them to not be able to get the repairs completed on Thursday and I am stuck with paying for another day for a rental. Friday I called in the morning to verify it would be done by 1 so I did not have to pay for another full day of a rental. He assured me it would be done by 1 including the tire rotation and the alignment check. Picked up my car and paid and was on my way. Later that evening I was driving around and noticed a very faint unusual noise coming from the back end of the car. My passenger couldn't even tell what I was trying to point out. At our next stop we got out and I went around to the back tire. The tire was missing 2 lug nuts, and 2 of them were loose and I could remove them with my fingers. . . I called and left a VM for them to call me the next day. He called me Saturday morning and told me he was very sorry for the mess up and he looked over the tape and the person that did the tires did not torque any of the tires. I took my car in, they had to buy new lug nuts that are not matching anymore, and they torqued all of the tires. I expressed my concerns and mentioned, had this been anyone else such as my mother who can barely notice that her tire is flat, she would have been on the highway and that tire would have come clean off. This is unacceptable. He said that he has reprimanded the employee but the employee is going to be leaving in a month anyways so it really does no use. . . He said he is going to take care of my next oil change. I am not sure I see that to equal out to the 1000 dollars I just spent there, plus I had to pay for the 50 dollars for the overnight and they did not get it overnight because they did not have the money to pay for it, and the extra 50 for the extra day of rental. My feelings are very mixed because Tim was great to work with but I think they could have done something more to make up for these errors. It may be time to look for another company. read more

The staff was friendly over the phone when I called to find out if I could come in for an estimate for my car repairs. The wait time for the initial estimate wasn't bad considering there were several other people ahead of me. I was pleased to discover that the estimate was significantly lower than that of the other place I had checked out. I had to wait around the rest of the day for the repairs to be completed since the part didn't arrive until later in the afternoon, but the staff was nothing but friendly and offered me free refreshments (best decaf coffee I've ever had!). I cannot fathom the audacity that some of the employees have at the Havana location. JOEY WOZNIAK, you are a piece of shit and you know it. I went in for an oil change, tire rotation and later had agreed to replace my front brake rotors because they were at a 2/10 scale. I was originally quoted $679 and some change, I was concerned, but fine, I agreed to it. After the labor was done, and I returned to pay, another employee notified me that the quote was not correct. I have a 2015 Kia Soul (NOT ELECTRIC), I was quoted for an Electric-Powered Kia Soul. The final price I paid was $536.06; if I didn't go to Trent, I would have been overcharged over $140. Once again, it was JOEY WOZNIAK who TRIED to scam me, I hope the owner sees this because Joey has a lot of fucking nerve trying to scam customers. On top of that, his unfriendly, half-baked customer service is disgusting. He never looked up from his fucking phone when I came in trying to get help. And answering my questions as if I were an idiot. Thank you, TRENT HIGBEE for being transparent with me and fixing my quote to the correct charge. Excellent service and savings compared to my Mercedes dealership. I shopped around and my tires and installation were half the price here vs Mercedes Denver. They also were the only tire shop in town that could get the same tires as Mercedes. I called and got a quote on the phone. They ordered the tires Friday and they were there Monday. Worth the weekend to wait when the price was half the dealership. My car was serviced Monday in about an hour so I could wait for it over my lunch. Waiting area was quiet and clean with coffee, water and tea. Mike also followed up the next day to make sure the car was driving well and to see if I had any additional questions or needs. read more

So, after having one pretty bad experience, I reluctantly tried these imbeciles again. Whoops...that was a mistake!! From Store Manager, hilarious term for this bumpkin, Dave, on down the line - THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!! All they care about is coming up with one more thing to fix on your car. And odds are, that one thing is gonna be another $200...sorry. I dropped my car and told them I would love to grab it early afternoon tomorrow. I was informed this would be no problem by their Asst. Manager (Tim, I believe). I called the following day at noon wondering the timetable, they said only had the alignment left should be done soon and we'll call. 4pm rolls around, I call, oh sorry, it's been down for about an hour you can come get it...duuuh, thought somebody called you. Really, you morons, really? Not to mention, they can't even work their POS system. After choking down the fact I had to drop $825, I wanted to pay $600 in cash and the rest on the card. But guess what, they dropped the ball again as they couldn't figure out how to work their computer and I had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes while they figured out how to split the payment (had to call the corporate office to figure this out and have them fix things remotely.) So, I am finally out the door, get to the car and it won't start because the battery is now dead. To which I was greeted with a it's not our fault, but I guess we can jump you. Are you serious? The car has been starting fine and suddenly not so much? After some dumbass mechanic probably left the lights on inside the car after pulling it from the bay in your shop. I mean, these are definitely not the sharpest knives in the drawer. And then the icing on the cake, after spending $825, they didn't even top off my windshield washer fluid. Unbelievable. It's not the biggest deal, obviously, but after spending that kind of money this lit my fuse and sent me here to tell you all that this place sucks. I will never go back!! After doing considerable shopping I went into this big O to get my new all season tires. In previous years I've always waited until after it snowed and then I had to wait in a long line and pay higher prices. I was able to get a great deal on great tires in plenty of time for that Colorado early snows. Everyone was friendly professional and very easy to work with. While my car was in getting its new tires I also went ahead and had an oil change. The price was very reasonable and my car is running great. Charged nearly $40 for a replacement headlight bulb and installation, but the work was never done or they replaced the bulb that worked. Noticed it Saturday evening after they closed. Also paid $40 for a replacement gas cap for a p0442 code (check engine light), light was still on when the vehicle was picked up. If the cap didn't resolve the issue, why charge me for it and let me leave with the vehicle?!? The man Who waited on me lied to my face. He said my Oil light was on when it wasn't!! My son told me he changed my oil three weeks prior. He didn't tell me because I was sick at the time. He also deleted my news channel on my stereo in my vehicle because he didn't like that station. What station is Fox News. That asshole had no business touching my stereo. They have a welcoming staff that treats customers and their needs with a great level of care. Further, the building is well-kept with TLC and a comfortable customer waiting area is provided. This place is TERRIBLE. I hit something metal on the freeway and then my tire sensor turned on. I took my car into the Havana location because I assumed there was a hole in the tire as I knew I hit something. I told the guy all of this information and he said they could fix it. I waited there for 2 hours for them to look at my tire. Towards the end, they start closing up the office and the guy says there is a hole in the tire and they will patch it up. He then said I won't charge you for the patch up as you waited for so long. I said oh that's really nice Thank you. They bring my car and a different guy says he didn't find a whole but they did some other stuff to my tire. That makes no sense, so there was a hole and now you didn't find one? Not even a minute after I left the place, my sensor turned back on. I pulled over and called them right away. They went on to tell me that my tire is ok and to keep driving on it and the sensor should reset and turn off in 30 minutes. I drove back home which is about 20 minutes and the next day, my sensor was still on. I looked at my tire and it even looked low. I took it to another place the next morning and they pulled my tire off, brought it to me and showed me a 1 to 1 1/2" gash in my tire!!! That big o tires supposedly fixed or didn't even find a whole depending on which guy you were talking to. Complete bullshit, they probably lied to get me out of the shop so they could finish closing and go home. That's not even the end of it... I called Big O Tires after I saw the gash in my tire. Asked to speak to the manager and told him what happened. He asked for the picture and went on to say he'll check with the guy who "fixed" my tire to see if this happened after I left their shop.... Ummm WHAT? Worst excuse ever and makes absolutely no sense. I specifically went in there for a whole in my tire and you're going to try and say it happened after I left your shop?? If you're going to lie and be a crook, come up with a better reason. He said he would call me back but I haven't heard back from this "manager" and probably won't. He didn't seem to care that they risked my life by leaving a gash in my tire for me to drive on. I bet they would have cared if I got in a car accident and sued them. Don't ever go to this place. I have never had such a bad experience with anything in my entire life. No wonder they didn't charge me for the patch job because they didn't actually do anything to my tire.
