The food great. We started with an appetizer of pimento cheese. It was enough for 2 but wouldn't recommend it for more. The cocktail I had was good, but most the drinks in Arkansas lean on the weak side. We split chicken strips and a burger. The chicken was moist and tasty. I was really impressed with their veggie and vegan options - they even offer soy ice cream to make any of their shakes dairy free! I ordered the falafel and curried lentil sandwich which was fantastic. It was perfectly seasoned and the side of sweet potato fries I ordered were divine. None of the entrees come with fries, which is the only bummer. You will have to order those separately and it gets a little pricey. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere. It was clean, service was friendly and mostly efficient, and I loved the touch of fresh flowers on every table. "My new favorite place" we ordered the classic burger, the farmers burger, the American bacon and cheddar burger and a gluten free smashed avocado turkey burger. Burgers were followed by two orders of fried: classic and gluten free garlic truffle fries. I chose to forgo the gluten free bun and enjoy the fries from a dedicated gfree frier. Although the bun looked amazing, my hips do not need the calories.... ha! Thanks big orange for thinking of us with gluten allergies! The milkshakes set us over the top! I ordered the Umami Burger and my fiance ordered the White Truffle Burger. The only two burgers we usually order. They usually come out perfect and delicious! Whoever cooked yesterday around 1-2pm should be fired. There is no excuse for the lack of attentiveness of food safety. Our food came out in less than 8 minutes. We thought it was weird but nonetheless, we were super excited and impressed!! Well, come to find out, it was so fast because it wasn't fresh whatsoever! (Very soggy patties) There is a big difference between Medium cooked burgers and grayish, old soggy patties. They were old patties and old toppings! Within an hour after eating, both of us felt extremely sick and we've had stomach problems following into the next day (today) and it is now 3:30pm. Again, no excuse! Management needs to take care of this asap. Let people who WANT to work on holidays. The ones who don't want to work, keep them at home. They don't care. We will not be coming back at all. read more

Fun spot in Little Rock! There are a variety of menu items to choose from - salads to burgers and their popular truffle fries. We were still pretty full after a big meal earlier in the day, so my mom had a salad and I had a falafel burger. We both enjoyed our meals and I especially loved the lemon-lime drink I got. You could tell it was made in house and was very refreshing. The falafel burger was a little salty, which is why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 4. It gets fairly busy, so I would recommend calling in early to get a table on the weekends. The interior and ambience is super bright and busy. It's a fun place for a group of friends or nice pregame spot. I always appreciate menus that are limited and don't overwhelm you with different types of foods. Big Orange specializes in burgers and shakes and that's exactly what I went with. I tried the Umami Bomb with sweet potato waffle fries and a Dulce de Leche shake for dessert. It was definitely a lot of food, but worth every regretful calorie. I also tried the truffle fries which I will definitely get next time. Overall this is somewhere that I will definitely be back to! Last time I visited, I had the Strawberry Milkshake and it was the best milkshake I had ever had. This time I ordered the Oreo cookie milkshake and it was so amazing! The milkshakes here look so gorgeous too! The appetizer and drinks came out very quickly and were delicious! The house made chips were wonderful and my husband enjoyed his honey ale beer. I ordered a Moscow mule that was perfect and our kids had a cookies and cream shake and a strawberry shake that I imagine were good because they were quickly gone! It took a bit for our meals to come out but not what I felt was an unreasonable amount of time. I think the drink orders just came out WAY faster than other restaurants and that caught our attention as a big positive! My husband had a double cheese burger with fried onions, I think it was a monthly special called the El Reno? Our son had a double cheese burger, I had the bacon avocado burger, and our daughter had the kids chicken and fries. My husband and son thought that the meat on their burgers lacked any seasoning and seemed bland. I disagreed with them at first as mine was delicious...as long as I had some bacon and avocado in my bite it turned out. Our daughter's chicken was also lacking in seasoning but everything was good with some of the delicious BOBs sauce added!!! This was my first time at Big Orange having moved to AR only several months ago. I ordered the White Truffle and Pecorino burger. It came with fig jam, and I love sweet and savory combinations on burgers. It was really good! I enjoyed it a lot and would get it again. I actually enjoyed their Truffle Garlic Herb Fries more than the burger haha. They were seasoned well and sooo crispy. Dipped with the garlic aioli makes it even better. read more

If you plan to make a reservation for a large group, don't count on this place to honor your reservation. I called a day ahead for a party of 10. Was told that would work just fine. I got a text to confirm the reservation and everything. My party gets to the restaurant and are told they don't have a table for us. They claimed they tried calling me and I never answered. When I asked what number they called, I was told "I'll have to go look at our records." I never received a call. I was told that confirming through yelp didn't work here. One family member had the black Angus, white truffle burger, it was delish! Their sweet potato fries are nice and crispy and they know how to take them right! I had the Thai salad with their homemade dressing and it was excellent. The chocolate shakes were absolutely delicious and the kids loved them. The other ones in our party ordered hamburgers and we didn't have one complaint. One of the things that really makes this restaurant stand out is the numerous dipping sauces they serve with their menu items. The bacon jam is really good, not to be missed. I love burgers and this has probably been the best one I've had so far since moving to the region.
