Loved the staff, loved the bagel, loved the coffee. Great service honestly. I would say that it's pricey though. For a bagel and 2 coffees it was $16. That's the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5

It's been years since I've updated my review... I always go through the drive thru now. The drinks are always good but most times (like today) they will hand me a drink that's leaking all over and make me have to ask for napkins. Today the girl seemed so surprised that I needed one. Like you don't feel or see the iced coffee all over the outside of the cup? Very odd. Definitely join their rewards program and get a physical card from them for it. They scan it each time and you get your 12th drink (I think) free. You also get a free drink on your birthday. Wednesdays they have a $3 deal on all drinks of a certain size (20 oz).

If you want a gourmet coffee experience with friendly staff and down-to-earth ownership please pay them a visit. They are welcoming and always ready to serve you delicious, skillfully made coffee. My husband actually introduced me to this company because he was a big fan. I actually posted my order one day to my social media and was pleasantly surprised by the ownership reaching out to me thanking me for the post. I will say this makes a big impression to know that they care so much about their customers. This isn't just me talking nice about them though because my husband has been coming to them for years. They really do have a solid grasp on coffee and what their customers want. We always look forward to our next visit!

Love love love Biggby! Get a Biggby card so you can rack up points to earn a free drink. Iced, hot, frozen- each drink is delish! My fave is a teddy bear latte hot or a frozen chai tea latte. They also have food- my kids love their Bragels!

Pass.... There are better coffee shops within a three mile radius...Bitter coffee, expensive refill prices, and copy cat menu.

The baked goods are provided by a local baker; my raspberry lemon poppyseed muffin was terrific. So two marks for the quality of the coffee and baked goods, and friendly service. Summit Coffee scores a three out of three for their interior space. (They do have outdoor seating; I'll be back in cooler weather for that.) With tall ceilings and wide windows, SC is bright and airy, and their decor is understated elegant: nice touches here and there that reinforces the care gone into creating a relaxing space.

I'll start this off and I hate doing this but I hate Nexton, it's such a fake and ingenious effort…read moreto be a trendy, albeit 20 years late to the party, town; one that is pretending to be upscale yet being downscale but charging upscale prices when not needed. What follows is the marching orders to all other places doing the same thing. Give me a McDonalds with from the 80s with an exterior that dared to be unique, not part of the 1984 (read the book) agenda. This brings me to Summit coffee; I absolutely hate the exterior. Devoid of life, soul and any unique presence. However, I'm not really here to write about a drab exterior but coffee! Let's go inside, shall we? Summit coffee establishment is located is on the outskirts of Nexton proper, easily accessible by foot and with a sterile atmosphere. One oddity I noticed is the place doesn't smell of coffee, which I found interesting. Sadly the inside is as lifeless as outside. It looks like a they paid a cleaner to remove all vestiges of life while only leaving a spec here or there to meet a quote. Ok, enough with aesthetics as I've complained enough, The staff is quick to help out and offer good suggestions when they're asked. Being a former comedian, I tried to whip up some jokes to compensate for my utter boredom, the ladies were nice enough to laugh. Needless to say, the women here had a heart. They made good suggestions but I was curious why their pastry display only had like a handful of items, did they make them or get them from the grocery store? I don't know but I was only here for coffee. I did like some of the creativity - a banana creampie latte - sounds like something.... Nevermind but all props for creativity. Birthday cake latte didn't sound good for the waistline but another attempt at creativity - I love it! But I opted to go for my own flavor. A lack of options for addins, I mean literally no hazelnut, almond etc. Well, I did the best I could - Latte with 2 shots caramel and 1 vanilla. I can honestly say it was "mid" at best. The roast didn't resonate while the lack of options made it feel so generic like I couldn't play the part of an evil scientist mixing a crazy concoction. But it beats McDonalds. Oh, they do have "the world's best granola" which I made several jokes about, even encouraging other customers by saying "if you were in France and ordered granola, they would talk about Summit's granola, after all it's the world's best!" Yes, I was being the overfriendly annoying customer, b/c I was bored. At least there were some laughs. Sadly, there's nothing about Summit that stands out. I hate saying that for local businesses but I want to be authentic. Stop by if .... Well, I'm not sure why so just stop by, I guess.

We ordered the chai latte, cold brew with caramel and oat milk, and a slice of earl grey carrot cake. We added sweet coconut cold foam to both drinks. I was astonished to pay $19 for those 2 drinks and another $8 for a very small slice of cake. Chai latte- Found it to be okay...nothing super special about it. Cold brew- It reminded me of this specific sesame grain drink with barely any coffee taste. Could not finish. Carrot cake- It was moist and the frosting was good. No part of it tasted like earl grey imo. I would skip on the sweet coconut cold foam as it barely provides sweetness to your drink, which in turn, is not worth the additional cost. Overall, it was a nice place to cool down and the atmosphere was alright. The interior is aesthetic and well designed. Coffee is not really special and cake is good. Wallet may shed a tear.

My gripe is that they use Minor Figures oatmilk which, in my opinion, ruins espresso-based drinks. I always ask what oatmilk is used before I order. Do a blind taste test against oatly...trust me. I also liked the patio out back. I hope that area continues to blossom!!
