This place has friendly service and ok coffee I just am not a fan of it's childish cutsey take on coffees. They have all these chocolately and flavored coffees like "Mocha Mountain Grizzly bear" "butter bear" etc... It's a bit over whelming to someone used to just ordering a double shot latte. Eventually, a bit off-put at the menu, I said "Uhhh f*^k it I'll just take a small black coffee" that would be "the baby black bear" btw. I just wonder who's drinking the coffee here? The service and atmosphere at Biggby Coffee is exceptional and friendly! I have been going there for years. The coffee is delicious and some of the best we ever had! Although I know mistakes may happen, we have never had an incorrect order. Ever! If I ask for a drink to be modified, for example adding an extra shot, the servers do it with a smile! The coffee really is great! Our entire family loves this place! We also stock up on the bagged coffee to make at home. In fact, one of the baristas there told us about using a French press. Wow! We are spoiled now! We enjoy our mornings with the great taste of Biggby coffee! I am not sure what the roasters do to get a superior coffee taste. So before today I have never had bigby's coffee. My mom and I saw the sign that said three dollar lattes on wednesdays and decided to give it a go. I must say that it is one of the best coffees I've ever had. My mom said that her coffee literally tasted like pumpkin pie in a cup. I got a frozen caramel latte. It was delicious I and I even dare to say that it tasted better than dunkin donuts coffee. If you're feeling a bit adventurous today, I definitely recommend trying coffee at bigby's. Nice, clean place. Decent amount of room on the inside to sit and work on the lap top or sit and chat with a friend. They also have a nice outside area set up. The servers are very very friendly and attentive. The only thing about sitting there and trying to work is that you may be subjected to the servers personal convos. They seem to be oblivious when talking to one another, of the volume that they are speaking at. And that everyone in the store can hear about their weekend or evening shenanigans. When you are trying to focus and work, that can be distracting and well, sometimes quite amusing..... .i digress.... The coffee is good. The plain coffee. With just milk or cream and sugar. If you have your own tervis or what not - you can get a refill for about $1.50. Best coffee deal around town, honestly. I find the other flavored coffees to be just a tad bit too sweet, no matter how I have tried to manipulate the amount of syrup they put in there - its just too much. So I stick with the plain coffee or the cinnamon spice tea. It is VERY VERY good. If you are a tea drinker, try it. You wont be sorry. Promise. Their bagels are delish. I do not recommend the bagel breakfast sandwiches though. They are too chewy and not very tasty. The scones are too dry and hard. The brownies and things are too sweet. Ordered a buttered bagel ... It was stale as can be and they're are 4-5 people working and none can butter it as I was in the drive thru. Not worth my 11.00 breakfast that consisted of 2 stale bagels, over priced apple juice and a tall white mocha. I won't be back for sure! read more

Pass.... There are better coffee shops within a three mile radius...Cashier needs more training of services you deliver. There was a nasty young lady making drinks ( long brown hair and was doing drive up in between) , there needs to be a better understanding of your menu for someone who had never been to your Business and who will not return back to your business. My cinnamon spice tea latte was delicious! Such a nice little treat after a not so great visit to Summerville! I got the tea latte, my boyfriend got the mint mocha latte, and we both got bagels with cream cheese. Overall I was very pleased with the food and the customer service. I would not survive without coffee. I'm a big fan of Biggby, and will choose them over Starbucks anyway...unfortunately, they only have 2 locations on my side of town. I stop by Biggby a couple times each week, especially when they have an awesome coupon or promotion happening. The owner of this location also owns the Dorchester Rd location, and is very involved in the day to day operations. I left a comment on their facebook page about a less than stellar experience and was immediately contacted by him. Okay, here's the good....their Turkey & Havarti bragels are amazing....but would be even more so with a jalapeño jelly (I hope you're reading this, Biggby!). Their Chai makes Starbucks taste like McDonalds. My go to drinks are the Snowball (coconut, almond and chocolate), it's delicious hot, but I prefer it frozen. The smoothies "Creme Freeze" are also delicious, and for 50¢, they will split a grande into two tall cups so they're perfect for my kids to share! Their kids options are also great, my kids love Magic Milk (milk over ice with flavor, whipped cream and sprinkles) and appropriately priced at $1.99. My only complaint with their kids menu is the Cup of Whip (a cup of whipped cream with sprinkles), while affordable at 99¢, whipped cream is free at Starbucks for kids or pets. The interior is nice, with two sitting areas with comfy chairs. Their free wifi is decent, but the big draw for my family is the changing table in the gender neutral bathroom. If you're a fan of coffee, be sure to sign up for the Biggby Card. Every 13th drink is free, you get a free drink on your birthday and they email coupons weekly (I've noticed that every other week it's $1 off and the other it's BOGO). I am a fan of biggby coffee and come to this location regularly. The issue I have is that i came through the drive through tonight with 14 points on my biggby reward card so i could get my free coffee but was told that they couldnt take my card because it had too many points on it. It requires 12 (or I am assuming considering it changes so often with their reward card policies.) The reason I had 14 points is because of them not being able to use my 12 points initially just a couple days prior so they added more points to it because of it being a Bogo deal. But now I am essentially punished due to an error not on my part? I wasnt offered anything for this and to me it's a slap in the face. read more

A hidden little gem! I just happened to spot it when out with a friend, just moments after us saying we could go for some coffee, and decided to give it a whirl. Both of us enjoyed our drinks - one a hot beverage, and the other an iced, as well as quaint and quiet environment. The two baristas were attentive to us upon our arrival, and answered any questions I had. Considering we were there with less than an hour before closing, attitudes could have been much worse than they were, so kudos to those girls. The selection of hot coffees was a nice variety, as well. All in all, this cute little coffee shop is definitely one I'll be trying out again soon. I used to go here all the time. Came back from college for the summer, was there trying to study as I sat beside an insect glue trap, I got disconnected 4 times from the internet, listened to the 16 year old workers talk about who got fired last week and watched several baby roaches crawling on the wall which was my final straw to leave and go elsewhere. Love to come here and get the Michigan cherry flavor coffee and a bragle on occasion. Walked to the counter and asked the woman at the register how she was doing and got a cold, flat "good" as she looked blankly at me like she was just waiting for me to place my order and get out of her hair. Got two hot coffees and midway into the second coffee the cherry flavor ran out and I asked this same, unfriendly woman if they had another brewed and she said "no that's the only one." Didn't offer to brew a new one or anything. It is 1pm on a Thursday and you're not planning to brew a new one for the rest of the day? I could see if it was 8 at night and you were close to closing but this left me with having to top it off with a regular flavor which dulled the flavor of the cherry that I love so much. Gosh, where do I even begin? I've been coming to Biggby since I was a freshman in high school. My brother and I are familiar with almost all the baristas and it's always a joy to walk in at anytime of the day to be greeted with multiple smiles and a "hey, great to see you!" followed by exceptional service and conversation. Never have I ever walked into this Biggby location and had an awful experience with any of their employees. As for their coffee...well, this place DEFINITELY hits the spot! Their menu is simple and painless and the baristas will even go out of their way to provide opinions and recommendations if you're reluctant. If they sense that something is wrong, they'll either up-size your order or let you reorder, free of charge! My go-to beverage is an iced americano with cream and vanilla syrup and I would not have chosen this as my favorite if it weren't for their help and input! I must admit that their food is pretty expensive, especially since it's not the best, but hey, Biggby specializes in delicious coffee and refreshing drinks and that is definitely enough consolation. Overall, I can honestly say that this place serves as my favorite coffee joint in town from its incredible customer service, to its delectable brews. read more

I have been stopping at this Biggby for a couple years now and have gradually been getting more and more disappointed. Yesterday morning, for example, I ordered my regular and was greeted by a very rude young lady at the window. When she gave me my drink, I said, "Thank you," and she just closed the window without saying anything. I thought she was incredibly disrespectful to a paying customer. My drink also tasted watered down, which is unusual. Good customer service is important to me, and when I'm spending my hard earned money, I expect it every time. I am now reconsidering this establishment as my regular coffee shop. read more
