As a frequent post-hike bruncher at Bill's Cafe in San Jose, I thought I would visit their newest location here on Stevens Creek. The decor, ambience, and service were all excellent! The food was amazing! Their portobello mushroom benedict (upgrade the toast to a frosted strawberry crunch) is a must! The hollandaise was creamy and the pancake was perfectly fluffy. We got the vegetarian blackstone Benedict, French garden omelets and a chocolate chip pancake. The Benedict and omelet were both really good with crispy hashbrowns on the side. Hot chocolate was also good. I liked the egg options more than the pancake. In to future I'll definitely order again but probably stick with egg options. The pancake itself wasn't sweet enough even with chocolate chips. I normally don't put syrup since the pancake is usually sweet enough but for here I did have to add syrup on top. read more

Came in on a Friday around 12:00. The store was pretty busy but the wait was fairly short. I got the eggs benedict which was really good while my friend got the meat lover omelette. The toast that came with the omelette was a bit burnt but everything else was good. The servers were very friendly. I had a great time and would definitely go again! read more

Good for Bills for opening 3 different locationsin the Bay! Hopefully this will lessen that wait across the other existing Bill's cafe because ain't no one wanna be waiting an hour plus all the time when they go to Bill's. This location is small and has a different vibe than the other Bill's, it feels a lot more modern but the menu, plates, and silverware take you back to the good ol' Bill's feeling. There's outside seating for those warm summer days (and spring.. and fall.. cause lets be real, this is CA) We ordered: Southern Scramble $12.50 Hash Brown Skillet $12.50 Coffee $2.79 I'm always amazed how consistent Bill's food is. My hash brown skillet was delicious, poached egg was perfect. Though I did ask for extra crispy hashbrowns, I didn't get that. The Southern Scramble definitely had extra crispy hashbrowns, so I think they mixed that up. Everything else was good. Good service, good food, what more can you want? First time visiting, I ordered crab Benedict and it did not disappoint. It came out very hot and the crab cake was flavorful with a little crunch. Portions are a nice size as well. I asked everyone if they enjoyed and they agreed. Definitely would visit again. Service was also on point; friendly, good communication as my husband's food took longer than everyone else's. They are open for takeout and outdoor seating. It's about 10 tables of varying sizes from 2-4 seat with shaded areas. The waitstaff is nice and friendly. They mentioned that they don't have bottled hot sauces and can only provide them in portions. Similarly, they provided hot tea with honey and sugar in packets. The food is okay and they came out super fast for a table of 3. I guess they are accustomed to more people and the outdoor seating is probably just a quarter of what they've been accustomed to. I tried their Santa Ana Scramble, and I don't know, maybe I'm just not an American breakfast person but it's a bit too heavy yet not as flavorful. I probably need more variety and different sauces. I may want to try their pancakes or waffles next time, but pass on the scrambles. I do enjoy the outdoor seating with shade. read more

Came here for our nephews birthday celebration and Nina as our server was outstanding. We had over kids with us and she made sure we all were checked on periodically. The Petaluma omelette is what I ordered with the country potatoes and it was so delicious. Definitely a good place for breakfast and the service was up and beyond with Nina! We ordered brunch a pick up after our Saturday morning. Food was perfect as usual. The servers and staff took all necessary precautions to make the process as low touch as possible. Arrived for a party of 2 around 10am on a Friday: seating was prompt, noise level was minimal and the environment was comfortable. Outdoor seating was a choice as well as bar seating..? I slightly saw it on the way out. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed the crab cake Benedict one with hash browns and one with country potatoes. Drinks orange juice and one bill's mimosa. The best crab cakes I've ever had and thus best crab cake Benedicts I've personally ever had. The hollandaise sauce was delicious, crab cakes had a nice crunch and the English muffin was the perfect texture. The eggs were runny, just perfect for a Benedict. Great, attentive service. I had the bread pudding French toast with my eggs over medium and my bacon crispy. I was here on a Sunday morning--it was crazy busy but well worth the wait. Right before I put my name on their waitlist, I noticed a huge urn of coffee just outside of their entrance, chairs in the shape of a half circle. Together they seemed to say, "Have a seat and drink some *complimentary* coffee while we make room for you." The service was a little delayed but excellent considering the costumer volume. Let's go back to my bread pudding French toast. Picture this: You're about 6 years old and stumbled onto a most secret fairytale land. This land is magical, overflowing with unicorns and gumdrops. I didn't even know this place was here, I thought it was a El Pollo Loco-- but I guess Bill's Cafe has been there for a couple of years. I brunched here last week with my sisters and we had a great time! The wait wasn't too bad, but typical of pandemic standards. But even though there was a wait, the wait for the food was great! After ordering food came out quickly and everything we had was good! I had french toast, and it was everything I could have every imagined. Nice breakfast or brunch restaurant in Cupertino. They have most kind of food for breakfast. Many egg benediction menus including omelette, pancakes, skillet, french toasts, etc. The seat is comfortable, and servers are very attentive: keep asking to refill coffee. It is a very comfortable place to go for breakfast or brunch. Parking lot is huge, and the location is very good (just off the Stevens Creek). Will be back soon. read more

I have LOVED Bill's breakfasts for years. We just left there disappointed. First of all, I'm pretty sure the plates are smaller to make it look like you're getting the same amount of food as before. The ham steak is HALF the size (very thin) it used to be, as are the amount of hash browns. $43 for breakfast for 2 is a lot, but I didn't mind when you got what you paid for. This place is very popular.......I sat at the counter, and waited several minutes for them to buss the old dishes, I must have sat there for 10-15 minutes before someone realized I was a new customer...... The bartender conveniently said to me before he went on his break, someone with be right with you......I got my breakfast, and I was a bit disappointed, the food was cold, potatoes soft, and lacked flavor on my whole bowl. Mellow pop music was playing, Adele was setting the mood for this Monday morning! Sinia, our waitress was super friendly and offered us sample of the lemon chicken soup since I inquired about it. The soup was good, on the thicker side, but it needed some extra spice, so I sprinkled table side black peppers to it and it was better. I ordered the Bill's steak and three poached eggs and my workout buddy ordered the California omelette and subbed the hash browns for fruits. *see my photos* Simple but goodie meal. I'm not normally a breakfast fan but my steak was delicious and I enjoyed my poached eggs. First of all I've been to every breakfast place in the area, and none of them compare to this Bills. Ana is an amazing manager, she really goes out of her way to make us feel like we are family. The food is fresh and great quality. Elvia is fast and efficient! All the staff really go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. Bills apparently has multiple restaurants so we selected the one off Steven's Creek. We reserved online, waited 10 minutes and were seated. Coffee was served, we ordered, and waited for our food. 10 minutes later our omelet and bread pudding French Toast came out. How do they do that? The restaurant is full, there are brunch parties all over the place, I barely finish my cup and breakfast is here, piping hot and well-done hash browns exactly as asked for. Did I mention the omelet came out hot? Nothing worse than cold eggs. And it felt like a 5-egg omelet, it was huge. And how can they charge what the charge? Most places charge extra to make anything other than plain, but they charge the same no matter what you put in it. No wonder they're so busy! Last weekend this was our friends gathering spot. I ordered Mexican omelette ( i have a special spot for omelettes in my heart) to my surprise it has hidden jalapeños OMG sooo good. Food at bills is always mid but this review is for the service received from our server Barbara. She had no patience taking our order. A friend of mine was not done ordering when she had already moved on to the next person. Food arrives and 3 items were wrong, they were not what we had ordered. She was not attentive to our table. When the bill comes she was upset that we didn't tip an amount that was to her liking. And made a rude comment about it and added that we can still leave a cash tip which I said no we wouldn't be doing that. Tipping culture is getting completely out of hand. For her to have the audacity to ask for a larger tip when her service was not something that deserved tipping. If you get this server beware. read more
