Ok.... It's time to up date this bc the last two times I've been here I have had the worst service and food I've had for breakfast in ages! Also the last time my table was dirty and my fork was debt... and my napkin was dirty. The food, bad, I will just talk about the last time, I got the country fried steak and eggs. I had a couple egg shells in the eggs, they were also very dry, the steak was tough and I had a twig in the breading... yes a twig, not something from seasoning but a twig from a tree branch. The hash browns I had to take a picture of, I didn't eat them after the first bite, they look burnt and they tasted extremely burnt. It all was AWFUL! Service... I actually left a little annoyed by the service. I should have written down her name bc I'd love to shout you out. It was a large Hispanic woman who I am almost 100% was being racist, she ignored me every time I tried to get her attention including when I wanted the check. I had to standup and walk half way to the someone else who was at one of the computers before she actually acknowledged me. The chilaquiles is a 3 egg chorizo omelet with 4-5 tortilla chips mixed in there. Not sure what the stock option "fresh salsa" would have been like but I swapped that out for ranchera sauce which was fire! I asked for a side also because they skimp on that. Highly recommend choosing the home style potatoes over the hash browns! I did. I wish they wouldn't have forgotten that though. I grabbed some off my dad's plate. These small hiccups and others (the waiter interrupting me when I was ordering because he said he didn't want to mess up - but still did, one of our chilaquiles orders being remade because they didn't listen to the fact that one shouldn't have had chorizo - I remind you that buddy interrupted me because he needed to take the order down correctly, not refilling our waters, having to ask for napkins, not answering the phone when I called so that I can out my name on the wait list - only option was online and it promoted that there was no wait then having to wait when I pull up and more). The place says it's a family restaurant. It's a family dynamic I would hate to be a part of. It's not welcoming at all, actually very lifeless. The food was good but if you want a good experience maybe skip this place. They sell alcohol, maybe that was the missing ingredient that would unlock the family feel. I needed a drink. I earned a sabbatical from work which I began today and happily booked a massage to celebrate and then realized that Bill's was less than a mile away so would be a great spot to grab lunch beforehand. It's always a tough decision between the crab cake benedict and the country fried steak for me. I decided to go with the benedict bc they make a stellar one which is harder for me to come across than a good country fried steak. As good as I remembered. The hash browns were also good. I polished off this entire plate even though I often don't finish off my potatoes but not a problem here! Washed it all down with their fresh squeezed orange juice. Probably should have gotten a mimosa though as a true celebration power move haha. Parking lot was full when I arrived but I found a spot on the street right in front. Visited this new location of Bills Cafe when my daughter came to town from college. Services were really good. We were seated immediately. The server was really polite and game us ample amount of time to go through the menu. I respect their work culture that they never rush their customers as usually they are very busy in the weekends. The food tasted good. It not only looks but is also very healthy. The spies are present in small quantity not to overpower the actual taste of the vegetables added to it. Most importantly when I enter an establishment I smell the place, the place was clean with comfortable scent not to over powering chemicals like Lysol etc. Looking forward to many more trips there in the future. read more

I had brunch at Bills a few days ago. It was a really good experience. My wife and I started with a spicy Bloody Mary. It was perfectly made. For brunch I had the Country Scramble. Country gravy over country sausage, scrambled eggs and a biscuit, with hash browns. Besides needing salt and pepper, it was pretty tasty. My wife had the BLT with fries. Went to brunch at this bills cafe and this place thankfully had parking on Monday morning! Hence I was able to snag a spot instead of searching for something on the street thankfully. Once inside we were seated quickly and ended up getting: * crab cake Benedict's - these were delicious and I loved that the crab cake was super crispy. This came with potatoes which were delicious *french toast and bacon combo - this was really yummy and the butter and maple syrup was delicious and went well with it. The bacon was also good but I wish it came out more hot Overall the food was delicious and I would recommend trying this place out! read more

You cannot go wrong with the crab cake benedicts! It's my all time fave! The fried chicken benedicts is decent, but isn't as crunchy as i'd like- and the gravy is a bit bland. Their guava mimosas are fire! I'm a big fan of thy guayaba! Their french dip is a hit in my book- and they serve it during breakfast time! Maybe it tasted good because I never ordered it and got a chance to have french fries in the mornings, and they weren't mine. so who knows.... Love their staff and the service too! Can't go wrong with Chicken Fried Steak with Biscuit and Gravy PLUS 3 Eggs Over Easy and Hash Browns. My bad that I forgot to ask for some Grilled Onions. More practice, we'll just have to go again! Lol. She had a single Belgian Waffle and totally enjoyed it. We also had coffee but had to give one cup back when the creamer curdled as soon as it came out of the plastic cup. Server was quick to replace the coffee and brought us all new creamers. It was an enjoyable breakfast as we had a nice conversation with the folks from the next table. Yay for some good 'ol breakfast! Bill's Cafe has HUUUGE portions and is a great place to have a nice meal with some family / friends. I arrived with a party of 9 at around 9 to 10 AM on a Saturday morning, and there was no wait which was nice to hear. Bill's has a pretty homey atmosphere, and our server was great too! This was my first time visiting, and I ended up going with the California Benedict with a side of country potatoes after seeing all of the photos of their benedicts on Yelp. The California Benedict was really great! I think this has become my favorite place for benedicts now. I really loved how the English muffin was toasted since it stayed nice and fluffy in the middle. The hollandaise was super rich in flavor, and I appreciated how they gave 2 huge strips of bacon. The country potatoes were a little larger cut than what I would've liked, and had some sort of seasoning + jalapenos and onions with it. They're super generous with their servings here. Parking is very very limited and the wait definitely started kicking in as it got closer to noon, since there were basically multiple groups of people waiting as we were leaving. read more

The waitress brought our first round of drinks but forgot about one of the soda and it took awhile to get her to bring it to her attention. We ordered the chilaquilles which were made more like migas bc the egg was scrambled into the mix. I would have personally preferred a fried egg on the side rather than the scrambled egg but we were not given the option. It still tasted really good. The cinnamon roll French toast was underwhelming. It was really dry and lacked the gooeyness you get from a cinnamon roll and from a French toast that has been properly soaked. The "breakfast" sausage wasn't very breakfasty tasting. It tasted very savory more like a hot dog wasn't a fan of this either. This is a nice place with nice music. My benedict was absolutely massive - served on a bagel (the bagel itself was not great, but that was expected), with a heap of hash browns (you can choose between hash browns and country potatoes). I actually did not like the hash browns at all, but the benedict was so huge, I wasn't hungry enough to eat them anyway. Definitely did not leave hungry!
