Amazing food! Great service! Comfortable seating. Brought service dog, ate on patio. All great! Will be back when I'm in town again. We were so hungry we dove in before i remembered to take pics.

Food was fantastic. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. They were pretty busy so there was a 15 min wait.

Ample parking available. We were warmly welcomed with a smile as soon as we walked in. The restaurant has a family-oriented, mom-and-pop type of vibe that feels very inviting. Our waiter was kind, patient, and attentive, especially with keeping up with our drinks. The food came out fairly quickly, and we didn't have to wait long at all. Everything we ordered was delicious. I would definitely come back again.

I remember Bill's Cafe being the place to go for breakfast and for brunch. This was well before the rapid expansions, I'm talking about almost 15 years ago. Now? Well, now it just feels like Bill's Cafe is another Denny's. The food is honestly pretty average to sub-par. With all of these other breakfast/ brunch spots, Bill's Cafe really has fallen by the way side. My wife and 3-year old visited before a museum weekend and I was surprised how disappointing our visit was. I ordered the Hawaiian Pancake, which was banana and macadamia nut and coconut shreds pancake. This did not work. The coconut shreds just doesn't mix well with the banana or macadamia nut. Further, the saltiness of the pancake batter was too overbearing. My wife ordered the original Eggs Benedict. That was fairly good. The hash was very good. We ordered a kids waffle for our 3-year old. We added eggs (for +$2). It was like 1 egg. Not worth the price. Coffee mugs were stained. Service was fine. Parking is limited in the small lot. Bill's Cafe is now just another Denny's.

First time at this location and it did not disappoint. Parking lot here is tinyyyyyyyyy so be mindful of others. We had a group of 5 but we were seated quickly on a weekend. I wasn't that hungry so my friend and I split an eggs benedict. Same great taste as any other Bill's cafe. Our server was also very nice and brough joy to us all.

We came here for the holidays and it was decorated for it as well! I got the special cordon bleu omelette which as cheese, chicken, and ham with hollondaise on top and it was delicious! It came with toast and potatoes which both were tasty as well! My parents got the crab cakes benedict with hollondaise on side which they love each time! My brother got the quesadilla which is so huge he saves some of it for a future meal! Overall love coming to this location!

When you're looking for a true diner vibe with great service, delicious comforting food with big portions and decent prices - this hits the spot! We ordered the regular strawberry pancakes and the chorizo omelette with house potatoes and a side of chicken apple sausage. All were good - only thing I would've switched out was the potatoes for hashbrowns but everything else was tasty!

Ordered the Crab Benedict and Chicken and Waffles and it did not disappoint. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was on point. My chicken was fried to perfection and hot. I would come here again.

I love coming to Bills Cafe everytime I finish my PT at MOORE physical therapy in the day time. And today felt like a good day so I came to eat, my late breakfast and lunch. Servers are always so pleasanty inviting and food is great, so I can't ask for more. 5/5 even for the beautiful new setup of the restaurant. 5/5 for everything, so come try them and if you want something like, ask for the side order of the Country Fried Steak and side of biscuit and gravy and maybe add some waffles too, can't beat the food and prices.

When in san jose needing breakfast or brunch, always go to a Bill's Cafe!! They have multiple locations and they're all good (or so far the 2-3 that I've been to). We were in San jose on a Saturday morning before going to a Galaxy Con at the convention center downtown. This particular Bill's Cafe was a 10 minute drive away. We were seated right away and offered coffee promptly. The guava juice is so good and both of our breakfasts were hearty and well cooked. Tri tip Benedict was perfectly cooked, poached eggs nice and runny, steak was a good temperature. Chicken fried steak was oh-em-geeeee good. Thin crispy batter, good gravy, and comes with eggs and either potatoes or Hashbrowns. Country potatoes were amazing and love the onions in them. This is definitely a fancier looking Bill's compared to some of the others that look more old hole in the wall style, but don't let the fancy decor fool you, this is just good old fashioned food.

This place is a classic diner, sweet servers, good food, sweet ambience, what more could you want!

Homey diner that is open early! We had a flight early in the morning so this was a nice stop. The food itself was typical breakfast food and it feels like a home-y diner. The fried chicken benefit was 7/10 -- gravy was a bit overwhelming and made the top soggy. The hashbrown was crispy and was the best part. Can skip: The smoked salmon was decent -- the bagels tasted a bit stale and some of the onions weren't thoroughly cooked. 6/10 Coffee was also a miss -- they offered it to us in the beginning and we wouldn't get it again.

What we ordered: 1 Caviar Starter: $44 Kettle Chips & Caviar Dip Sour Cream and Onion, Cured Egg Yolk - excellent little appetizer to start, served w a mini spoon to help scoop dip onto chips. kettle chips were very thin, crisp and fragrant. 2 Main Courses: $60 Slowly Cooked Pork Shank Creamy Bulgur, Salsa Verde, Tomato Jus - the meat was cooked perfectly, with flavorful tender pork that pulled off the bone easily w fork and knife. creamy bulgur was a tad salty as a base carb to pair w the protein, but also very flavorful so not much of the sauce boat of salsa verde was needed. $49 Whole Roasted Branzino Anchovies, Capers, Chives - the fish was excellent, though plating could have included some sort of veg or carb accompaniment besides the sauce boat of liquid butter w herbs. 3 Drinks: $19 Last Word Gin, Green Chartreuse, Maraschino, Lime - solid. Mezcal Old Fashioned (off the menu) - requested it made w chocolate bitters; bartender came out to table side to inform that he didn't have these on hand, but suggested he use their housemade bitters instead. turned out well! $15 Brucato Woodlands (digestif) hit the spot as a proper after-dinner drink sipped neat. It's a California-made amaro w dominant flavor notes of elderberry, cocoa nibs, black fig, and citrus; glad to see it offered on the menu alongside both green and yellow chartreuses :) Service was excellent even though they were busy at times, our server was thoughtful to check in periodically while bussers were polite. Note: Walk to the bathrooms is long -- need to pass through the entire restaurant and then down a long hallway in the rear, so just keep in mind if you are bringing children or elders. Nearest parking garage is underground but has elevators up to street level and is close to restaurant entrance. Nice date spot! FYI this place opened in March 2025 and is owned/managed by Bacchus, within the same Bay Area portfolio as Pizza Antica (across the street also in Santana Row) and both Michelin-starred spots on the peninsula - Selby's in Menlo Park & Village Pub in Woodside.

I will say the Duck Confit Cannelloni is a bit misleading. I expected more Duck flavor as it was filled with cheese and spinach. My sister in-law loved her Branzino. We sat at the bar, where Nate (the bar manager), Skyler, and Juanita absolutely crushed it. They were attentive, personable, hilarious, and somehow managed to all be ridiculously good-looking. That kind of flexibility and hospitality goes a long way. Great drinks, great vibes, and an even better team. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

That's blatant racism, and it happened while I was a paying customer. Staff did nothing to address it in the moment. Understandably upset and shaken, I had too much to drink afterward. My family came and drove me home safely. Rather than addressing what actually happened -- a customer being racially harassed on their premises -- management's response was to ban me, not the person who harassed me. If a business allows this kind of harassment to go unaddressed and then punishes the target of it for reacting, that's a real problem, not a minor service issue. This is the San Francisco Bay Area. We should expect better than this. Avoid this place if you don't want to find out how they'll treat you when something like this happens to you.
