Great place for good old hamburgers. Loved the good old time atmosphere. Owners were working right there.

We stumbled upon this place while on the strip and it was a diamond in the rough. It has the old school diner feel, the wait staff were awesome, and the place had plenty to look at on the walls. The food was AMAZING. I went for the double cheeseburger, but it was too much food for me (I was thinking smash burger by the style of restaurant, but it was full patties). The shakes were also great (I chose the peanut butter). Prices weren't bad, but my only downside was that they are cash only, which could be a no-go for some people. Let me start off by saying that the staff was really nice & so sweet to my family! Now to the details- I have zero clue how this restaurant has so many good reviews. The food was not good & so many of the items were from a frozen box and just thrown into a deep fryer. If it takes less than 10 minutes to bring out your food then I highly doubt it's fresh. It was like poor quality state fair food. The tables are really close together, so if you're wanting to social distance this is NOT the place for you or for your family. Stopped for late lunch. Glad we did! Great food! Big portions and well worth your money. Teenage boy had the double cheeseburger and ate every bite (and said he was full). Highly recommend taking the time to check out this burger place. Oh, and the BLT was a bacon sandwich with a slice of lettuce and some lettuce on it lol. Tons of bacon! So we went back for ice cream/dessert after an afternoon in Branson. Needless to say, it was amazing! The staff is friendly and always had a smile on their face. Probably the best burger I've had in awhile. Tasted fresh and cooked great. Little slow on service but everyone super friendly. Husband had chili dog and tots. Stopped by because this place was highly reviewed. I was disappointed to find the ice cream was coming out of a soft serve machine vs scooped. It had a great old school diner look and feel right up til then. My brother and I both got shakes which were as good as about any other soft serve shake and a fried pie which I wasn't impressed with. Grilled onions aren't diced and shakes are too stiff to drink with a straw. More like soft serve ice cream. Parking lot is a little difficult to navigate due to storage building on the lot. Lots of locals and regulars, mixed with out-of-towners. Baskets are the DQ baskets, but since the servings are extra large, it's almost impossible to eat as presented. Recommend a regular burger and fries. Skip the shake. read more

The service is typical Branson best and they try very hard to please. That is pretty easy since the burgers are so good and the ice cream treats so tasty.
