Bin 189 was one of the highlights of our trip! The service was excellent from start to finish. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. We sat on the balcony, and the view was absolutely beautiful. Overlooking the lake and marina while enjoying dinner made for a relaxing and memorable experience. It's hard to beat that scenery. The food portions were surprisingly generous, so you'll definitely leave full. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well prepared, and a great value. As a bonus, after dinner we joined a crowd of other fans inside to watch the soccer match on the big-screen TV, which made for a lively and fun atmosphere. I came here with my family to celebrate my birthday tonight, and we had an excellent experience. Our waitress's name was Aurora, she was extremely friendly, prompt and courteous. We ordered Seared Atlantic salmon @ $32 excellent Miso glazed cod @ $32 very good Station 91 burger @ $24 Everything was delicious, served quickly at a perfect temperature. Table bread is delicious. I had my 1 yr old grandson with us -the only disappointing thing about our experience was the extremely high prices on the children's menu. $15 for a children's quesadilla or burger is excessive. At the end, our waitress brought us the lava cake and vanilla ice cream for my birthday and it was very good. All in all a great experience, we really enjoyed. read more

Bin 189 is a great spot inside the Lake Arrowhead Resort, especially if you want good food with an easygoing vibe. Parking was a breeze, which is always a plus up here. We started with the fried calamari and garlic parmesan shoestring fries and both were a solid way to kick things off. Crispy, flavorful, and easy to share. I ordered the kale salad and added salmon for protein and it was good. Fresh, well balanced, and the portion was huge. I honestly could not finish it. The rest of my family went with the wagyu sliders, fish and chips, and the burger, and everyone seemed happy with their choices. A great breakfast option if you are staying at the hotel. This was our second visit to the Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa and just did this past Presidents' Day weekend. We wanted to get an early start to head back home and this spot opens early, has great views, and good food so it was an easy decision. It's located on the lake side of the hotel and really does have beautiful views of the lake. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. Parking is also really easy, there's a giant parking lot right in front of the resort. They also have an outdoor patio area, which is more popular during the summer. For breakfast, I chose the Eggs Benedict with a side of fruit and added avocado, and honestly, it was very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly and every part of it was nice although I wish the ham would've been a cooked a bit more. The only downside is the resort fees add to the price, but if you are staying at the hotel, it is a really nice option and worth it in my opinion. read more

Came here couple of times for drinks and were told we need a reservation to eat, so we came back this time with a reservation to eat. Our waitress was super nice and provided us with great service. Bartenders make great strong drinks and my husband and I were so hungry, we ordered too much food. In my opinion, portion size were huge! We ordered French onion soup and frito misto for our appetizers. For our entrees, we ordered braised short ribs and the hamburger. Flavor of the short ribs are good, but it was too heavy for me. We came with a group of friends to this popular American restaurant. The restaurant interior is aesthetic and welcoming, and the service was amazing despite us having to wait an hour for dinner. Here's what we ordered Garlic Parmesan fries: they were decent - not enough garlic. Crispy Brussels sprouts: this was the best dish of the night. The Brussels were well cooked, crispy, and also a bit sweet which was perfect! Chios and jalapeño queso: the queso was alright but the jalapeño bomb sauce was surprising very delicious and creamy. The chips were fresh and crispy thankfully. Angel hair pasta: decent dish - too many tomatoes but tasty cheese. Cauliflower steak: very well cooked and seasoned! The potato puree was creamy and the broccolini well complemented it. Bread and butter: complementary bread and butter was the perfect starter. The service was very slow--we often had to flag someone down just to get basic things like the check or place an order. There were also mistakes on our bill that needed to be corrected. Terrible service! Manager actually seated us and then we sat for 20+ minutes without a server while people who were seated after us were waited on - given water, orders taken. Manager had nothing to say, didn't care that we walked out and told him what was going on. Didn't care. This review is for breakfast only. The space is beautiful and well kept. It took a few minutes on a Monday morning to get some attention and seated but once we did get attention the service was on point. Prices are resort level as most breakfasts were $25 & up. Normally I would balk at this but I just didn't care and wanted a convenient breakfast. The OJ tasted fresh squeezed and was a good size glass. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, hash browns which came with link sausages. Pancakes or toast and I had the silver dollar pancakes. They give you three but they were almost full size. The portions were huge. My scrambled eggs were among the best I remember having (and I've had a bunch). The sausages were chubby AF and were very high end. Not supermarket sausage. Perfectly seasoned and stacked like little logs on my plate. The bacon was also huge and tasty. These pancakes were absolutely delicious with crispy edges. Absolutely perfect! I might go back to lake arrowhead just to have breakfast there again! Biscuits and gravy which made me think no we're apparently delicious. On 3/20 a Friday night we were so looking forward to dinner all day here and we're starving. We arrived at 7:30 there was a 30 min wait . We ordered round of drinks and sat by the fire which was nice . We sat down at 8:02 and ordered right away as we knew what we wanted . The waiter was extremely rude . We received 2 round of drinks at 8:15 . Never saw our waiter or checked on us. My husband went up to the bar at 8:50 and ordered another round of drinks as we were patiently waiting for our food . By 9:02 we still haven't seen our waiter and had been sitting for over a hour with no food or even water brought to us. Finally 9:05 my husband was done and lost his patience and we left . We enjoyed our cocktails the first day of our trip to Lake Arrowhead, we were staying at the resort for the weekend. The waitress was so kind! I forgot her name but she kind of looked like Sophia Richie. Fast forward to Saturday, we were lakeside and wanted a drink from the bar, I stood on the left side of the bar and was continuously ignored by bartenders. I finally asked where do I order and the bartender said over there so I assumed that meant the other aide of the bar. I was told to get in line by the other bartender and I said your partner just told me this was the line, apparently the line is in the middle of the bar? Im still confused! I left and put in a complaint with the front desk, let me tell you Demming the manager took care of the situation! I want to thank him again and again for taking care of us! I still do hope he reprimanded those rude ass bartenders with no sense of customer service. I didn't actually eat here but just want to leave a review for the amazing service rendered by one Mr. Derek, who was on duty last night. It was closing time and my little toddler wanted milk. I was just thinking where the heck can I find milk at this hour and getting ready to head out to the night... Thats when I decided to make to turn and walk to the restaurant bar to try my luck. I was expecting a natural refusal, but Mr. Derek went out of his way and got a glass for me. It was a small thing but extordanarily kind guesture on Mr. Derek's behalf. We walked into this place with another family--nine of us total, split into two normal groups (4 and 5). Before sitting down, we asked the hostess if we could have two separate tables and avoid their 20% large-party surcharge. Simple request. She told us they would still add the fee "because you know each other." Seriously? Two tables, two checks, treated like two parties--but they still wanted to tack on a 20% charge just for existing near each other. Even the people in line behind us said out loud how ridiculous the hostess was being. We turned around and left. This is a rather upscale restaurant inside the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. It is relaxing and has beautiful views of the lake. We were here at lunch time and enjoyed some burgers and fish and chips. We also had Line 39 Pinot Noir and a couple of beers. Service was very good, and our waitress even took our photos lakeside after our meal, as we were enjoying a visit from our two boys. I would certainly recommend anyone to try this place out and escape the craziness of the village. It is tucked in the lake and surrounded by trees. Deming was the idiot restaurant manager who took our reservation then let the other party overstay their time. He bold faced lied to my friends. Worst service ever. This is the only on site restaurant and bar at Lake arrowhead resort and spa. It opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No food was served in between but the bar opened all day till late night. The restaurant was so understaffed like the entire hotel so the food came out extremely slow. Plus hotel guests were getting takeouts here so it got even more slower the entire time. We had all of our meals at this restaurant, hung out at the bar area during our stay. The food was better than I expected to my surprise. Our lunch waitress was very accommodating about my gluten free request. Our bartender David was fantastic. He was super busy that evening but still took very good care of us. The food was a little bland or it could my taste buds were a bit numbed from high altitude. Still we were happy that we could hang out at this restaurant in the hotel. It was raining and snowing in between so we didn't want to get out and drive to other restaurants in the dark. They will have whole new drink and food menus this week. We got to the resort early and decided to have a bite to eat. The service was fast, efficient, as well as friendly. We were greeted by a gracious host at the host stand, and he immediately walked us to our lake view table just inside the patio door. We attended a wedding this evening but knew we needed to eat before hand. My husband ordered the wings and I ordered the burger. Let me tell you, it was one of the best, if not THE best burger I have ever had. It was my first time staying here and dining here and I cannot wait to return. Thank you for an amazing experience! I used to enjoy this restaurant with relatives and friends, but over the years, the place has gone down on quality and service. But most recently, I drove up with my family for cocktails and perhaps dinner on Thursday evening. Place was quiet and maybe had 5 tables occupancy. Deming is the idiot manager / host ? Standing off the side behind the greeter podium, he was on his cell phone on some personal business? I waited a few minutes but he did not greet me or explain he would get someone to seat my party. Instead, he shorted and motioned me to the waiting area, "Sit over there.." and continued his cell phone business. After 10 minutes, two men came up from behind me and said they had reservations. Still on his cell, Deming motioned a waiter to come over and seat the two men. The men pointed towards me and said to Deming, " He ( meaning I) was here first." Even the waiter seemed hesitant and confused, but upon Deming's gesture, led the two men in while telling me, "I will be back soon to seat you." I was not pleased with this ineptitude Deming had demonstrated. How he is a manager is mind boggling. Even the waiter and patrons were correct in recognizing proper service attitude than this moron. I walked away from the restaurant and informed of what happened at the restaurant to the hotel front desk. Then I went back to see Deming's name off his tag, and told him I was not pleased with his attitude, that he iis a sad case of a manager, and that a report would be made to the hotel management, and this Deming said (still on his cell phone), "Good!" I would not return nor recommend this place to anyone. Hotel is slowly falling in disarray since the days of being under the ownership of Marriott; and now a relatively decent restaurant marred by an idiotic manager who can't do his job right. Instead of attracting customers, his snotty attitude and rude service is deterring customers like myself from wanting to return. I will stay away. Maybe hotel management will read these sad reviews and wake up to get rid of poorly functioning staff like Deming, or continue to lose more customers..... read more

The resort is awesome and the convenience is 10/10 for being in the hotel. However, too many things rubbed me the wrong way. And apparently that's a thing here. First, they told us 1 hour wait when half the tables were empty. Well, that can mean so many things. However, when 50 minutes went by, they refused to seat us and said we must wait the full hour. Half the tables are still empty. Then I waited 5 minutes past their assigned minute for us. She never came to get us!!! So I said is the tables ready. She said "fine." We go back there to the empty restaurant at this point, and I had to move the tables together for our party. Literally I did it. And the same tables were empty the entire time. So we got hit with last call as we sat. Just rubbed me the wrong way. The food is very sugary. It felt like everything had honey or sugar in the marinade or sauce. Even the savory dishes. Finally, the labels didn't match. The word Prime is used but the meat doesn't look Prime. It looks choice at best. I didn't ask or complain. We enjoyed the company. But too many things were sticking out to me as common. Overall, it's a pleasant resort spot. Family friendly. The decor has this rustic , moldy, burnt wall paper that makes no sense. But other than that it looks nice. None of the dishes are photogenic. I didn't take any photos. Aside from the truffle fries that were just fries with Parm cheese on it. read more

I took my family to Bin 189 and it was truly a great experience. The service was some of the best we have ever had. Each person was friendly, helpful, and professional. The calimari, angel hair pasta, and salmon were top tier. We visit arrowhead occasionally and will definitely be back. read more
