Alright here it goes. We ordered the Pulled pork sliders with side salad and the Bacon bacon burger with corn...a coke and a water for a total of $43. Honestly wayyy too pricey for the quantity and quality of food. The burger patty was nothing out of the norm. A little small for the bun we got. My husband finished the meat patty before he did the bread bun. Again, for the price definitely not worth it. The service was good and the ambience is a bit of a bar vibe/ dinning. I've been to the location on Overland, and it was fantastic. The Linder location, not so much. Waited for about 5min to even be seated. The front desk and my table had a fly problem. They were out of the ribeye french dip, so ordered the Whiskey Short. It was greasy AF. The bun super greasy, the meat/cheese was dripping. I couldn't eat much of it. The short rib meant also had a good bit of membrane included that was hard to eat and basically unpalatable. I feel let down from my previous experience at the Overland location. I went to that location, only to drive across town to this location to be disappointed. I thought it would be worth my drive, but it wasn't. Not sure if I will trek across town for this again. Angela was one of the best servers I've had in a while and her recommendations ensured I had the best breakfast I've had out in a while. CLOSED. I will admit to schadenfreude at the news a couple of days ago that this Biscuits & Hogs location is now closed, without notice to customers or employees except for note on the door. Just like this same owner closed his Huck House Brunchette a few months ago with the note citing "challenging circumstances" for that one. We now know that those circumstances were eviction notice given months of unpaid rent. And for this Biscuits & Hogs location, it turns out unpaid rent, unpaid food distributor bills, unpaid bills to radio stations for advertising...the list goes on. I disliked B&H and Brunchette models for heaping plates of lousy food, especially at B&H it was the claim to fame, to overwhelm amounts, and cheap beer as loss leader. Not to mention this owner flew his politics like the thin blue line flag he had at the other B&H location. In my view, the failure of the eateries' business models was earned. No tears for the owner. But I do feel sorry for the people to whom he owns money (the landlord, food distributors, radio stations, a contractor who filed a mechanic's lien) and the employees who didn't get paid. June 20th ordered breakfast for pickup because we were in a hurry. The order was completely wrong but I had no time to call in, so I sent an email explaining how the order was wrong and asking what they would do about it. Never heard back from anyone at Biscuit and Hoggs. For the high prices paid for this food, you would expect at least decent service when something goes wrong - a reply from the manager (or from anyone) but no such reply, let alone a solution, ever came. We are now 12 days in and of course still no reply, so I decided to let everyone on Yelp know about this experience. We are not coming back and I've also been tempted to post in my neighborhood FB group about this negative experience of lackluster customer service. We live within walking distance of this Biscuit and Hoggs but won't be coming back due to this very simple support issue which could've easily been handled by anyone who had any level of responsibility there. read more

Went here for happy hour last Thursday with the family. We were sat on the dining side since we had two kiddos with us. Our server (I think her name was Cynthia) was very kind and attentive. She made sure our drinks were never empty and checked in on us often. The food was also delicious! My husband got the spicy avocado turkey bacon melt and I went for the carne asada nachos. Both came out hot and pretty quick. I love that they have a kids menu and crayons to keep the kids busy while they wait for food. Also dollar draft and white claws! Ambiance is nice. Definitely divey and cozey. One long 12 stool bar positioned towards the two very large flat screens behind the bar, hosting the lastest sport. In today's case, the Olympics USA basketball. Tables are all formica with hardwood chairs. No flooring to absorb the noise so it will be loud at dinner time. Don't plan on cozy chats here. It's not the cleanest, especially for a place that's just been open a short time. The floors are starting to look grimy, and the condiments at the table are greasy and oily. The ketchup bottle looked as if it had been dipped in oil so the label was completely translucent. Service is good. Friendly and prompt with no pressure. Very pleasant. So now for the shocker, no BBQ or pulled pork here. Only a couple of rib plates. Of course there's bacon, but that's it. I am SO bummed. I saw the big hog on the outside and the sign and naturally assumed pork. Nope, just the two or three short rib meals accompanied by something. The food... The food was on the upper end of OK and a solid good. The OK part were the fries. They were not crispy, nor were they fresh. With only five or six people in the whole restaurant, and food that is made to order, I would expect the fries to be crispy , but they were not. They were soggy and limp and warm, not hot. These were definitely under the lamp for a good 5 + minutes. The burger was very good. The bacon was outstanding, the beef used for the patty was perfect and delicious, cooked to perfection at medium to medium rare, and the bread seemed fresh. The bacon jam was tasty, and with the exception of the lettuce, the other veggies were fresh. The lettuce on the other hand was soggy and limp , probably under the lamp too long as well. The burger itself is what pulls my rating into the four. I'm going to knock it down a couple of clicks for not having pulled pork at a place that has a hog on the front, and soggy fries in the middle of the day, with wilty lettuce. With so many other places around, I think I won't be back for a while. There was nothing here that jumped out at me to grab me and pull me back in in the near future. I am glad they opened here to give us another option and if I ever want a solid burger with delicious bacon, I would probably put this in my top two or three in the valley. This was my second time in. The food was average. No flavor in the waffle or pancakes. We'd prefer quality over quantity. The waffle and pancakes are obscenely large which is great if you're sharing but the batter is bland and boring. Our waitress was very sweet but overly attentive. It seemed like every 2 minutes she was at our table asking if everything was alright. We counted 14 times in the hour we were there. My husband ordered his waffle with NO butter and it came with butter. He scraped it off and just cut the middle out. He didn't want to send it back. Not sure if we will be back or not. I wanna start by saying the bloody Mary's were great. The food... needless to say we're never going back. If you want to put chicken and waffles on a menu at least try. Egg: underdone (so slimy egg whites) chicken: garbage (pretty sure it was Tyson frozen tenders) waffles: dry as the desert. Syrup: sweet and not a hint of bourbon. Two of our friends had to leave just when the food arrived. They had to take their food to go. Absolutely no concessions were offered by management. She forgot my coffee, then never refilled it. I asked 3 times for stevia packets, and finally went to a host to get one. 3 of the 4 of us ordered a pancake, and she forgot mine. It took the second time asking for it to be brought out. I ordered an omelet and it had SO much grease on the plate. I took 4 bites and was done, I couldn't stomach it. The veggies were basically raw, and the " sous vide" pork belly was basically gray and had no color. When it came to the to go boxes, again, we had to ask her multiple times for the correct amount. We asked for to go lids for the syrup 3 times before asking a hostess for that too. I had been to the overland location and never had an issue. But I paid $18 here for a greasy plate of eggs with under cooked veggies, a coffee that was never filled, and a server who forgot what you asked for as soon as she left the table. read more

They were obviously short staffed on servers because we hardly saw ours. One meal just never got delivered until the rest of our table was well into their meals and when we were finally able to flag someone down. At this point we were missing 3 items we had ordered and we were all well out of water. We waited so long for our check and to-go boxes we finally pulled some unused boxes off the neighboring table. I finally had to ask the receptionist if she could tell our server we needed our check. Plus, the food is way overpriced.
