We had to drop off our kitten at Johnson Ranch animal Hospital at 7:45 AM so it seemed like a good time to also grab some breakfast. Right close by is the Biscuits Cafe so we thought we'd try it out. Upon entering we were impressed by how modern and clean the restaurant looked. We were greeted promptly and seated in seconds. The menu was loaded with delicious items. When the food arrived we were impressed with the portions. The pancakes were the biggest I've ever seen. Everything was tasty and I could not even finish it all. We took the leftovers home. The only downside are the prices which are a tad high but the quality and quantity made it all worthwhile. We heartily recommend this restaurant. read more

Came here on a Monday morning with family and was seated immediately. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast with eggs and bacon. It was delicious! I don't know how a cinnamon roll made into french toast couldn't be, but this dish didn't disappoint. The rest of the family cleaned their plates so I'd say they were satisfied with their meals. I really liked that I could get a cold brew coffee-just wish they had non-dairy choices. They had ample seating and the prices were just about right. I was actually surprised that this place has low ratings, I was really happy with my food and experience here. My children ordered French toast and a side of biscuits and gravy. There food was done first and they brought that out and I actually prefer that because they were getting HANGRY. My son loved his biscuits and gravy and my daughter loved her French toast. I tried both meals and I thought both were really good. I got the egg white and turkey scramble and it was delicious. My meal came with hash browns and I loved how thick they were and golden on the outside. So good. I got wheat toast with my breakfast and they served jelly on the side and that too was delicious. Going to breakfast on a Sunday morning is always chaotic so I really understand the longer wait time but I ordered a pick up order that took from 10:35am (when I called in to order) all the way until 12:50pm (when I got the order) . I think this extremely unacceptable. At 11:30am the to go lady said she forgot to put in my order. It is unfortunate but people make mistakes. I asked her " If you forgot to put in my order till just now that's fine but I don't want to wait another 40 min for my food. (I could go somewhere else and no hard feelings.) The to go girl said since it was one thing on the menu it shouldn't be that long. Another hour and change goes by and I finally get my food. Reason I didn't leave in the first place is because I had already paid for my order. Food was average and really not worth a 2 hour wait. you can do much better else where! read more

The food was great. I had the Greek avocado toast and my husband had an omelette. All big portions and yummy. The $2 for the fruit substitute was a little excessive. The fruit was a little overripe. I never leave bad reviews because I hate doing it but this one is a must! My husband and I had never been to this place and decided to go to eat. I was very hungry actually and we are new to the area so we picked biscuits. The food was served and two bites in, there was a nasty hair in the middle of my pancakes. I pulled it out and let me say that it was NOT a hair from the top of anyone's head. I was immediately grossed out. My husband was in shock. Our server went to let the manager know. He came back and told us he/she was coming to speak with us. 10 min later, nothing. Then the server comes back and tells us that she just took my food off of the bill. "Where's the manager and why don't they come to speak with us?" They just said to take it off your bill but my husband still had a bill. Are you kidding me? We were shocked!!!!! The service was slow and the food arrived cold. I stopped by on the way to my grandson's second birthday, by the time I left, I barely made it to his high school graduation. Seriously though, it took thirty minutes for someone to ask if I wanted coffee. Once I ordered, it was another fifty minutes before the food arrived and it was cold, or, more accurately, luke warm. We were called to our table at around 11, at 11:10 ish our order was taken, at about 11:45am we got a little irritated and asked to speak to a manager, they never came. The waitress came and said there was 5 tickets ahead of us before our food came out, that's insane!! We would've needed to wait another possible 30-45 minutes. After church, we went and ate at Biscuits. We went to the location in San Tan Valley. I liked the inside of the restaurant because the decor has the Farmhouse feel and it was super cute. The restaurant was very clean. Our service was great. Our waiter was great and on top of everything. I ordered a bacon omelet with a side of potatoes. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy, an egg, potatoes, and ham. YUM!!! Our food was so so good. It came out hot and everything was cooked to perfection. This place has been a favorite of mine for brunch. I love how they give you a tea vase to choose which two hot teas you'd like to enjoy. Their biscuits and homemade jelly is amazing! I had to give a four because it's really hard to make my bacon how I like it. Always seems a little rubbery and fatty, even when I ask for crispy bacon. read more

I have been here a couple of times and let me say the food is great! Yummy bacon and the kielbasa sausage is to die for. The service on the other hand needs some work. This morning I had to ask for the toast that I ordered and I had to ask the waitress twice for syrup for the pancakes before I finally had to ask another waiter for it in order to get some. She seemed very frazzled but the place was almost empty on a Monday at 10:00 so it shouldn't have been that hard of a request to fulfill. Then she didn't charge everything correctly on the ticket and had to reprint it three times before getting it right. It was clear she was new, but it seemed like the entire staff was as well because when paying the manager was teaching somebody else how to work the register and they were having difficulties too. The food was great as always, but the experience was frustrating. On a Sunday morning a while ago we waited over an hour for a seat. Once seated and order placed, we learned from our waitress most of the kitchen staff resigned that morning and left, so everyone else was trying to pitch-in and help turn the food and tables around. I had ordered Eggs Benedict, and what was brought to me was a sorry mess and tasted even worse. Went here for a weekday breakfast. I was very hesitant at first because of the other reviews of customer service but decided to give it a try anyways. So first walked in and it was fairly empty about 3 or 4 other groups and was seated almost immediately. Our server was Valerie and she was FANTASTIC! Very friendly, helpful and constantly was checking in on us to see how everything was coming along. The lighting is a bit dimmer for my liking but wasn't bad. Ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken, the chicken and gravy was great as well as the pancakes, Definitely on the thicker side too. My husband ordered their Chicken and Waffle Benedict. He didn't care too much for the combination of chicken, waffle and egg together and ended up ordering the gravy on the side too. Their portions are a good size overall. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in on Sunday at 9:30 am. They were busy but sat us right away. We waited 15 minutes no server for drinks or anything. My husband asked the bus boy if we had a waitress and said we had been sitting there 15 minutes. He said he would get her. Waited another 10 minutes still no waitress at our table. Meanwhile 2 new tables around us sat down drink orders taken right away and food ordered. We got up and left. On the way out told the manager why we were leaving. She didn't seem to care.
