Went for a birthday dinner and we chose the right night! Tuesday is Surf and Turf! We did not have reservations so there was a short wait, so I do recognize making reservations as their weekends are specialty nights so they get just as busy as weekends. Staff though were polite and welcoming. We were sat in a comfy booth ordered our drinks and perused the menu for choices. Menu has a lot but not too many choices. They offer everything from shrimp to burgers to entrée salads to steaks. Something for anyway. A bit upscale but not stuffy. I went with the $20 salmon and shrimp special with a side of turmeric infused rice. The rest of my party had a burger and fries and the chopped steak and mashed potatoes. We also ordered bread service for the table. Everything was hot and delicious. My salmon was some of the best seasoned perfectly cooked I've had. We passed on the free birthday dessert as we were stuffed but the offer was sweet. So glad we tried this hidden gem, look forward to exploring more of their menu. Cherish was our waitstaff. Nice place. Reminds me of Redstone American Grill to some degree. It has that kind of non-descriptive feel to it which is neither bad nor good. It does seem to, however, set a level of expectation that Stonewood certainly met. Not what we hoped for; not at all what we expected. Our first visit and most likely our last. We heard about the grilled pork chop being superb so we trolled the minuscule parking lot looking for a precious parking place until we finally found one - the last one on a mid-week night. What must this place be like on Fri & Sat nights? Our service was absolutely glacial. It was non-existent for the first 8-10 minutes as we were completely ignored. Do not confuse activity with production. Folks are moving around - they just don't do anything. Finally a cheerful gal appeared to give us menus & take drink orders. Slow service continued and is the overriding theme of this restaurant. Our observation: clearly regulars get preferential treatment. We watched wait-staff acknowledge and chat up folks while completely ignoring others sitting at the next table. Not professional, and certainly no bueno if the restaurant wants to attract new customers. The pork chop was very small - not even close to resembling the picture on the menu. It was just average; the kale accompaniment was so bitter we couldn't eat it; and the small portion of mashed potato was the only redeeming item on the plate. Charging my guest $1 to substitute broccoli for kale at the prices we were charged was a rip-off. Just so mickey mouse The bread pudding was over-cooked and frankly inedible. Our meal as a whole was too expensive and very, very mediocre. The lousy service really ought to be addressed - if not for the private-club feel regarding prompt service only for the regulars at the expense of new customers, this place would surely close. We came, we saw, we ate, we're done. Extremely doubtful we'll ever go back to Stonewood in Heathrow. Just not a good meal. read more

This is my first time coming in, as I am not from the area. My husband stopped in during our honeymoon, and had a great meal! There is a wide menu, mostly American food. My husband got the burger with a side of vegetables, which were great. I ordered a side salad, and a side of butternut squash ravioli from their seasonal specialist. This side was only eight dollars, it was plenty of pasta for me as a full meal! Our server did a great job, and even gave us a complementary dessert which you heard we were celebrating our honeymoon! We were very full, but finish the entire cake as it was delicious. We especially liked the straw sauce on the side! I was craving good pretzel bread, so my husband and I consulted Yelp! and drove to Stonewood Grill & Tavern. We weren't disappointed. Stonewood Grill & Tavern is a stand-alone establishment with elegance and modern decor that is still welcoming if you want to dine in more casual and comfortable attire. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering suggestions once we told him what our cravings were. As I was craving pretzel bread, we of course got the Pretzel Bread Service (with complimentary refills that we surely took advantage of!) and also split a wedge salad to start. Both were absolutely delicious! My husband chose to get the apple butter pork chop for his entree and I the blackened chicken pasta. Both portions were generous and each dish was cooked perfectly. Since we both filled up on pretzel bread, we took home leftovers and were able to enjoy the meal a second time. We will most definitely be back! read more

I really enjoy eating at Stonewood. The service is great as is the food. I don't have any photos from my last visit, but I ALWAYS get the same thing. Steak with a baked potato and the pretzel rolls. It may sound silly, but they offer unlimited refills on the bread. They are very tasty. The steak has always been cooked to perfection. read more

My spouse and I usually order Stonewood to-go, but we decided to come in to celebrate our anniversary this year, and we're really glad we did! From the moment we arrived, the hosts wished us a happy anniversary. Our table was nicely set with rose petals, a candle, and a card signed by the staff. During our visit, both staff and management stopped by to say happy anniversary, which we really appreciated. The food was great and came out hot. Stonewood always puts out a decent meal. For what you get it's a little overpriced, but it's always consistent. We had some colleagues in town and decided to go for a later bite to eat during the week. Our server was fantastic. She was extremely attentive, and overall, we were very pleased with the service. The food as always Stonewood brings good quality at a decent price. I've been to this particular location a couple of times. The biggest drawback is the noise if you can go during the week and not on a weekend I think you'll find your experience much more enjoyable. My family and I tried Stonewood Grill & Tavern for the first time the other night, and "phenomenal" honestly doesn't do it justice. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food, everything exceeded our expectations. We started with the Buffalo Shrimp appetizer, and wow -- it was incredible. The bleu cheese aioli absolutely stole the show! I didn't manage to get photos of our entrees or desserts because we dug in immediately, but every single dish was amazing. I ordered the Bistro Steak Bowl, and the turmeric rice was hands-down the best I've ever had. My husband got the Surf & Turf with mac and cheese on the side and loved every bite. For dessert, we decided to go all out and ordered the strawberry shortcake cheesecake, the chocolate bread pudding with a warm bourbon sauce, and the Florida orange cake. Every dessert was delicious and the perfect ending to the meal. Our server, Britney, was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and accommodating throughout the entire experience. She made us feel genuinely taken care of, and we truly enjoyed every moment of her service. We can't recommend this place enough and are already looking forward to coming back for more amazing food -- and hopefully another table with Britney! This has been a go to and I normally try to focus on the good things but enough is enough. We consistently have trouble of some sort here despite the great food and service...they need to focus on being more organized and welcoming. We use Open Table and there is rarely a time when things go smoothly. Last night, we didn't make a reservation, know it will be busy BUT...they sat us waiting then AFTER several minutes of sitting there (and you can see empty tables from where you're sitting) a person tells us "for the integrity of service and the kitchen" they changed their 10 minute wait to 45-hour. Sorry. This is a management issue and while good, there are other spots we like too...will pass on these guys a while, maybe they need a refresh on how to run their place. I know their bar area seems to be their focus, but if that's what you want close the other side. Sad. read more

I took my mother to Stonewood Grill on Mother's Day, May 10, 2026. I made a reservation and they seated us immediately upon arrival. We've been there before on Mother's Day and as usual, they did not disappoint. I ordered the salmon with creamed spinach and garlic potatoes. The creamed spinach was delicious, everything else was good. My mother was pleased with her 12 ounce Prime Rib and the sides that accompanied her meal. Our waitress was very attentive. The manager came out and thanked us for coming on Mother's Day. She presented discount coupons for every table to use at a later date. What a fantastic meal. We had the seared prime rib that was cooked perfectly. We were with a party of 14 in the private dining room. Such a great place to celebrate special friends' 50th anniversary. I had dinner here and it was wonderful! This place has a really great ambiance to catch up with friends and family. Appetizer: Ahi Tuna - it was good! I liked the seasoning they had on the side and the salad dressing tasted pretty good. Entree: Shrimp and Scallops - the presentation I think could be be better, but it was pretty good for what it was. They weren't over/under cooked and cooked to juicy perfection. Although, I wasn't the biggest fan of the rice, but I would order this again because I love seafood. Dessert: okay admittedly, this is the main reason why I love this place Chocolate Bread Pudding - WOW YUMMY!! If you love chocolate, this is a must! It was so rich and the ice cream just pairs so well with the bread pudding. I also really loved the sauce on the outside - it was a bourbon sauce and it created a different taste profile of the dessert that I really liked. Orange Cake - this was so good!! Being a tourist in Florida, I most definitely had to try some sort of orange and this did not fail to deliver. I've never had anything like it and it tasted so good and unique. We go out to eat twice every weekend and usually for lunch. Generally, we avoid chains and prefer to support small, local, mom, and pop type restaurants. Being a holiday (Mother's Day), we figured the moms (of mom and pops) need a break, so we chose a chain restaurant. Now, Stonewoods in Heathrow is not open for lunch except on holidays, so we thought we'd return after a few years have passed and see what's going on. Let's start with our server, Noah. Remember, we go out to eat at least twice a week and have been doing that for many years. We know good service, we know bad service and we know great service. Noah? Yeah, he takes great service to the next level, greater service, we guess! Great job Noah, thanks for knowing the food and drinks and taking great care of us with recommendations, checking with the chef on special requests, and being personable, knowledgeable, and unobtrusive yet always there when needed for refills or questions. We enjoyed the Pretzel Bread, the French onion soup (perhaps the best we've ever had), the chillean sea bass was incredible, the prime rib was rare, as requested, side salad was fresh and the Creme Brulee was prepared just as you suggested.
