This is my first time coming in, as I am not from the area. My husband stopped in during our honeymoon, and had a great meal! There is a wide menu, mostly American food. My husband got the burger with a side of vegetables, which were great. I ordered a side salad, and a side of butternut squash ravioli from their seasonal specialist. This side was only eight dollars, it was plenty of pasta for me as a full meal! Our server did a great job, and even gave us a complementary dessert which you heard we were celebrating our honeymoon! We were very full, but finish the entire cake as it was delicious. We especially liked the straw sauce on the side! If I come back to this area, I would love to return here for another meal!

Salmon was a little dried out and not enough sauce on the plate. I was also disappointed in the service and how rude the staff was being as we were there until 10 mins before they closed with a large party. I would give it another chance, but not impressed with my first visit.

I was craving good pretzel bread, so my husband and I consulted Yelp! and drove to Stonewood Grill & Tavern. We weren't disappointed. Stonewood Grill & Tavern is a stand-alone establishment with elegance and modern decor that is still welcoming if you want to dine in more casual and comfortable attire. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering suggestions once we told him what our cravings were. As I was craving pretzel bread, we of course got the Pretzel Bread Service (with complimentary refills that we surely took advantage of!) and also split a wedge salad to start. Both were absolutely delicious! My husband chose to get the apple butter pork chop for his entree and I the blackened chicken pasta. Both portions were generous and each dish was cooked perfectly. Since we both filled up on pretzel bread, we took home leftovers and were able to enjoy the meal a second time. We will most definitely be back!

4-Star Review for Stonewood Grill Stonewood Grill is a charming spot that leaves a great impression before you even walk through the door. The exterior is warm and welcoming, and the interior creates an equally inviting atmosphere--perfect for settling in and enjoying a nice evening out. Their menu offers an impressive variety, so whether you're in the mood for steak, seafood, or something lighter, there's truly something for everyone. This restaurant is a wonderful choice for a romantic night out with your significant other. The cozy ambiance paired with deliciously crafted drinks makes for a memorable dining experience. Prices are reasonable for a steakhouse in this area, especially considering the quality and service provided. While there's always room for a little improvement, Stonewood Grill definitely earns a solid 4 stars from me and is worth a visit!

The service was excellent. The Sweet Tea was good. I had the crab stuffed salmon. It was delicious. It also had a beautiful presentation. It was served with potato wedges. It had spinach and a slightly spicy sauce. I would order that again. Great experience.

A great spot in Lake Mary for delicious American food. We Sat at the bar and the bartender took care of us right away. The espresso martini was Devine. The smoked Salmon and fries were delicious. I'll definitely go back !!!

The food is simply phenomenal and the service was amazing as well. We had a party of 8 and our waitress did a great job making sure all the ordered dishes were correct. The 24-layer chocolate cake is a must-have.... It's decadent, creamy, and basically a slice of heaven on Earth. We mainly ordered from their happy hour menu which included the ahi tuna tacos, bacon steak, milk bread, and brussel sprouts. The milk bread and bacon steak were my personal appetizer favorites. For areas of improvement, I think the brussel sprouts could've been drizzled with more glaze and blanched/boiled longer. All in all, I would go back in a heartbeat. The ambiance was very cozy and classy, exactly what you'd expect for the premium prices you're paying. I can't wait to return for Magical Dining!

Ball caps aren't allowed to be worn in the restaurant but ok in the bar area, which I LOVED! Not enough places expect good etiquette! We didn't have reservations but we arrived later due to travel and we able to be immediately seated. Drinks were ordered and WOW! So delicious and not overpriced. I highly recommend the cucumber martini. I've never had better! We ordered the Japanese milk bread and it was good. I've never had it before so I have nothing to compare it to. I'm not sure I'd order again simply due to price and trying to eat less bread. It's a lot for two people. We also ordered Steak Frites and I had the center cut filet. Both were cooked to perfection. Waiter checked doneness at the table which I appreciated. The loaded mashed and Brussels sprouts as sides were also fantastic. They are more than enough for up to 4 guests. We were too full to even look at the dessert menu but I'd wager that whatever the offer is probably just as amazing. I'll definitely eat here again and recommended it to other folks who attended the same wedding we were in town for!

One of my favorite things about it is that it hasn't changed much over the years, but in the best way. It's family-run, the vibe is comfortable and familiar, and the staff has always been amazing. We've had countless dinners here with big groups (10+ people), and they deliver every single time. That kind of consistency is rare. What I order every single visit: Salad with house dressing, it's honestly one of my favorite dressings anywhere. Loaded Buckskins - You have to get these. Think a cross between a steak fry and a potato wedge, loaded with cheese and bacon, addictively good. Petite strip steak - Perfect portion, cooked and seasoned just right every time. Simple, consistent, and exactly what you want. They also bring out warm brown bread with your meal that just hits, and a side of applesauce that I've come to think of as the perfect little palate cleanser, such a simple touch, but it makes the experience feel even more classic. This is one of those places that feels like home. No frills, no trends, just really good food, great people, and decades of consistency. This will absolutely be a staple for me as long as I live in Sanford.

The outside of the building isn't much to look at. Some might pass by, we didn't. I rated the Cattle Ranch 4 stars but if 3.5 was allowed, it would be my choice. We were greeted right away and was seated. The inside of the building needs a refresh even more than the outside. However, the restaurant was busy, families eating, people laughing, sometimes the locals know, it's one of the locally owned restaurants, not a chain. This is a good sign. I'm all in on the local, hole in the wall places. Our Server and our service was excellent. Good menu, plenty of choices and the eight of us had just about everything, Porterhouse, Ribeyes, fillets, burgers, salads. Food was very good, no complaints, ample amounts on sides. Rest rooms were also in need of a refresh but the were working. All in all and after our experience we would return.

I arrived without ceremony, took a seat at the bar, and expected little more than a drink and a quiet escape from the predictable machinery of an ordinary evening. Yet sometimes, in the most unassuming places, simplicity proves far more satisfying than spectacle. The service was remarkably quick, but never felt hurried. There is a subtle difference between efficiency and impatience, and the staff understood it well. I was acknowledged promptly, served without unnecessary delay, and left to enjoy the evening at my own pace. This may sound like a modest accomplishment, but anyone who has spent enough time waiting invisibly at a crowded bar knows that attentive service is becoming something of a lost art. The atmosphere possessed an easy, lively rhythm. There was plenty of entertainment, enough to hold one's attention without demanding it, and the room carried the pleasant energy of people who had temporarily set aside the obligations waiting for them elsewhere. Nothing felt overly manufactured. The experience was not desperate to impress, and perhaps that was precisely why it succeeded. 4th Street Bar & Grill did not attempt to transform an ordinary evening into some grand theatrical production. It simply provided quick service, genuine entertainment, and a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the passing hours. In doing so, it reminded me that a memorable night does not always arrive beneath chandeliers or behind velvet ropes. Sometimes, it begins with an open seat at the bar.
