I LOVE this coffee bar. The staff is very friendly. But also they have tons of options for caffeine even if you're not big on coffee. I absolutely LOVE the fuel drinks and how many flavors are available. But the blondie coffee iced is one of my go-tos. Such a great spot with comfy seating and ample parking! They also have a drive thru. Its literally perfect. I hope they build more (maybe closer to kyle/ buda ;) ) so I dont have to drive so far! read more

I came here opening weekend and decided not to wait in the line for coffee. It's fine, it's opening weekend, I'll come by sometime during non-peak hours to try it. This morning I decide to hop through the drive through on my way to work. There were a few cars ahead of me, but I resigned myself to wait in my toasty car for coffee. Here's the point of my 5 star review: I was anticipating a 10-15 minute wait, minimal breakfast food selection, and at least a $10 breakfast (my how Starbucks has conditioned me). Instead, I got a 5 minute wait, huge breakfast selection, and a $6 dollar breakfast. Coffee was tasty too. Something honest in overpriced Lantana Hills. Who knew. I'll be back. :) read more

I LOOOOOOOVE this coffee shop. I've been wanting to check out this spot for weeks, since I pass by it on my way to work. Then a friend who lived in Oregon, recently reminded me of it (apparently it was started out there and many of the employees even moved from the Northwest). So I gave it a try.... As I pulled up I was delighted to see that they had a DRIVE-THRU!! Man, perfect for those days when I'm on my way to work, or on my days off when I have bed head and in my pajamas after dropping my kids off at school. Lol. Coffee itself was excellent. 'Nuff said. Lastly, I just about flipped out when they told me they open at....... 5 AM! Yep, folks that's right. 5 A-M! This is the worst coffee I have ever had. I payed $7 for a Carmel Mocha cold brew, $7. The worst $7 I've ever spent. Anyone can make a better coffee. The color of the coffee is swamp poop, as shown below. Where is the Carmel and mocha drizzle? My sister got a vanilla latte cold brew and it was just as terrible. Its an A okay coffee shop. Nice, clean, a bit modern styled. Loud music playing inside. The outside seating is quite, sunny. Its a little off the beaten path in a insular mall shopping strip. Parking is easy. Ordering is quick, don't expert help for your order from the coffee makers (def not baristas). My order was forgotten,remembered half of it for my wife but not my Vanilla Latte or warm jelly biscuit. No biggy just sat outside a bit more relaxing in the sun when after what felt like 10min I walked inside to see my drink sitting on a counter and no one available to help. So I waited until I knew unless I spoke over the loud music the servers weren't going to address me. Bam, cold latte handed over, requested my biscuit and hurriedly one was placed on a plate. I politely gave it back and asked for it to be warmed up. This time I waited and was given a warm jelly filled biscuit and a latte in the other. The vanilla latte with 2% milk was ok, not too sweet, not too creamy. There was no bean aroma or special purified water or really anything unique. Size wise a $5-6 coffee will get you 12oz. Nothing really more to give. I recommend it, I would not return unless I had to though. read more

The coffee offerings we tried were ok. The hazelnut mocha just tasted like a mocha -- neither exemplary nor bad -- and the Mexican mocha was very sweet. But the experience inside Black Rock is an assault on the senses. Is this intentional, to discourage laptop squatters? Loud hip hop music, loud coffee equipment, not much interior seating, and an east-facing window that pours in blinding sunlight in the morning make for an unpleasant place to be for more than a few minutes. read more

Tried this new coffee spot this morning during their FREE drink giveaway/grand opening. It's so exciting to finally have a coffee shop in this area. I tried the blended caramel blondie and it was definitely tasty. All of the employees were friendly and were willing to answer questions even though it was busy! Prices are very reasonable and they do plan on having some food, like bagels and pastry soon. I'll be back to try some more menu items soon! read more

I stopped by here for the first time today (09 march 2020) just to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and knowledgeable staff are; I did not want coffee and they recommended that combine two of their herbal teas- peach and hibiscus; one bag of each in a small. it's fantastic and you can get it hot or cold. We rolled thru the other evening on a whim and I was please with my coffee. The only reason I didn't give 4 stars is because we had to finish our to-go transaction on an iPad that was so dirty. It was covered in smudges. It was really gross. It's not hard to wipe it off and the store wasn't busy.. if you wipe off tables and counters you should take the time to clean your iPad. Flavored coffee drinks are overpriced, very limited rewards program. Competing with Starbucks isn't an option since the closed chain is 10+ mins away. Mobile app does not work or present the menu for advanced ordering. Having a staff member take my order outside in the to go line is great, but when they have no menu knowledge and repeat the words I just read off the menu, it doesn't do much good. read more

I have been here 20+ times and never had a bad experience. Drive through people are always friendly ! They chat with you while your waiting and everything. I haven't been inside so I can't comment on atmosphere. But drinks are always top notch - highly recommend the cotton candy fuel drink or the Irish cream iced coffee. So yummy! read more

I don't get it. You guys have a catchy name, a great location (surrounded by apartment complexes and large office buildings), and a nice looking shop with a drive-thru. Your coffee and baked goods are terrible though. Everything is overcooked, burnt, and dry -- from your coffee to your lemon iced pound cake (which I didn't know was possible). Maybe invest $1.99 in a timer. It's like you guys aren't even trying. In all fairness, I am a bit of a coffee snob and you seem to be doing a good business, but your product is bad by any objective standard. Step it up! I live within walking distance.
