Iced Matcha chai Latte!
Kia L.

This was my first time going to Black Rock Coffee Bar. I wanted to spend a chill morning/afternoon here and get some work done. It was very overcrowded, so I just placed an ordered to go. I got a Matcha latte and Blueberry muffin. The matcha was great, just too much ice. The muffin was not fresh, but I'd come back to try more of the drink menu. If you're hungry they sell tacos from Taco Deli. It would be nice if they partnered with a local business for food. Both people in front of me received the wrong order which was a bit concerning. Instead of calling out names they should definitely give out numbers or just pay more attention to detail as it was definitely the fault of the baristas.

favorite thing to get on a hot summer day, they have a bunch of different flavors as well. service is great and drive through moves pretty quick.

Iced Pumpkin Blondie
Diana S.

Was stopping in to pick up a drink for my hairstylist before my appointment and found out they do $4 medium coffee based drinks on Tuesdays (today is Tuesday) and I was so excited! I got the pumpkin blondie and it has to be one of the best coffee based drinks I've had. I definitely see myself coming in for more drinks in the future.

Black Rock is my partner's go to coffee shop on Friday mornings for a treat. We were in the area and decided to drop by when we saw the sign. Coffee shop is super appealing when you walk in. So beautifully designed. Very modern and clean. Service was good and all around had a good experience. I can see why he keeps coming back. We would pay more visits if we lived in the area. For now he'll be the one dropping by regularly.

Outdoor patio

First time stopping here. We tried the sublime frozen fuel and the kids got the berry smoothies. They were all really good. I really liked their outdoor patio area for the kids. We will definitely come back.

Black Rock pup cups are the best lil treatos for my special pup!!

Love their drinks and customer service! I get the caramel blondie with an extra shot to balance out the sweetness.

If you want diabetes inducing drinks this is your place. Only good part is that they are open early and the employees are usually decent.

$5.52 for a SMALL black cold brew. And then they pass you an iPad for a tip. This place is so overpriced.

Is it terrific marketing or terrible planning to put MAD Greens in the same building as CAVA? I…read morefeel like the kind of people who are interested in a healthy bowl of nourishing food would be split not quite down the middle between both of these restaurants. Are they hoping the better-known Mediterranean bowl place will be so full they can catch their overflow? People in a rush might skip the line and try this less-known healthy bowl food restaurant instead? But I digress... I had tried CAVA four times or so and every time I saw MAD Greens and thought, Someday I'm going to try that place. Well, last Sunday was the day. I got to eat what I wanted because I was eating solo. I'm going all in on this trial run, I thought to myself, so I bought one salad for that day and ordered another to be my lunch the following day. I walked in and was the only customer in the restaurant. I was greeted warmly by the young man behind the counter, who called me queen and had no complaint about my asking for no tomatoes and the dressings on the side. I tried the Greek one and the sesame sriracha one. The place was clean enough and the employees seemed to be enjoying themselves, chatting and goofing off a reasonable amount. The bowls were great. I chose the Greek one first when I realized it had pita chips inside. It came with two dressings, the creamier of which was a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Confession--I am a recovering picky eater and I hate cucumbers, but I love sneaking them into my body underneath delicious dressings and salty kalamatas. The second day I ate the sesame sriracha situation. It had tofu, which tbh I have never successfully eaten, and it was really good. It reminded me of the paneer in Indian food. That salad had edamame too, so I was definitely satiated and I'm guessing I got plenty of protein. Overall, I will definitely go back. CAVA has had some consistency problems for me, as well as some of my favorite offerings being limited-time or seasonal (isn't it the worst when restaurants lure you in with seasonal offerings you can't count on?!), so I'm glad to have had such a positive experience here and I'm hoping they will be consistently good.

I'm gonna be honest... I'm not much of a salad person cause I love to leave it to the rabbits and I…read morecall salads "Rabbit food" lol. However, I must say that MAD Greens makes some MAD GOOD salads. My go to is the spicy bacon bowl with boil eggs. I feel better about my life when I order this because I'm getting my greens in, getting my protein with the chicken, and I'm actually enjoying my rabbit food (aka salad). This is a must have for me. Coming from a non salad person ( I know... it's okay to judge me) I really enjoy their salads and their spicy bacon bowl makes me happy. Another food item that I love is their Mac and cheese. It's so tasty. I love it here and love their salads because the greens taste fresh. #madgoodness

It's everything you know and love about The Well downtown, but with more parking! That alone makes…read moreit worth driving the extra 15 - 20 minutes, honestly. Plus, there's some nice outdoor seating so you can bring your dog. I will say that the prices are more than I can justify on a regular basis, but it feels like a nice, reasonably healthy splurge. The dishes are thoughtfully composed, well seasoned, and always fresh. Avocado toast is usually a throwaway offering, but they do it right here, fully loaded with pesto, heirloom tomato, and a ton of avocado. There have been some recent changes that are a bummer though. I'm really sad that they seem to have taken the vegan chorizo and potato hash off the menu, which was simply the best brunch dish. Happy hour options are also greatly reduced, leaving very little for vegans, and I'm sorry but on what planet is $8 for pickles a good deal? I still love the place, but it's not in regular rotation.

We started with the hummus, and the vegetables that came with it were amazing!! Super fresh and actually so flavorful. Definitely not your average hummus plate. I got the steak and eggs, and the potatoes were FIRE. So garlicky and flavorful, easily my favorite part of the whole meal. I also tried the Caesar wrap which honestly wasn't my favorite, just mostly lettuce tbh. But everything else was incredible so it didn't really take away from the experience. I also tried chicken bone broth for the first time and it was so flavorful and perfect for a Sunday. The overall vibe was really bright and relaxed, perfect reset after the weekend. Loved this place so much and would definitely come back again.
