Fast and friendly service. Just an interaction with these folks give you a jolt before you even get your coffee. My favorite is the jackhammer. You'll taste the coffee first and everything else is secondary unlike a lot of coffee places. Conveniently located right next to the Nike campus and even though we get SBUX on campus I prefer to go here. read more

Since I work so close to these guys and frequent them a lot I wanted to let them know how I reviewed them and that I thought there flavorings are too sweet. He was quite nice about it and admitted that Black Rock markets to the mass who like things really sweet. He recommended a twist on my drink which really just made it less sugary and less flavorful. I like the workers there, just the product needs some help. read more

I love love love coffee I need it every morning to start my day and black rock is the perfect place to go for that. I discovered their drink called the Caramel Blondie, YUM! My girlfriend loves their Chai Chillers, apparently the best she's ever had and I believe her. The vibe is great at this one, they actually talk to you versus the other one in King City where they kinda just wanna take your order than get you outta there. I love going to black rock coffee. Grand opening day I didnt know what I wanted I just new I wanted one of their energy drink drinks. The guy told me theres a secret menu that people only know of by word of mouth and so I let him make me what he called a starburst red bull, you can get it also as a starburst rockstar both are sooo delcious. Would recommend it to anyone. I kike how they give out punch cards and their drink selections for kids as well. read more

I normally LOVE this place but to I tried a new blended drink with pretzels in it. So horrible I did not finish it. They didn't know how to make it possibly as they were discussing how to make it. Went to black rock last night one of the worst visits ever. The gal seems like she didn't want to work her customer service was horrible, rude and a bit abrupt. When we were ordering our drinks she kept rubbing her face and head like she was so tired and didn't care. We ordered 3 yes 3 blended drinks at 8:00 pm last night she said she only had 1 blender since they were closing soon and it may take a few and I said what time are you closed and she said 9 pm 1 hr to go. I watched her make our drinks. Horrible service the young gal drop ice cube on the ground she picked it up and threw it back in the ice machine... I about drove off if it wasn't for my 4 yr old wanting his smoothy, she makes the drinks puts them on the counter and says (Do you want whip in them) I said yes please she abruptly squeeze whip cream into the cups. I was talking to my wife about the whole thing I didn't even realize she had 1 of the drinks at my car never once said here you go. She dropped one of the lid picked it up and put it back with the rest of them I about drove off in the drive thru before our drinks was done. Never said thank you or have a great night. read more

This is my favorite coffee drive-thru. The staff are super friendly and always remember your order if you are a frequent patron. I typically get an Iced Green Tea, but their coffee is better than all the other coffee places that I have been to. The line tends to be long during peak hours, bit it is totally worth it. Make sure you ask for a punch card because you get a free drink after purchasing ten drinks. read more

Anytime I want a coffee I go to black rock. I'm a huge fan of the coffee, but today I was super disappointed with the service. There were 3 girls working the Beaverton stop this morning and were taking an extremely long time to get through 4 cars in front of me (measurement of time is I listened to 2.5 full songs plus commercials on the radio). By the time I got to the window it took over 10 seconds for them to say "hello" because they were talking poorly and gossiping about another person and had to finish a story. I'm guessing they were doing this with the 4 prior orders. They continued to gossip while making my order, not stopping the conversation to even provide a little friendly banter. I think the worst part is they didn't get my order correct. My drink tastes like it doesn't even have coffee in it, only milk. I still love Black Rock coffee, but please acknowledge your customers and maybe not gossip when you have people present. It's not a good look for the company. read more
