    Tuna bolognese

Phenomenal meal supporting one of my absolute favorite places, despite being take out due to COVID! The white bean hummus and olive oil with bread is always a must. The organic greens salad with fried shallots was so fresh and a good portion. We added Gorgonzola which was a nice addition. I had the tuna bolognese because I wait all year long for this dish. Absolutely phenomenal dish, words cannot describe how decadent it is. Everything blackfish creates is always fabulous. No complaints ever

Still one of the best restaurants on Cape Cod! Food is excellent and shows a heightened degree of flavors and execution. Great ambience, cozy and intimate but diners are not crowded. Great bar area too for solo dining.

I came here with a party of 12 to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary, and I really enjoyed the food and drinks. I ordered the raw Wellfleet Oysters, the burger on a gluten-free bun with the garlic aioli, topped off with a coke and a delicious glass of rosé. We loved our waitress and Curtis behind the bar who shucks the oysters. They have plenty of gluten and dairy-free options and will even serve a basket of gluten-free bread with the regular bread. Blackfish is a very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food. Overall I wish I could come back here more often and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good food.

Another fabulous meal at Blackfish..Nice cocktail list..I enjoyed the ginger margarita and my husband enjoyed the strawberry martini - we shared the cherrystone clam appetizer ..a little too spicy for me and the bluefish Caesar salad - a nice substitute for anchovies..the lettuce rested like it just came from the garden - house made sourdough croutons..Tuna pappardelle with mascarpone cheese and lemon never disappoints ..I loved my entree lobster with gnocchi butter beans and duxelles mushrooms..our waitress as lovely - attentive and helpful..

Found it weird that they asked if we wanted bread and then charged us $3 for it- with these prices it seems they could have included it.

I teeter-totter…read morebetween 3 and 4...4 and 5...and wish that I could award half stars; that I could hedge my bets and half commit. That was not the case with The Wicked Oyster. On a chilled November evening, my family tucked ourselves into the warmth of The Wicked Oyster for a meal we're already reminiscing about only 24-hours later. Chosen for their namesake, we ordered six raw oysters upon arrival. This was my mom and brother's first raw oyster, and they became converts upon first slurp. Though I know they're spoiled to have such exceptional oysters as their first, I don't begrudge them the experience. That initial serving of oysters went down with such rave reviews, we were left with no other choice but to expedite a repeat order. To start, I crunched on the Little Gem Salad and dreamt of slathering every meal in it's sherry mustard vinaigrette. It was just the thing to occupy my mind and palate in anticipation of the main course. Diagnosed with a "Hankering For Red Meat," I chose the 8oz Hanger Streak (pictured.) If I could pen this entry in drool, I would. The meal was sublime on every count. I wanted to linger, to draw out the night as long as possible. But all good things must come to and end, and so must our night at The Wicked Oyster. Played out by a live cellist (!), we floated to the car with leftovers in hand, dreaming of a restaurant like this at home, while thankful for the preservation of memory. The Wicked Oyster will live on in our minds, hearts, and stomachs for years to come...

NOTE: our waiter was inexplicably and somewhat aggressively handsy with me. He would ruffle my hair, put his hands on my back etc. every time he came by, despite my subtle but nonconfrontational tilting away from him. I know Provincetown has a big gay culture but just... watch out a little.

A special thank you to Elia, who helped us with our reservation, accommodated a change, and even helped with a gift card. That kind of attention and care set the tone before we even arrived. It made a real difference. The hostess at the front desk was also incredibly kind and helpful, and we appreciated that right away. We were seated upstairs in a beautiful room that felt intimate and special, perfect for celebrating the holiday. The food exceeded our expectations. We started with the crab cakes and watermelon salad, both excellent. I had the chicken, Scott had the lobster, and both were outstanding. What made the night memorable wasn't just the food, though -- it was the hospitality. You can tell when a restaurant has people who genuinely care about the guest experience, and Helltown delivered that in every way. We'll absolutely be back.
