It was very exciting encountering a restaurant with a flight-centric menu. They have a large variety of drinks with many flavors. I got the mojito, pasta, and meat flights. The pasta flight can definitely use some work. The cheese did not melt all the way.

Our servant Gianna (sorry if I misspelled) was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly , Informative & attentive! The ambiance during lunch hour is much quieter and fast. First time being here and the food was all 10/10 . Will def be coming back next time in town.

What a gem of a find in RI! Our group had the entire cute back room to ourselves. It was so cute and decorated for Xmas at the time. Love the concept of this place, appetizers, food and drinks all come in flights, like Mac and cheese flight, bruschetta, sliders, shrimp, you name it! I got the shrimp flight with bang bang, bacon wrapped and garlic. Delish. Then did the old fashioned flights with cranberry, smores and original. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

So good!! Our server was so nice, and everything was amazing!! We got the Espresso Martini Flight and the Fresh Fruit Martini Flight and narrowed down our favorites. My boyfriend's was the Mocha Espresso Martini, and mine was the Pineapple Upside Down Martini. The Pear & Honey Martini was a close 2nd though!! We also did a French Fry Flight, a Shrimp Flight, and a couple other things. It was so pretty there too!! Would definitely go again!

I didnt realize there were multiple locations and apparently made my reservation for a different location but luckily they were able to accommodate us. The bartender/waitress was very attentive. I didnt realize till we were already on the way if you want to try the cheese wheel flight you need a specific reservation which I will definitely make next time. The truffle mac&cheese was delicious the buffalo mac was like a shredded chicken on top but was delicious when mixed it. The baked mac i wouldnt do again because it was obviously not backed in this plate it was more like a breadcrumb topping just added after the fact making it pretty dry. The flights tho small are super filling. Definitely will be back for a girls nigbt so we can try a little of everything. The normal size Entrees are extremely limited as flights are the main attraction.

A few friends and I decided to try here for lunch. What a great choice it was ! Our serve Megan was so friendly and helpful with the menu, and another chef/cook Al came out to do the cheese wheel for our pasta flight - he was phenomenal! The Mac and cheese flight and the French fry flight were split between the 3 of us and they were all delicious. The ambiance was nice- beautiful interior. Will definitely be coming back soon

Although a great concept (restaurant with bunch of flights), the execution is poor - especially for the price. Other reviews talk about the service and they were right! The service was very slow, it took about 45 minutes or more for our food to come out (basically a bunch of pasta and a salad). I got the vegan flight which was a big mistake since you are paying $18 for a slider the size of your palm or smaller, a deconstructed salad basically (the "lettuce wrap"), and 11 fries (not kidding!). This was a complete waste of money in my opinion, especially when there are better restaurants in the area. The food was warm at best (for both my meal and others which was mainly pasta dishes). I ended up eating all of it since I was waiting so long and was very hungry but was still hungry after eating this kids meal sized portion. Others in my party ordered pasta which was not cooked to order considering the temperature when it came out and the sauces weren't anything special. Maybe even bottled/pre made? They ordered chicken which they said was rubbery. The waitress was nice as she noticed a member of my party didn't eat any of the chicken and rice soup and they took it off our bill. The chicken and rice soup seemed like a bag of rice dumped in a bowl of broth with a few pieces of chicken. The manager in charge was nice as well but I was so fed up with my meal that I just wanted to leave. This whole experience kind of felt like being on Gordon Ramsey's new show Secret Service

Service was very poor and it took over 40 minutes to get our food and it was subpar at that! Its all about making the customer feel at home not being able to facilitate ur patrons with adequate service is absolutely terrible Friday night federal hill has fallen

Food took a long time. The pasta flight vodka penne tasted like canned ravioli. The price for the meals isn't worth it.

Somehow, despite having lived here for years and spending plenty of time around downtown…read moreProvidence, I had never been to The Eddy. I'm honestly not sure how I missed it, because this is exactly the kind of place I like finding. It is the true definition of a small cocktail bar. The space is tiny, intimate, and has a very specific atmosphere, so if you're looking for a big place with plenty of tables, this probably isn't it. If you're looking for a great cocktail in a cozy little bar, however, you're in the right place. The cocktail menu is excellent. There are a lot of creative options that go well beyond the standard collection of Old Fashioneds, Margaritas, and Martinis you'll find at most bars. The drinks are imaginative without becoming gimmicky, and the combinations we tried were really well balanced and interesting. You can tell there is some serious thought behind the cocktail program, and it makes ordering something new a lot of fun. Our waitress was fantastic as well. My wife ordered a drink that apparently isn't something every bartender is familiar with, so our waitress went back to the bartender to ask about it. The bartender immediately knew exactly what she was talking about, which was a nice little reminder that these people actually know their drinks. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience easy without hovering over us. The music deserves a mention, too. It was fantastic and fit the atmosphere perfectly. The Eddy has that comfortable, slightly dark cocktail-bar feeling where you can sit down, have a drink, listen to good music, and actually enjoy being there rather than feeling like you're sitting in a loud restaurant waiting for someone to bring you your check. My only real warning is that this place is genuinely small. That is part of its charm, but it also means getting in and finding a seat can be difficult at times, particularly when it's busy. You probably shouldn't show up with a large group expecting to immediately find a table. For two people looking for a couple of really good cocktails, though, it's pretty much ideal. The prices are also quite reasonable for the quality of the drinks. You're obviously paying cocktail-bar prices rather than dive-bar prices, but I didn't feel like we were being taken advantage of. Considering the creativity and quality of what we were drinking, I thought the prices were perfectly fair. I'm actually a little annoyed that I went this long without knowing The Eddy existed. Providence has so many cocktail bars that you can spend years here and still keep discovering places you've somehow walked past a hundred times. The Eddy is definitely going on the list of places we need to come back to, and we will 100% be back.

Walking in here after that movie felt like walking right back into the Star Wars universe. The music, the lighting, the layout, the vibes, everything is perfection. The service is pleasant & attentive. The drinks can sometimes be a hit, sometimes a miss. They're always expensive, though. That's one reliable factor. Most recently, I tried the "oyster shell martini" that featured gin, dry vermouth, riesling, oyster acid, & lemon oils. I loooove a savory, weird drink. I saw it & knew I needed to try it. Unfortunately, it was seriously imbalanced. It was wine heavy, with an extremely poisonous aftertaste that lingered forever & ever & ever. I would never order this again. I'm sure I'll be back in the future. Again, the ambience is unbeatable. It's a great place to take a date or a group of Star Wars lovers.

I could have eaten three of them. We also had the crudo trio, oysters, smoked fish dip and lamb burger and everything was excellent. The lamb burger was rich and flavorful but perfectly balanced by the sweet jam, soft squishy sesame bun and thin, crispy, craggly onion rings. The smoked fish dip came with crisp nori chips that were a little intense on their own for me, but perfect with a big scoop of the creamy, smoky dip. Loved trying the three different crudos and every oyster was delicious. We sat at the bar with a great view of the whole place, great music and attentive service. Too full for dessert unfortunately because everything looked amazing. Still thinking about that scallop roll.

The drinks came out quick and they were unique and delicious. We asked the waitress about the Yellowfin piri piri and found that there were two different sized orders. We opted for the larger portion. The tuna came sliced up on a platter with piri piri sauce and two Portuguese rolls. What a dish! The sauce and the tuna was so good we didn't leave a trace of anything on that silver platter. The Crudo was to die for! Fresh fish was amazing and the olive oil was so good it just brings it to the next level. We were were not hungry after these two dishes, but we had to try a dessert with the experience so far. We opted for the cinnamon bun ice cream sandwich. Although it was good, I expected better. The cinnamon bun was a bit dry. After the quality of the tuna and crudo, I was expecting a super soft bun with the a ton of icing dripping down. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. I will be back again.

A lovely woman in the restroom overheard my friend and I unsure on where to venture, and she suggested this place! Moody and welcoming. Absolutely loved it. We went in ~10:45 on a Wednesday pm. Apparently they do live jazz weekly as well, but we'd come too late. A handful of bar patrons, a couple making out in the back of the dining room at their cute table, a lovely bartender, me& my bff. We really hit the jackpot for ambiance last night. Decor in there is so cute. I wish I took a picture of the table lamp on the bar. It was embellished with beads hanging on the rim of the shade. Our drinks were top notch. Mine was a citrus vanilla profile and hers was a savory martini. The sandwich, I had one bite of it was yummy. I don't like imitation lunch meats though. CATFISH was breaded and fried fabulously. Not oily. Crispy and crunchy. So happy to have discovered this place! The bartender told us they just celebrated 6 years of business!
