Out of all the make your own pizza places, blaze is by far the best. They never overdo any toppings and they always cook it perfectly.

Blaze is the place to be! Great Pizza, made the way you want it and in a fire burning brick-oven!!! My kids and I enjoy coming here at least once a month. We all get to make our own Pizzas and it's under $8 each. With indoor and patio seating this place is perfect for enjoying your lunch/dinner. I have only wonderful things to say about this place. My friend had heard about this thru another one of his friends =... SO we checked it out the concept is the same as pie five pizza.. Get unlimited toppings and you choose your crust but the only different they use a brick oven vs the conventional oven pie five uses.. Pizza/: it was not good at all to me, the sauce tasted very vinegar and the meat just didn't feel like it was cook all the way, None of my friends liked there pizza either so that goes to show it wasn't just me and my wacky tastebuds!! I love blaze in Arlington, but I won't be back at this location. They took are names and we waited for at least 15 minutes before leaving. They had about 10 employees (more employees than customers in the building) but they could not efficiently make pizzas. They made maybe 4 pizzas in front of us and then they started pushing To Go orders in front of us. The employees had no's sense of efficiency. They slowly did everything. At one point there was one employee at the pizza toppings turned the other way doing nothing. My wife and I just left. We were not acknowledged. They wasted a big part of my evening. I would appreciate at least employees who try to be efficient, and acknowledge the customers in their store. read more

First off, the address is completely wrong. It basically took me to the air force base. Other than that, the pizza was great. Service - 5/5 I went on opening day for the free pizza, and the staff is phenomenal. I arrived 10 minutes before closing, and everyone was still cheerful and extremely helpful. Food - 4/5 There was a vast variety of toppings and very clean. I love that I can get whatever I want. My boyfriend doesn't eat beef or pork, so I loved that there were options like turkey meatballs and chicken. I went twice in one week. Once by myself for the free pizza on opening day, and then I brought my boyfriend later in the week. I got the thicker crust for $2 the second time. It wasn't worth it in my opinion, still not very thick. The crust also gets pretty burnt on the bottom. Overall, I think this place is pretty great. So yummy! They have pizza for everyone- vegans included! They aren't too pricy and they make the pizza to order, which I love. The vegan/dairy free cheese tastes really good and is a great option for those that don't like dairy or have allergies. They also have gluten free crust, and so many toppings to choose from. Loved that I could create my own pizza for a fixed price, put as much as I want and whatever I want! Their blood orange lemonade was sooooo good and so addictive! Wish they would do something about the ham though. When I would take a bite it would slide right off my pizza and take all of my toppings with it. I have given this place 3 chances and every time I get the same thing. EXTREMELY POOR customer service and BELOW AVERAGE pizza. First time I was asking lots of questions and she laughed at me. Audible laugh. Didn't like the pizza. Thought i just ordered poorly. Second time my pizza had other people's ingredients on it. Like ingredients dropped down when they passed over it. Eww. Not to mention their gloves bouncing around between pungent and mild cheeses. Again I thought it would be better pizza next time and I'd order something different again. And finally tonight we were pushed over the edge. Our pizza was made how we requested without problems despite the dismissive employees. BUT it was another nasty pizza. I went in to order pizza at 130pm today. They were out of basil and red onion?? The order taker was nice and save the sale in-spite of being out of ingredients. There were 4 + people wandering behind the counter yet only one was making pizzas and they seemed unsure what went on the pizza Waited for several minutes at the cash register as she had stepped away?? The person cooking the pizzas and finishing the pizzas spent a great deal of time visiting. Including pulling in a few boys from an adjacent table to visit as well. The pizzas piled up to the point they had trouble matching the pizzas to the ticket. They mismatched a couple and had to correct. Mine sat on the counter as the associates visited. Finally I pointed out my pizzas. They forgot to add a drizzle of olive oil as needed All in all the experience was painful and the pizza disappointing. read more

This restaurant has a great concept and fresh ingredients. BUT the staff here is unorganized and inefficient, and that's being generous. They took so long to put my pizza in a box .. it was sitting there.. it was cold when I finally got it. The staff seemed to be waiting on friends very quickly while the paying customers stood waiting in line. The dinning room was dirty and no clean tables were available. My family and I visited this place for the first time and probably the last time. It is always a bad sign when there's a handwritten sign saying they were out of ingredients. That was disappointing, but we ordered anyway. The guy taking our orders was great, but the girl putting toppings on our pizzas was very rude. I apologized to her because I thought I must have done something wrong. That really turned me off and I couldn't enjoy my pizza. On the bright side the pizza was good. This pizza is sooo good and can't be beaten for the price. We stood in line for a few minutes but being able to pick up your pizza when you get to the end makes it worth it. No more waiting 20 minutes for a pizza. Their sauce was wonderful and tangy like fresh sauce should be. It wasn't sweet like the big chains. Yay! The crust is perfectly crisp and made me want to eat all of it. I've been to Blaze Pizza before in College Station, however at this location the workers failed to tell us that a half pizza cost the same as a full pizza (literally a $1 difference) unless they had the weekday lunch special going on. We also had the Take 2 and they forgot to give us the salad, so I had to go back up and show them the receipt to ask for it. They also did not have the arugula salad, which is what I normally come in for. Workers were very inattentive to their customer's needs and definitely aren't trying to save you money... be careful of what you order here. read more

So I've heard so many good things about this place, all have gone down the drain today. My co-workers and I, (9 of us) ordered pizza at 11:30 today. Nothing special just pizza! The person on the phone told us 35 min. Perfect. An HOUR AND A HALF later we have to call to check on our food which is 1 MILE from the restaurant and we are told the person showed up to deliver to the office but COULDN'T FIND THE SUITE NUMBER THAT'S POSTED ON THE DOOR so they took the food back. She was right outside the door and never called to tell us, "hey I can't find the suite"! My coworker called to speak to a manager and was told he's at lunch you'll have to call back in 10 minutes! REALLY? Now apparently the person picked up the pizza to deliver well over an HOUR ago and STILL hasn't made it ONE MILE! DISGUSTING business practices. I work for UPS and we have pizza catering to our business meetings and I can promise they just lost A LOT of business since the person who ordered this imaginary meal is in charge of that!! UPDATE: 2.5 hours later we are STILL waiting because apparently the driver LOST HER CAR IN THE PARKING LOT and the business has told us that it was out for delivery STILL and we haven't gotten a single thing. SOOOOOO MAD! NEVER AGAIN! By the way Blaze, you should try drug testing your employees if they can't find their own damn car! Nowhere near worth the cost. The dough knots were small and undercooked. They left toppings off the pizza, the basil was really gross and overly-wilted, and the pizza was limp and a bit soggy. I left feedback via their online form and the manager just said I should 'ask for more toppings next time' which is kinda hard give that it was a delivery order. Awful. I ordered a chicken pizza with cream sauce and there was barely any cream sauce on it so it was just crust with what I can only imagine was boiled or microwaved chicken (very odd consistency). I had ricotta, Parmesan and basil as well. None of it was seasoned so it was extremely bland and dry. I could not bring myself to eat more than a slice. It's probably pretty easy to compare this place to others such as Pie 5, but these guys win hands down because of the ingredients to choose from and the oven they use.
