We stopped by Blaze Pizza while we were in the area, and it definitely hit the spot. We ordered the Herbivore on a gluten-free crust, an original pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni, and this time we also tried the limited-time Chickpea Chicken Salad. The salad was surprisingly good, and everything tasted fresh. I love that the pizzas are made to order, so they're always hot and exactly how you want them. The only small issue was that the table we sat at was a little wobbly, but other than that, everything was great. Where do I start this. I walk in and see only a few people in line. I think this will only take a few minutes, because making a pizza doesn't take that long. I was wrong! There was a new lady who was taking the order and usually I would give the new people grace but this was inexcusable. It's take about 10 minutes to get to me and when she does I am thinking not to much longer. I continue to wait in line where I glance and see a lady who has about five kids, and they all have separate pizza orders as you can imagine. This makes a huge back up, and the woman is creating a huge issue with the pizza, not having enough pepperoni. Then I hear what I could only imagine as a manager, telling the workers to take online orders. I was appalled by this. They all stopped taking customers who are present and start taking customers who ordered from online. When it's finally my turn to tell them what toppings I would like. I tell them my toppings and they put a barely anything on. After that, I wait about 10 minutes on the side for them to cook my order. And something that made me incredibly angry was that one of the workers friends came in and she stopped to have a conversation. Now, the lady from the beginning, who is new played a big part in this because she messed up almost all the order numbers. I finally get my food after waiting 40 minutes. This was our first time trying this place out and I was pleasantly surprised on how good the pizza tasted. It was quite chaotic during their lunch rush and even though the employees were overwhelmed they were still efficient and friendly. We decided to try out their lunch specials: Take Two combo with a half pizza and cheesy bread for $11.99 and 2 Top 11" pizza + drink for $10. I like how they freshly prepare the food in front of you so you can choose what ingredients, sauces, and spices you want to add on top. It took about 10-15 minutes for our food to be ready, but it came out piping hot and freshly baked. When they took the pizza out of the oven I asked for a drizzle of hot honey and pesto which gave it some extra flavor. The pizzas had the perfect amount of toppings, the red sauce was quite tasty, and the crust had a nice to char to it. I highly recommend trying their Blood Orange Lemonade which was so refreshing and delicious. For the price and overall quality, this pizza joint definitely hit the spot! read more

What happened to this place???? Used to be fantastic, now....we are never going back. First let me say the pizza is just fine, but where did you get your staff? The staff used to be friendly and efficient, but that was awhile ago. The current staff all seem to be gunning for the slowest person on earth record, while also being extremely unfriendly. And before you think they were just rushed, trust me that is not the case. There was not a single table seated in the restaurant, and none of the tables were dirty. When we arrived, there was 1 gentleman who had already placed his order and was checking out with the cashier. There was also 1 person in front of us who had not yet placed their order. ONE PERSON!!!! And it took 18 minutes to get to us, and in that entire 18 minutes, we were not acknowledged once. My husband even said, 'I'm a minute away from walking out'. I talked him out of it, and was sorry that I did. Why did it take so long? Because the staff, who seem utterly miserable were trying really hard to take as long as humanly possible. There was 3 employees visible....and all of them were working at a snails pace, seemed very unhappy, were extremely unfriendly, and couldn't even be bothered to look us in the eye a single time. Came here one nite and got the dinner special for $40. It consisted of 3 personal pizzas of your choice and two appetizers. We opted the fired meatballs and the pesto garlic cheesy bread. Loved this place, but then all of a sudden they started getting orders out really slow. I'd hate to do this, but something has changed this used to be a quick in and out location next to...In and Out and Canes. Now they are so slow the last three visits we had to wait 1hr, 45 mins, and then 45mins again. They take online orders before in person. The guy before us had to wait almost 2hrs. We ALWAYS come to blaze, this is one main restaurant that my granddaughter is able to eat at. She has a ton of food, allergies and they're always pretty much spot on, however, today I did go by myself and I've noticed that there was some new faces and the gentleman in front of me wanted vegan cheese on his garlic bread she put on regular cheese and when he corrected her, she scooted it off with her glove and went in the vegan cheese. Really wonderful first visit at this Blaze Pizza location. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. Blaze Pizza offers some of the best tasting pizza I've had to date. Their crust flavor, chew, and stone oven baked taste cannot be beat. My favorites to order are the simple pie or 1 topping (pepperoni) 11 inch pizza and their arugula fresh fruit side salad. You cannot go wrong with those pizzas, and I have been craving that particular salad still in the weeks that have followed my visit. The atmosphere inside can get pretty loud. Just a note if you plan on meeting a friend for lunch and want to converse. Comfortable, dog friendly patio seating with table umbrellas is offered, which I'm grateful for, and my small dog and I have enjoyed. I used to be a regular at this Blaze Pizza, but repeated poor experiences have completely pushed us to a different location. Unfortunately, the issues have consistently involved the same employee, Ethan. During a promotion, when I ordered pickles on my pizza, Ethan commented that it was "disgusting" and hesitated to add them. It was judgmental and unnecessary. On another visit, we arrived at 8:30 pm and were refused service despite the posted closing time of 10:00 pm. Ethan insisted they were closing early and would not acknowledge the sign. Most recently, Ethan was loudly complaining in front of customers about coworkers being fired so he could get more hours. After being told by his manager to be professional, I asked for another employee due to discomfort. Despite this, he continued assisting us before then made comments at the register when his manager was out of hearing range. This pattern of unprofessional behavior has made this location uncomfortable to visit, and we now choose to drive farther just to avoid it. read more

Employees seemed extremely lazy on my recent visit here. I had ordered online for pick-up and, upon arrival, waited for a while, and my pizza never showed up on the pick-up rack. I asked about it and was handed a pizza that had been sitting on the counter. When I opened the box, none of the finishes, such as olive oil drizzle and arugula, were on the pizza. I looked around, and the employee had disappeared, and I waited a while before she came back to the counter for me to ask. I informed her of the mistake and asked them to remake it. She simply took my pizza behind the counter and added the missing ingredients, and handed it back to me. My husband and I ordered delivery from Blaze because I was not feeling up to cooking and he had a hard day at work and had to up early in the morning and had to eat fairly quickly. So I ordered while he was showering so he could eat as soon as it got here and get to bed. It seemed like a simple plan. Well, it got here and I watched the delivery guy on my ring camera fumble as he took the pizzas and our meatballs and cookies out of the insulated bag. The entire order fell onto the ground. My husband opened the door to a puddle of red sauce with meatballs and cheese and cookies and napkins all swimming in it. The dasher was apologetic and said they wanted to go above and beyond to replace the items. Long story short. 15 minutes later we get a call from their supervisor saying they won't be replacing the items and we had to contact Blaze Pizza directly. The pizzas were tossed around but salvageable so we cleaned the boxes that had sauce on them and ate them. They were amazing as Blaze always is. Even being a little cold. It sat for a while being that we had to clean the mess on the front porch. Sorry about not having any photos. Forgot to take any with all the commotion. I wrote an email to Blaze about the situation and a gentleman named Jonathon wrote me back right away. He went above and beyond to make me feel cared for. He generously offered me reward points on my loyalty account to make up for my time and loss of food items. Blaze Pizza is truly a Five Star business. Five Star Food and Five Star Service. So basically Door Dash was responsible for messing up my order. Mistakes happen I get that. But if the Dasher was more careful and not unzip the bag while walking this would not have happened. I did an online order last night (Mar 2) at 5:15pm for pick-up at 6:15pm. They had a 3 BYO pizza and choice of 2 sides for a reasonable price of $40 which I paid by credit card. I arrived a bit earlier at 6:10pm to collect my food - big mistake! When I got there, the ordering line was jammed up and the order pick-up was a mess and backed up. No notification if my order was ready or being worked on. There were 2 gals there; 1 sobbing for whatever reason and the other clueless and slow. Asked if my order was ready and the clueless one said it's in the oven. She lied (and was later called out by the manager) and in fact it hasn't even been started. Total mess and other people waiting for pick-up were all waiting and confused. Thankfully a very efficient manager (sadly I didn't get the name) came into the packing line and started getting the orders fulfilled. Slowly but surely each order was getting out to the waiting customers but there was a lot of mixup with food orders - can't blame the managers as much given the chaos. My 6:15 order of 3 pizzas didn't come out until 655pm so I basically waiting for 40mins. Was so fed up that I didn't bother asking for the 2 sides they missed as I didn't want to wait any longer. My pizza order was also screwed up as I only got 2 pizza orders correct and the other one was completely wrong - only learned this when i got home. It was my 1st time trying blaze pizza out and I swore that it was my 1st and last after that horrible service experience. However, the saving grace was the 2 pizza orders they got right were excellent. Really good and my wife and friends loved it; me too! Maybe I just picked the wrong time to order and they had service staff issues. Not sure but I do hope that was it. I will buy from them again but next time I will go order there directly (to see if the lines are chaotic again) or buy during off peak hours. Kudos to the efficient manager or lead person who stepped up and tried to get the orders out quickly. read more

Ripped benches, dirty interior and floor clearly haven't been mopped in years, foot prints from the rain 3 days ago as well as being cracked. For the price you pay for a pizza repairs can definitely be afforded. Dirty chairs with sauce on them and it was only approximately 1215 pm. The employees were not friendly, and very rude. Pizza was lacking sauce and felt like was eating cooked dough. Will definitely not be going to this location again. Shame on blaze as if I could give lower than one star I would. read more

Pros: + Blaze often offers enticing and fun promos that lure me back in and somehow make me optimistic "this time" will be different. + They are one of the few pizza places that has vegan options so my elderly mom with dietary restrictions can have takeout pizza again. + Conceptually, our family likes the idea of every person getting their own individual pie to their liking for about the same price as buying large pizzas elsewhere. Plus they offer so many ways to customize (level of doneness, etc). Cons: - quality has potential but never quite hits. no matter how many ingredients or extra seasonings we add, it just tastes bland and non-cohesive. I know that's a weird descriptor for pizza, but it's the only way I can think to explain it. - They offer online ordering which in theory is convenient but in practice their app is a con. Its clunky and sometimes takes four times as long to place an order than had you just called it in or walked in and waited. No joke, it's taken up to 30 minutes to complete an online order because of system errors before. - Ive had missing items from my order before and there hasn't been an efficient way short of going back to the restaurant to get a refund or adjustment so I just give up because that's the last thing i want to do. I wish Blaze were better... the concept and ambiance are all great. Location is convenient. Their marketing / price & promo team does a great job of compelling offers and branding that gets people in the door. The product itself just doesn't quite deliver. read more

probably the worst location of blaze pizza i've ever been too. I came here on a saturday at 7:00 pm and didn't leave till 8:37!!! there is no reason why i'm waiting longer than an hour for my food. The line wasn't even that long it's just the employee putting the sauce and cheese was taking so slow that it caused a huge wait time for everybody else. really unorganized and no one here was older than 18. Just really unprofessional and disorganized I would take your business elsewhere.
