09/12/2018 - I visited Blaze today for a quick lunch with my better half, and this is what I found. Apparently the menus has changed, but none of the new prices are posted. I originally wanted a simple pie, so I asked for the price and was told that it went up a dollar. Wow! Okay, but the price wasn't posted for that or the one topping or the two topping. The only price available was the $8.45 on the top for unlimited toppings. Very weird. I wound up ordering a take 2. I was disappointed in the size of the salad and it is not worth trading away half a pizza, in my opinion only. Although some may argue that it is healthier. :) That said, the salad wasn't that good anyway,so I'm done with that choice. I'll get something else next time. My wife ordered the Dough Knots, and the oven lady, who was extremely busy, mangled the knots before putting them onto a plate and tossing them towards me. I told her that the knots were mangled and she dutifully asked if I would like her to refire them. That's when she gave me a slow-roll. After 15 minutes, I had to walk up and ask for them. She actually tossed the pieces onto a dish, and not neatly, and once again slid them to me. Very rude. Now I have to say that absolutely everyone else there was super nice, polite, and professional. So, I am asking with tongue firmly in cheek, for someone to lessen this poor girl's workload. I know I will by actively avoiding her in the future. If she is at the oven, I may go next door. LOL. The arugula salad the first time I had it was fresh but after that it was so dry and they never give enough fresh fruit (they're always out?) Very delicious pizza for a reasonable price. You may have to wait an extended period of time so be sure to order online so you can just pick up, but even then you may have to wait. Be patient because the pizza is worth it but typically they only have 1 to 2 people working there so the lines can be long and I can take a very long time to be served. Skimpy toppings on the pizzas and thru don't even fill the beer all the way. When I asked if they filled it all the way the person behind the counter cheerfully said "nope" and walked away from me. This place has been a favorite because I can build my own pizza, and if you ask for more of anything, they do it. It took a few times to figure out what I like, and I like to mix it up sometimes with different ingredients. It has been busy most of the weekends we stop by during lunch time. Finding seating can be hard sometimes. There is seating outside but it can get chilly outside. read more

Chipotle style pizza shop is a big hit around here, especially because it is fast and cheap. Fresh ingredients and made to order, they are very delicious. I had ordered a bundle deal to be delivered to a resort I am staying in for an anniversary celebration. This order included a large meat pizza, dough bites, and two desserts. I had also requested for a side of ranch and pepperoncinis. When the food was delivered, with no napkins or paper plates, these were my findings. Pizza - not cut, had to use a personal blade to cut a slice. It was getting cold and the cheese was hard and not melted. Breadsticks - completely burnt and inedible. Side requests - no ranch, and no side of peppers as requested. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Poor quality food for the price you pay. read more

Damon's interactive social skills, and his lively energy almost made me forget about how much of a terrible day I had. The pizza isn't gourmet and they don't try to sell it as such. Nothing sticks out about the flavor of the product. That's not to say it isn't satisfying but nothing stands out as a wow factor. There is nothing you can point to here like the crust at Cheeseboard in Berkeley. The marinara sauce is on the bland side and the crust is not flavorful. The overriding appeal here is the location and timing. For under $10 and in less than 10 minutes you can have a quick pizza made to your order of ingredients. The restaurant is fairly spacious inside, the food fairly priced and it is usually very clean. read more

Restaurant was way over staffed with half the employees play around with one another during a dinner rush. I placed an online order, pick ready @ 613pm. I got there at 605, the manager saw me sitting there waiting for some time asked what the name of my order was and said it would be right out. Come to find out my pizza and cheese bread was ready when I got there, it sat almost 20 minutes waiting for "someone" to get the brownies. Oh my gee! My pizza is cold and soggy but at least the browies are good. I was so mad. I could packed the browies myself. This Restaurant is unorganized and staff is not professional. Arrived here about 45mins before their closing for a late night dinner after being on the road for awhile. (Ps: thanks, Blaze, for being one of the few places open late in the area!) Even though they were pre-closing, the employees were attentive however it did still feel a bit rushed and a couple regular topping options weren't available anymore. The concept of blaze is easy. You either choose a preset pizza or choose to build your own. They also offer a salad and half pizza option which is more than enough food for one person. I ended up choosing the build your own pizza to split with my friend. The wait wasn't too long, even though they had a few to-go orders and a couple more customers in front of us. Overall a fresh, somewhat healthy depending on what toppings you choose, late night pick. read more
