Instead, they regularly have one person making the dough but also serving customers. That is why their line is so slow! Once saw a line out the door, one poor girl is taking orders and trying to get the dough going, while a guy is making boxes and a few are joking at the register. Before I came to Yelp, I contacted Blaze directly via email about a situation where I had ordered a pizza online for pickup and it had not even made it to the oven when I got there. I walked out with my pizza fifteen minutes after I expected to be able to pick it up and go and this frustrated me. Every single time we come here, there is a long line of customers waiting to order. Somehow, the manager seems to assign the slowest workers to put toppings on the pizzas. Theres always workers walking around but don't seem to contribute much. The pizzas are good for the price but it is getting old to have to wait so long just to order a simple pie. I suggest they retrain the workers assigned to assembling the pizzas and put the slow workers on making boxes or sweeping the place. You can do better. Good pizza, bad management. read more

All of their staff members were very short with me tonight. 2 hours before closing you would expect them to give you a little more on toppings especially if there is a lot of it, the guy handling my order was not friendly at all and very stingy on the one topping I asked for, not like the blaze near my hometown at all. I tell him that's all and then he disappears...I'm sure you pay right after but everyone working that night was not attentive to anyone in the store, I still wanted to add to my order such as drink/dessert so I just waited for my name to be called and the cashier asks me why I didn't pay yet like it was my fault. I went to Blaze Pizza last night to use my pi reward for $3.14, since it was the last day to use. I don't have their app on my phone because I'm not a frequent customer, so I took a pic of the reward and pulled it up on the web. The manager (Ivan) kept insisting I needed to download the app in order to use the coupon and I kept saying no I have it right here!! After this went on for about 10 minutes, he decided the best approach was to ignore me and help the other customers. So, when he finally came back to me he tried to scan the coupon and no it did not accept it. Okay, and why has this not been reported to upper management so the scanners can get fixed?? I tried explaining to him that today is the last day to use the reward and to just override the price. After going back and forth again about how I needed to download the app, he started playing games by saying you have to say please!?!? WTH, I don't have time to play games in order to get a less than par pizza (that I ended up giving to a homeless guy). Ivan needs a refresher course in management training, so he can learn how to deal with situations and customers. I appreciate all workers in the hospitality industry, but if this was any other similar establishment the pizza would have been free and I would have been offered a free drink. Came in tonight at 8:00 PM on 9/12/18. The workers are so slow . I should not have waited in line for 40 min. I even doubt there was a manager on duty. These workers need to be trained to go faster no one wants to wait in line for 40 min for one pizza. I will go elsewhere. read more

Well this time I ordered online to pick up was running late on errands . I had placed the order at 4:15 with a pick up time of 4:45 . Arrived at 4:45 and waited and waited and oh did I tell you I had to wait? After standing there for 15 min with no assistance I asked the pizza cutter about my online order she mentioned the cashier would help me check in . 10 mins later still no help I told the gal I wanted a refund I had already been there 40 min. I've been to this location 4 times. Twice the wait was at least 30 minutes, which would be fine if the employees were working hard; however, they were lethargic, they ignored customers, and they were joking around while I waited to be helped. Worst service ever! This blaze is disgustingly dirty. Everywhere you look it's dirty. Counters, floor, oven, doors you name it it's gross! The employees are rude. Won't even look up at you when they're taking your order or by the counter area. Don't ask if you've been helped or need anything, they're too busy in there conversations to pay any attention to anyone standing at the counter. One of the employees had long pointy nails that should not be allowed in a food place like this. They got in the way and the pizza she made was messy. In comparison to the blaze in Salinas which has great service and is super clean, this place is a total disappointment. We won't be coming back. read more

Quality is decent when the order is rarely correct. Probably have had it 10 separate times with only maybe half the orders being cooked correct. This number should be at 100% not 50%. The reason why we won't be back is the visit today of 4 piled up pizza boxes resulted in a surprise empty box. How the hell do you just forget to put a whole pizza in the box?!? First time here. Had a coupon to try the Dough Knots, they were out of them. I ordered a signature BBQ Chicken pizza so I didn't have to decide all the individual toppings and to try it their way. They had to stop after every ingredient to get my approval. It was a bit annoying but I can see why with how other people in line were asking for more or less of a particular item. After all the questions I ended up adding bacon just because I could. I ordered an Iced Tea for my drink and wasn't informed that they were also out of ice. It happens. Tomorrow is probably delivery day. The meal was satisfying. I was credited the drink price upon request and went without. I still want to come back and try again. I was called "juan" because my name is spelled "Hans" after my pizza i ordered a smores, the girl just handed it to me and i asked if they warmed it up, she said only upon request, so i asked for it to be warmed up.
