The pizza was really good. The issue is the employees were not personable. It was like they did not want to he there. They also spoke too fast and had to battle the loud music playing in the restaurant. Had to have them repeat them selves several times because of the volume of the music. If anyone has allergies or doesn't care for certain toppings pick something else as you build your own pizza. Nobody here was taught how to make a proper pizza. I got a "veg out" pizza and there was hardly any vegetables on it. On top of that, they always burn the crust! Ive been here multiple times and its the same thing every time. Not going to give it another chance. read more

2 1/2 stars actually... I did a build your own, and some how my pizza fell apart in the oven and they had to remake the whole thing. It sucked because my friends were finished with their food when I got mine so it wasn't worth having lunch together. When I received my food, the chicken tasted like it wasn't cooked all the way, looked really white. They forgot to put the BBQ sauce on it and I wasn't in the mood to get up again since i was in a rush and just needed to eat. Maybe I'll give them another chance in the future. read more

It was quite good for what it is...a personal, freshly made pizza for a reasonable price....good ingredients, nice staff, clean tables, had no complaints and kids loved it....some other reviews have not been that charitable, if you want an "expensive gourmet" pizza, go to an expensive, gourmet place....if you want a good, fresh, personal pizza for a reasonable price and nice staff, give it a shot! the only reason i come here is for the ranch and when i asked the employee for ranch she wanted to put it on the pizza because apparently it took too much effort to put it in the cup. they were just very rude but to be fair it was busy but cmon just be prepared with ranch cups. we went all the way to target after to buy a bottle of ranch. hidden valley always come through. read more

I went in on Friday for their free pizza day. The line was long but moved quickly. In and out with pizza in hand under 45 minutes (the line was out the door and around the building). Once inside the interior was clean and well kept for the flow of opening day. The staff was friendly and super helpful. Everyone knew what they were doing and everyonr could answer any questions. I was impressed for the first day. My pizza did not come out perfect and the manager wanted to fix it. I stated it wasn't an issue and although I appreciate the though, I'd hate to waste food because a corner of my crust wasn't perfect. I did a build your own pizza. Regular red sauce and mozzarella cheese. I added grilled chicken that was fresh and tasty. Tomatoes that were fresh as well. I also added black olives and mushrooms which didn't have a lot of flavor as other pizza places. The sautéed onions were heaven sent and my favorite thing on the entire pizza. I also added artichoke hearts and garlic. Neither I would order again. The artichocke hearts just had zero flavor. The pizza was good. The crust was thin and fresh. My hands were covered in black from the bottom of the crust but I didnt mind. The price is 8.75 for a individual pizza but I was full at only half of a pizza. Mine was 6 big pieces. Would I come back here again....yes. The service was great, the food was good, and I appreciate the attention to detail like calling me by my name and asking if that was enough each time she added a topping. Why yes it is enough, thank you for asking. By the way...the opportunity to top off my pizza with balasmic glaze and ranch at the end.....done, drop the mic. I've had the same experience three of three times with Blaze Pizza. Honestly, I'm confused by the generally high ratings. In all three cases, the pizza delivered was not what was ordered. Despite a seemingly free selection of various toppings, the pizza had either very little or none of what we ordered. The latest example is a simple pizza with black olives, mushrooms and oregano. Over half the outer area was missing any of the toppings. The central third had some olive slices, three mushroom slices an no oregano. I had two previous, similar experiences but you get the idea. read more

they were rude but i work for a food company as well so i understand but they do not need to be rude and we were being polite. and second the woman making my pizza added so much cheese when i asked for light cheese. and when i told her that that was enough cheese and to just spread what she already had which was already so much she continued to add more. and i would have guess she didn't hear me but she did pause when i said to just spread what she had and still continued. and once i told her that there was to much she all she said was oh im sorry without even offering to either just take it off or make a whole new one which there was no need just a simple scrape off the cheese. and the first soda we got tasted terrible and it was made twice because the first cup was leaking. overall very disappointed. i usually come a lot and they always make it perfect. read more

First time at Blaze Pizza. Enjoyed going down the line and choosing what I wanted on the pizza while watching the whole process. A nice variety of toppings. Waited only 5 minutes or less to come out of the oven and my name called. I took it home and warmed it a few minutes in the oven on a cookie sheet. Flavor and toppings were great! I love the food but I recently order a pizza through the app and the service wasn't great at all. I ordered at 12:55 and online said it'd be ready at 1:08. I get there at 1:10 and they hadn't even started my order. So I waited and I didn't end up leaving until 1:30. On top of that, they didn't even get my order right. I was already about to be late for class so I didn't bother checking to see if my order was correct until I got home. Finally Ally got the order and drove home only to open up 2 completely wrong pizzas. One of which was so drowned in balsalmic glaze that it was impossible to eat. I often go to the Blaze Pizza in Salinas. This was my first trip to this location. I love Blaze's build your own pizza! They have so many choices. You get to watch the whole process. I got all of the many cheeses on spicy sauce, then threw on some pepperoni and sausage and bacon, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, grilled zucchini, two kinds of olives. Seriously, how do they make money with all the stuff I put on the pizza? It only took a few minutes to bake the pizza. The edges got a little done, but they didn't taste burnt. The pizza was awesome!!!! I mean awesome!!!!! But the final reason for the fifth star is their blood orange lemonade. I'd drive many miles just for that! Don't miss out on it! read more
